If I dont get 40 I dont stay. However with me it is a garaunteed sucess and I can do it all alone. 10+ Flawless CM challenges, over 200 heists run. So I wont help randoms who wont pay me for my efforts.

Pay all heist crew 20% not just me, or i will fail the finale when its about to be finished.

I dont care about the ammo cost or the actual cut value. Its a matter of principle.

Leader pays every crew members THE SAME DECENT AMOUNT of money and doesnt try to screw with anyone. Period.

As i said at the last minute i will text the host "heist's over greedy boy" then purposely ruin the finale if the leader didnt do what i said above.

Waste of time you say ? What are you talking about ? I just had fun ruining a greedy leader's time and received lovely hate mails in the process.

Just lol. You're the one being greedy now, overpricing yourself.

It goes both ways. If i host and someone asks for more than 20%, that guy can go F himself, ill just kick the guy if we're still looking for people or leave and host again if he says it on the board screen.

I remember joining the Pac Standard Finale...

since I'm fine with 15% or more, I ready myself...

Suddenly the leader changes my cut to 0% and starts..

So when it started, instead of rushing to the bank...I cruised all the way home...(Can't blame, I ain't about to put my life on the line for nothing)

So the kid messages me: "C*nt, get back here and let's start"

To my reply, I said: "Sorry, gotta do something for Simeon...and he pays better" ... then I quit..

So glad I dont have to worry about money. I usually tell the heist leader to give everyone else my share since I don't need the money. When I host heists I like to give everyone my share and I always make sure I recieve 0%. I want everyone else to get a good payout.

If you ever see me host a heist. Consider it your lucky day because you are definitely getting paid :D:colgate::^: !

That's nice, I would gladly give you a 40% cut when I do the Fleeca Job. Also, love to see a video when you do the heist alone.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If the leader takes 55% I go with 15% or 10%

If the leader takes 0% then I take min 20%

Fair enough?

Nowadays whenever a Host changes mine to 5% or 0%, I ready up, but then quit immediatly after the Heist Finale starts.

This way since we started, the host still has to pay his setup fee for the failed Finale.

Yet nobody else wasted time or ammunition by going through part of the Finale prior to it failing.

Just make the greedy f*ck lose money.

Now if it's obvious that the other two players are his friends, then sure drag out the trolling for a bit before failing.

Last week a Host tried the messaging distraction on me, however on the X1 you can still see your cut when viewing messages.

Easily noticed my cut was 0%.

So I sent him a message once we got into the bank (PS).

I said "Nice Try", shot up all the hostages in the bank, & watched the Host & his friends die over & over again by NOOSE.

Wasted $100 on ammunition (literally nothing), but worth it to see the greedy @holes suffer.

I still have fireworks from the first 4th of July DLC (When the game was only on prev gen.).

So next time I'm in the situation, I'll set one off in the bank, killing all the hostages in a festive manner.

I like the way you think :) this will be my strategy from now on... When I get my GTA

I accept party invite, throw on the Beastie Boys-sabotage over the mic, then proceed to start blowing up personal vehicles. It's counterproductive, but fun.

Theres alot of cheap fools on GTA, even with the pac standard exploit, they try to do 70/15/15... I always mic up then and tell them 60/20/20, most the time i get it for me and the other person... Nowadays, i dont heist up unless its 25% cut my way

I wait for the timer to hit 1 second then leave if nothing is changed.

My rule is that if I helped with more than 1 setup I should receive 20 or more.

If I have joined a random heist final, I am content with 10% and will ask for that to be my cut. Anything less and I will leave and sell a car or something.

My friends and I only take 10% if the random has been a fun player through the set up's, regardless of level. If they join the final then it will be 25& each.

Can't see the point in ruining anything at the end of a final, seems a bit pointless and a waste of time...

I'll ask them to set it to 40/20/20/20, please, and if they still won't then I just leave. The funniest reaction to that was a guy who'd been trying to set it to 70/10/10/10, and when I asked him to change it to 40/20/20/20, he instead opted for 70/20/5/5, with me getting the 20 (the other 2 were very low levels). So I still left. Either everyone gets a fair cut, or I'm out.

God I hate people like you. Self-righteous white knight f*ckers.

For the prison break heist I gave myself 55% and everyone else 15%. If you want to have the biggest cut, go make your own f*cking heist. I'm the one who had to do the setup missions to even unlock the heist, I'm the one who put my own money down to make the heist possible, I'm the one who has to endure the f*cking idiots who have no idea what to do and fail the heist over and over again. You're getting $60,000 for nearly zero effort. Only the guys entering the prison have to make an actual effort, the other two can relax in a plane and helicopter.

But guess what, nobody gives a sh*t if you leave because you didn't get your 25%. There's more than enough people who will be happy with what they can get.

This mindset is what's wrong with GTA Online players. A perfect example of what NOT to do in heists.

I would stay and complete it, my cut is 0-10% what ever is the lowest cut. :)

I don't mind getting more than 15% cut, nobody ever offered less than that. I rarely do heists with randoms anyway.

As of now, i am not really playing them anymore (lack of financial need, boredom of replaying the 100st time) - but i don't mind any cut, it heavily depends on the team though.

Why are we reviving this thread all the time?

We all got it by now.

40/20/20/20 is a common distribution as it takes into account set-up costs and set up mission payouts.

55/15/15/15 gives more profit to the host and is often used in finales where the crewmembers did not participate in set up missions.

Anything else is less common. Players forfeiting their cut if they feel they already have enough money. The Pacific Standard glitch where the host takes a 0% cut to avoid wasting any cash. Players giving a higher cut to their friends than the random players in the team, etcetera.

People have a different idea of fair, but the two methods I posted here are the most common. If you're not playing with random people, you're usually expected to give 20% to each other player. If you ARE playing with randoms, chances are they'll accept 15% but 20% is always safer. Giving someone less than 15% unless they asked for it sets you up for nothing but failure as people won't likely accept that. Raising the percentage of one or two crewmembers instead of three might have the same effect, even if the third player has a decent cut already. Obviously raising cuts without lowering your own as host causes issues.

For me, 15% is fine for a group of randoms. Because people tend not to invite you for set up missions and then invite you back for the finale, it's extremely rare that I even get the chance to participate in the missions leading up to the ending. I'll go ready shortly after joining and will remain in that status as long as we all get the same cut. If the team is incompetent and we fail too many times, the potential payout doesn't matter anyway. What I usually do is determine an amount of attempts I find appropriate based on the money I'm getting. Usually it's one attempt per 5%.

Less than 15% is something I simply don't do in a group of randoms. Considering the low chance of success in many groups, it's a waste of time and quite frankly insulting. With many players performing far worse than I would on my worst day in GTA:O, I'm not going to bother saving a mission while they divide up 90% amongst themselves.

For premade groups it's always different. Most still assume 20% per crewmember but people often give up their cut to help out the "poorest" player in the team. Unless they're doing a CM challenge run. Anything can happen here.

I parachute to the boat. By the time greedy host arrives there are 5 blinking remotes on the dash of the dinghey. We all sit down and then it's decision time.
