Joined the Humane Labs tonight on call, I keep reading about "finale hoppers" but I can't help that matchmaking chose to send me into that lobby. I've got a mic and asked if any of them did but I got no response.

I sent a message to the host asking for 20%, I told him to give me any task it didn't matter to me. My level is fairly high around 218 but I don't put as much stock into that as some people do, but I also have a high k/d full stats and a empty mental bar which I think should convey the message that I'm a capable mature player.

The host proceeded to lower his cut to 50% and give his friend with an almost identical gamer tag 20%. I waited until there was 2 minutes on the clock and sent him another message politely asking, not demanding 20% explaining why I thought it was fair... Still no response.

As the mission loaded I considered playing it through as he set me to pilot which is an easy task, but I admittedly was not very pleased with being ignored. I tried to ride as a passenger and not one of them would let me in their car, so I waited infront of his apartment. As the arrived they must have taken notice to the fact that I was not there and one of them killed one of the npcs at the chopper to relaunch the mission. It spawned us all infront of the chopper, I don't know why they didn't all quit the lobby right then after seeing I was afk but they restarted it anyway. I was considerably frustrated at their actions so I got in the chopper, piloted infront of the market and jumped out, resulting in mission fail.

At this time one of them left their party and started shouting every obscenity at me that he could think of. The mission restarted again immediately, this time I blew up the npc at which time I was invited to a party where the 3 of them had been all along. They tried to lay into me but at no point was I taking this as seriously as they were so I had a bit of a laugh at them and just stood still as they raged on and on eventually quitting the heist.

I'm not bragging by any means, I don't think what I did was at all cool or impressive and it took no skill to execute. The reason I felt justified was because it would have taken the host five seconds to invite me to the party. At that time they could have explained the reason he didn't want to give me 20%, as I am not an unreasonable person and I would have been fine with 15% had I known they were communicating with each other, we could have easily completed the mission on the first attempt. Instead we all lost about a half hour of our lives and I'm still getting hate mail from them.

You hopped right into a finale and DEMANDED 20%?

How many arseholes do you have?

That's fair enough. If the host is content with giving you 20% and everyone gets on with the heist; then fine, but, when people demand the hosts give them a cut they haven't earned and will go out of their way to ruin the heist for others ... well, all I can say is these people sound very spoilt and childish.

I'm not playing the game to help some random host get rich. Why should i be willing to help them when all they care about is getting a 55-70% cut?

Anyway, so you'll ready up in a random invite to a finale for 15%? Well done. Glad to hear it.

Not sure if you're trolling or just didn't read the text, but to answer your question, no I did not demand anything.

Edit: I did a bit of checking, I'm leaning towards the conclusion that you're not trolling but you're just too dense to understand anything beyond your view of "You didn't do a set up, you don't deserve as much." Based off some of your previous posts you're either greedy or feel incredibly entitled as the host.

I have just noticed that as the host I am making less money than the 3 other players.

Heist set-up = $54'000

Set-up payouts = $52'000 x 5 = $270'000

Heist Finale Payouts.

Host: On 40% = $540'000 - $54'000 = $486'000

3 other players: On 20% = $270'000 + $270'000 = $540'000

Remember this the next time some greedy retard demands 20%.

EDIT: Bollocks to it. I'm setting set-ups to normal/easy from now on.

P.s. Way to be politically correct with that retard remark, you must be so enlightened.

Like the little snowflake commenting just before you, you too are also a demanding money whore. Is being given 15% for a 5 to 10 minute job beyond you? I found myself in a finale today from a random invite, and was given 15%. Readied up. Completed the heist. I'm a few thousand dollars richer. Woe betide the host if you'd turned up.

I don't think I've ever been given a low cut. I've more often seen the host give themselves the lowest, sometimes 0. Once got 50% when I finale hopped.

It depends on the cut, on the person. I might give it a try, but don't bother to play 2nd time if they fail.

I think the people who give out 10% cuts are just delusional. They can't seem to justify their actions other than the tired old rhetoric of "because finale hoppers". Okay, and that matters why? Are they not helping you on the finale the same as everyone else? Did the people on your setups not get a payout worthy of their time? So what else do ya got?

