In missions/heists yes. In free roam not as much. Of course this is until R* nerfs all the armored cars and they become a waste of money.

This. It's not designed to take RPG/Sticky hits, but it's about 95% invulnerable to small arms fire. There are places that rounds can get through, so a savvy player could pick you off like people used to do with tank drivers, but NPCs will rarely hit you, making a lot of contact missions really simple.

Armored Kuruma is great for missions, roll up into hostile area with 4 players in your car, shoot out the windows killing everything that moves without losing a single bit of hp.

The Armored Kuruma's speed compared to the regular Kuruma is negligible and it doesn't even matter in a race since there are much faster cars out there however the Armored Kuruma will kick ass in a GTA race and be able to run others off the road with ease.

According to my testing, the Armored Kuruma is faster than an Insurgent in a straight line by ~4 seconds

Insurgent is currently the safest way to travel in freeroam with everyone using their Hydras/Savages/Valkyries now.

Its basically bulletproof but one sticky bomb and that's it. The Insurgent however takes 3 or 4 stickes and rpgs to destroy it. And best of all, it 14 or 18k if someone destroys it.

Sorry i blew up a couple of douchebags in both version insurgents early today, sticky bombs and RPG's and bam, killed 5 people who teamed up on me 4-5 times (25ish kills) and i only died 5 times, i blew up the pv version 2 times, drove up to me i took cover infront of a car and threw 5 sticky bombs, committed suicide and blew it up and killed 4 of those douche's, Insurgent doesn't make you an invincible almighty god amongst men, you're still gonna die. Especially since the windows arent bullet proof. js

Definitely worth it. There is nothing else like it in GTA Online and everyone should have it, IMO. I bought it and the Insurgent today and both impressed me.
