CarlsonRe
Hello people, lets post traps in missions which disables 100%. I discovered one; After you unlock Diaz's missions (after Guardian Angels) then finish all of his missions. The missions remaining for Cortez will be replaced with Sir, Yes Sir! And no more 100% for you. Or maybe not, I seen only a C marker. Lethal Vaccine
I didn't know there were ways to complete the Story Missions which prevent you from getting 100% in VC. Lethal Vaccine
Vice City has been out since 2002. I am pretty sure if this was the case about doing a mission which will disable another mission, it would have already been discovered. It was discovered in III quite shortly after it's 2001 release... Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/776448-traps-of-100/#findComment-1067141347 Share on other sites

Only that it would kinda make sense, I was lazy and didnt want to do the Cortez missions (There was still a C on the radar) but I did Diaz missions and those missions were replaced by Sir yes sir and All hands on deck. Lethal Vaccine
All Hands on Deck! sucks to obtain the EC Black Washington. I hated getting that. It took SO many tries... One of the hardest Special Vehicles to obtain VC, that's for sure. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/776448-traps-of-100/#findComment-1067141745 Share on other sites
pangoomis
Umm...OP, I don't understand your logic. After you do Guardian Angels, you unlock 4 Diaz missions. Then, after those missions, and all phone calls you should have Sir, Yes Sir! from Cortez, which unlocks Death Row, which unlocks Rub Out and so on... There is no traps for 100%. Spuds725
There are have been no reported instances where this can occur from a mission completion standpoint-- you can trust me on this-- I've forgotten more about Vice City than most people know. If it has occurred then it was some type of glitch or a bug from restarting the game from the pause menu (like the purple nines bug)... Rockstar games learned their lesson from GTA III-- Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/776448-traps-of-100/#findComment-1067221592 Share on other sites

Rockstar games learned their lesson from GTA III-- Actually im saying something different, I saw still a C on the radar and then I thought ''oh theres another mission for my friend Cortez but I wanna do other ones''. And I did Diaz's missions and I thought ''OMG those missions were replaced by Sir yes sir'' and then I posted this. By the way just one more asset missions and I get to do the final missions! Spuds725
I may be misunderstanding your posts--- This flow chart may help clear up any mission sequencing issues-- realize that it does not distinguish between the Diaz/Cortez missions... they are somewhat intertwined in the mission sequence.... This flowchart shows which missions unlock what following missions (Really need this for GTA V)-- According to the flow chart you MUST complete SIR, YES SIR before you can complete Death Row-- so you may just be at the point that you cannot unlock any story missions until you complete SIR, YES SIR-- I am relatively certain you are not done with Diaz yet. https://web.archive.org/web/20051214143532/http://patrickw.gtagames.nl/dl/vc_sequence.pdf Please note that this was posted here originally by Patrick W. in this thread-- http://gtaforums.com/topic/141458-new-mission-sequence-chart/ His link is now dead but using his URL I was able to find a copy of it on web.archive.org (above link is the archived copy of it) If you think your game is glitched---please read the following--- Can you tell me what you are playing this on-- PC DISK/PC STEAM/MOBILE IOS/MOBILE ANDROID/XBOX/PS2 I have the original PS2 version and the android version I can replay on if you want me to check this-- however it might take me a while to get around to this.... I also have the PC version however I don't use that PC anymore (runs XP and is collecting dust) Can you please upload your save file-- I would like to examine it with a save file editor or a PC Code tool and see what it shows regarding 100% Thanks, Spuds Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/776448-traps-of-100/#findComment-1067223437 Share on other sites

Did PatrickW make one for III, SA, LCS, and VCS as well? I don't think so but it is possible--I'll see if I can figure that out.... The other games are pretty straight forward-- Vice city is the most Non-linear of all the GTAs (because of how the property missions play out)-- so I don't think there is/was much of a need for a flow chart for the other GTAs. //edit// I didn't see any for LCS or VCS-- it is possible he made one for III however several years ago there was a housecleaning of the forums and archived a bunch of old content that was removed-- I don't know if it is stored somewhere currently-- I think that was the plan-- but for some reason-- the VC section was missed-- Never archived (why our content goes back to 2002)-- however the III section only goes back to 2005 now. This is all the archived content from that domain-- I don't see another flow/sequence chart-- looks like some mods are still up there. https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://patrickw.gtagames.nl/* Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/776448-traps-of-100/#findComment-1067250597 Share on other sites

Did PatrickW make one for III, SA, LCS, and VCS as well? I've noticed that some mistakes... It doesn't list the Haitian missions as being a requisite for "Trojan Voodoo", it doesn't list the requisites for the phone assassinations, and I'm pretty sure the bikers' missions are unlocked after "Love Juice". Nice one but actually I dont mean it like that, look how I did it; -Once I completed Guardian Angels, I still see a C on the radar. -I was tired of Cortez and did Diaz ones -I thought that Sir Yes Sir replaced that mission. There are absolutely no missions from Cortez between "Guardian Angels" and "Sir Yes Sir". The glitch is that apparently you were given the option for "Sir Yes Sir" too early (if the C was really showing in your radar - I hope you weren't mistaking it for the phone icon for assassinations or something). I'm relatively certain that the flow chart is correct-- it certainly is worth verifying the Cuban/Haitian mission flows. chapapote
Attempting to enter the pink marker for "Trojan Voodoo" before completing Aunt Poulet's missions definitely gets you a message telling you to go there. The bikers' missions flow would need to be verified, because I've been googling it and information seems inconsistent (GTA Wikia and Grand Theft Wiki talk about "Alloy Wheels of Steel" coming after "Love Juice", with the former even trancribing the phone call that unlocks it in the "Love Juice" page, while WikiGTA says it comes after "Psycho Killer"). I've also noted inconsistency with the requirements for "Check Out at the Check In", with GTA Wikia and WikiGTA saying it comes after "Rub Out" an Grand Theft Wiki saying it comes after "Shakedown". The phone missions is my mistake. I just saw those light gray arrows pointing towards them. It seems my laptop didn't have enough resolution to properly see them, because now I'm on my computer, I can see them perfectly.
