Which is the hardest heist setup/finale with randoms for you?

Recommended Posts

I reckon deliver emp should be the hardest, but then i got a pretty decent group, completed it with few tries and the finale in first tries with the same group.

Prison break finale is the one i failed the most, the pilot player leaves quite often, with the cant lose cop glitch, i cant be the pilot, it's a disaster. Finally got it after more than ten different groups.

Currently, all of them. My friends no longer play GTA, i play randoms every heist.

What console are you on? I'm on the PS3 and will host the heists for you to do with people that have experience with all the heists. That way you can unlock any unlocks and also so that you will make money.

Prison Break by a large margin.

I don't know what it is that people find so difficult about it (glitched wanted stars not withstanding) but I've had way more screw-ups in it. Stupid stuff too like blowing up the prison van in the wrong spot, failed parachute jumps, flying into mountains/windmills/oceans, running into propellers....

I won't say the others have been flawless but they tend to all be combat-death related failures.

There's too many setups to choose from lol, I've finished all the heists, a couple of them more than once and in my experience with randoms we have to quick restart every setup/heist at least twice.

When it comes to heist finales, probably the pacific standard heist. I don't understand why but all randoms seem to have trouble with it and by the time they manage to not die and get to the boat after several quick restarts we only make about 500-600k$. :(

It's strange because to me the prison break and series a funding finales were both quite a bit harder than the pacific standard finale. Literally all you have to do is use cover and shoot at the right time to get to the bikes and then just dodge cops until you get to the mt. chiliad tunnel which is pretty simple but for some reason the randoms I've played this heist with can't do it.

Well, I've only completed the First three heists all through to finale. And Yes, I think the Prison Break Finale may be the most difficult for newer folks ESPECIALLY if you all dont have mics (which is damn mandatory in the finale anyway IMO) But only because it has the most variables.

But, looking at it from another perspective the prison break finale can be made easier with four tips if i may be so bold as to post them.

1: Pilot should always when landing the plane to pick up the prof be faced AWAY from the prison. I learned that the hard way. Cop cars and stuff will generally spawn / arrive from that direction but not the other way.

2: Easiest way to deal with jets is to fly behind them (INB4 THIS GETS PATCHED) because doing that will cause the jets to just fly around doing basically nothing at all.

3: Demoltions should focus on blowing up cop heli's once the prof has been collected and is in the plane. Blowing up the cars on the runway is a bonus.

4: Prison officer / prisoner can visit Amu-nation on the way to the prison in order to get the prisoner better weapons. (yes you can visit amu-nation in the middle of a heist finale or setup. Inb4 rockstar patches this.)

Having said that, I think that probably the hardest job in that mission (again at least for newer people) would be being the prisoner/officer or realy the prisoner because of lack of weapons and/or armor.

Bikers..... you have no f*cking idea how many times I had to do this.......

the last part of The Pacific Standard Job is a bitch to do. I gave up on that heist for now because we ended up getting the money down to 600k due to at least one of us always dieing. Divide 600k between 4 players at 25% each... yeah.. not much money to be made.

^ this. I can honestly say I have not had problems with any but the motorcycle part of escape part of the Pacific standard job.

I'm kinda surprised. Sounds like either people are rushing, don't stock up on snacks, and armour, or generally aren't thinking.

I'm not trying to be a dick but come on logic dictates that an unarmed plane would be safest behind an enemy jet.

Avoid flying over the prison, or they will shoot you down. (or try to at least)

Once you got the prison team gain altitude as quickly as possible and head for the ocean.

Don't rush in the prison it's self. Take your time, use cover.

And for the love of god. Dress appropriately. If you think there is going to be heavy combat use heavy combat uniforms they protect you from some damage.

Deliver EMP was definitely the hardest setup with randoms. The Pacific Standard Job was probably the hardest heist. People just can't seem to listen or communicate, even with mics. Randoms don't like the Pacific Standard Vans setup, either. They don't understand what to do as navigators every time I seem to join.

pacific standard, and now rockstar has made it even more ridiculous, police spawning in places they never use to, you trip over and lose 50k, just did it on normal with some randoms, 550k after about 10 restarts got 82,500, i might as well have done prison break

Series a coke

Prison break finale

Prison break station

Human labs deliver emp

Humane labs emp

Pacific standard finale

Pacific standard signal

Pacific standard convoy

Theres a few i have trouble on with randoms

With this job when i'm put as a navigator i just get into my own car and do it people don't seem to know you can do that

Other than that, Deliver EMP and Wet Work seem to be the most problematic where randoms are concerned.

On wet works if you are the city all team you can use your regular assault rifles no need for sniper rifles you're going to hit everytime with the assault rifle

I never had a problem with Deliver EMP.

Seen many vids of people doing it with pistols, just running around and shooting all guards/scientists with it so I went from that and always worked. Just do your thing fast so the randoms can't screw it up.

But the Pac Standard finale... Every other time you'll find that one dude that can't ride a bike to save his life.

It sucks all the joy out of the mission when people do this. Depending upon my mood, I usually wait till they have gotten all four vans and then jump off a tall building. They usually cotton on after the second suicide. lol

Series a coke

Prison break finale

Prison break station

Human labs deliver emp

Humane labs steal hydra(forgot the mission name)

Pacific standard finale

Pacific standard signal

Pacific standard convoy

Theres a few i have trouble on with randoms

All of that (the Hydra mission is "EMP" by the way) but I'd add Series A Weed and Humane Labs Key Codes to it as well. Neither of them are complicated mission but I've seen them screwed up countless times now.

Series A Coke has to be one of the hardest setups. It's very easy to forget exactly which cabin the guys are hiding in and cop a shotgun blast at point blank range. On hard, if it's not a one-hit-kill, it's pretty damn close.

I hate doing that mission with randoms as they all pile into one car while we have moe doing the drivin and not knowing how to get rid of the cops