Yet somehow we're greedy for not accepting less than the default cut. It's default for a reason, anything below that is an insult.

I think y'all are just pissed that so many people leave your setups and just assume everyone that does leave is a finale hopper. So out of spite, you exact your revenge on the people you assume have been leaving setups all day by giving them a less than acceptable cut, telling them to suck it up.

In reality, you should realize not everyone leaves setups because of finale hopping. A lot of times, people will leave if you set any setup to a difficulty lower than "hard". I, personally, will also leave any setup that allows players under level 50 to stay (because I don't take chances with lower levels per personal experience). Maybe you're the one who should suck it up and stop generalizing all finale hoppers as having the same situation.

Are you familiar with the word asking, do you know what it means? There's a great difference between asking for something in a mature manner and stating why it's fair and "demanding" which is what you seem to be under the impression I've done. I don't see why you're so worked up about requesting 20%, there's no need to get upset about it. Edited by teagle

Just leave, waste of time. However, if you do the math, for a few of the heists, the host gets robbed if he gives the others more than 15%, once you consider the start up cost and the fact that he doesn't make any money off of the heist set ups, and that he can only payout increments of 5%. and offering others less than 10% is just greedy.

Leaving is not an option. Troll hosts get trolled. The ones who pay a fair price get the job done. 20% is the minimum fair rate for a 4 player heist on hard difficulty. Trolls who want to pay less get trolled without warning. I enjoy seeing you suffer as much as you enjoy getting paid.

If helped with the Fleeca setups and the host tries to pay me 30% for sitting through those setups, I will troll them. Those Fleeca hosts are SO QUICK to start that heist whenever they trap someone in from a quick job heist.

Today, I was doing Series A with a girl and a guy. Both (to me) were randoms but had the same crew tag. The girl was the host.

Anyway, when we got to the finale, the girl set it to 40/20/20/20 and everyone but the guy readied up. The girl then had her cut and gave the guy 25% but at the last second lowered his cut to 20%. Anyway, the girl gave in and gave the guy 25% while she got 35%.

Even though there was a bit of fear of him trolling the heists, I felt more dumbfounded. Seriously? How was he not satisfied with 20%? Neither of them were using mics, but even then I can tell when a crew member is trying to demand a bigger cut. I mean come on. When I do heists with my friends/crew, I take 20% no problem.

Should have seen that coming from a mile away. As long as I get my cut, what they do with their money is their own business.

Technically, the host is NOT robbed because no one is stealing his money. Think of the crew members getting a bonus as a...

"Thank you for filling up my lobby because there are a scheiza ton of hosts compared to crew members. With your help, I can host my heist quicker and I already have a dependable team. Business is business. If there are a LOT of possible employees, but NOT a lot of job openings, the employees should expect crappy wage. If there are a LOT of job openings (gta heist spots), but NOT a lot of people to fill those openings, employees should expect a better wage, especially if those employees are more dependable than others."

If a host can't deal with the crew getting paid more for heists, then the host should become a crew member, if the host is dependable NOT to mess up. Dependable crew members are always helpful AND in DEMAND.

Too Lazy; Didn't Read - Dependable crew members deserve a bonus for helping the host efficiently complete the heist setups. Dependable crew members are hard to find. If I am hosting and I find a dependable crew member, I will always give them 20% for helping with the setups. I may consider 25% for the best of the best crew members. If they are finale hoppers and/or didn't help with setups, they deserve 15%.

A heist is supposed to be done in an order. First the setups, then the finale. So if a crew member did the default setup, he would get the default cut (I will give any participant at least 20%). If you did less than any default setup, I will give you less than default cut.

Sure you troll the host but you also waste the other TWO PLAYER'S TIME, rockstar need to remove time based payouts and put it to the way it was before.

Screw the other players, most of the time the ones that don't leave if the Heist Leader is ripping them off are the ones that are desperate mindless goons. So I don't feel any compassion for them, wasting their precious time chasing the Heist Leader's leftovers.
