This game needs matchmaking instead of this "invite" sh*t

Seriously. It's so hard to find people for a heist, and it would be way easier if they just matched you with others that were trying to play it as well. As it is now, you only invite the ones who are in your session, and if none of them want to play, you're SOL.

The matchmaking system in this game is disgusting. Really shows how Rockstar are ammeters when it comes to online gameplay.

 

Say what you want about CoD, but atleast you can start the game and be matched up and playing a round in under 5 minutes.

What we need is a server browser/list or job list showing how many people are in a mission. Just like the ones in Battlefield. It saves a lot of time as some people can see you lacked one person to begin a heist and they can join in.

The thing that pisses me off the most is trying to get all my crew members in the same free roam lobby, why the f*ck can't we party up and find a lobby that can fit all of us? I haven't even got to play a single heist yet because of the piss poor servers/matchmaking, when I finally got into a setup everyone kept freezing in the 'getting-into-car' animation...

The matchmaking Is utterly fked at the moment. I try and Join any mode and It attempts to put me In a gang attack, and If I back out I spawn In some random spot underground somewhere.

I spent hours trying to play the prison break heist, mostly just sitting waiting for a fourth person. Heists are a ton of fun but the matchmaking makes me not want to bother. Matchmaking and rookie randoms failing easy objectives.

I agree the matchmaking is sh*t but your statement is completely untrue... it doesnt just invite people in your sessions,,, though oddly it does seem to invite in some weird alphabetical order

The existing match making is getting worse.

If I'm doing jobs with players , who are all crew mates, friends and in a party, then we should all be kept together. It was bad enough when we'd all pick a mission from the screen and be matched up with randoms. Now though if there's 4 of us playing the game will often find a mission lobby with 3 places , so 3 join and 1 gets kicked back into FR. It used to happen occasionally, but now its all the time. Bollocks is what it is.

I agree op, it is fkn hopeless the way it currently works and the solution is common sense so don't expect to see it changed anytime soon, heists are good, really good but the system is retarded.

MW2 came out like what 4 years ago, i can find a match within 10 secs, pretty pathetic R* never fixes big issues

Had issues with this also. Me and my friends aren't always on at the same time and we tend to be one short to start. I posted something on meetups but it got no views. So if you or anyone on xbox one wants to friend up and we can do these heists with no waiting! Also I have a 9-5 job and play on the east coast so usually evenings and weekends Im on. GT EhF ohh17.

Rockstar is hipster, so they ain't gonna do it. They prefer to be different than to be effective.
