So how does one handle the Insurgent Vehicles?

Recommended Posts

Since every single person in every free roam session I go into has one, how to put up with?

They are annoying. Hard to shoot the driver because of the small windows. The driver will do the reverse-shooting cheese on you. Can't even destroy because of its durability and even if you manage to, you get that nice and lovely bad sport.

Passive mode? Nah.

New session? Everybody has them.

Invite only? With whom.

Solo? What.

Don't play at all? Probs.

Just shoot out the driver and gunner it's not hard. Or lay down sticky bomb trap

It probably takes 4-5 stickies (so $2000-2500) plus if you do wreck it, about $17,000 in insurance. So, nearly $20K.

I haven't seen that many at all.

They're the coolest thing added to GTA and people are just going to bitch until they get nerfed. Crybabies ruin everything. I for one have had tons of fun with my crew, driving around with mounted gun version having all out wars with players and cops, my suggestion? Get yourself a crew that will have your back and you'll be the one doing the grieving.

Oh look. The same "I can't destroy this so it needs to be removed" topic.

It's simple though. Out Maneuver/Out Run/Out Smart them.

Just cause you can't handle or deal with twats who own one doesn't mean it should be completely ruined for the rest of us who just like bashing sh*t with it.

Totally agree. Rockstar will take heat from crybabies, and eventually cave and nerf it. I love how the game HAS evolved since the update. It's not March 9th anymore Kamikaze, deal with it.

Explosive cannons tear any armored vehicle to pieces.

Tank shelled me right next to me when I was in my Insurgent. Tank blew itself up, I was just fine. Can the tank wreck an Insurgent? Sure, but it'll take at least a few shells.

I got your back buddy: http://gtaforums.com/topic/681131-gtao-the-official-btch-moan-topic/

OT: don't be such a crybaby please, you have many options:

- Buy one for yourself, so you'll feel safe.

- Be smart, they are marked on the minimap. If you see one, turn around and go away.

- Stock up on stickies, proxy mines, RPGs, basically everything that's explosive.

- Burn your copy of the game, because it's essentially about killing. Ever since the launch FR was a warzone, these vehicles don't change anything, apart from the fact, that you won't be killed right away.

And pleasepleaseplease stop bitching about it, it's the best thing in GTA right now. I had tons of fun playing with it alone today, and I think it's the same for the majority of the players. And I've only seen two so far in FR, so you should be fine.

I haven't come across one in FR yet.... but I haven't unlocked it for myself yet. I assume one needs to complete the finale on the Humane Raid in order to be able to purchase it? And if that is true, then would someone ever so kindly invite me to it? : )

I had some little twosome of homos roll up on me while I was at ammunation with one. Easily killed them both. And then I proceeded to snipe each of them 4 times in a row as they kept trying to run back to it. It was very satisfying

They have better armor than the current tank... if you're not careful it will take multiple strafing runs with a jet to take one out. The Savage is probably the best counter honestly, but if it's a personal vehicle, due to the high insurance cost, weigh the benefit of the one kill vs escaping in a faster vehicle.
