Prison Heist is broken

Any idea when R* will fix the broken Prison Heist? Spent the last three days doing it, different crews, it's broken no matter what. When everyone enters the Velum, everyone gets a wanted level which is IMPOSSIBLE to evade. There are absolutely no helicopters or cops anywhere, but the wanted level doesn't go away at all. It's a glitch that's been around for ages, and it's easy to fix, just exit the vehicle and re-enter.

 

But R* decided to lock everyone into the Velum, leaving absolutely no way to beat this heist and progress. f*cking pathetic. One year of polish my ass. When are R* fixing this?

If your talking about after you get the prisoner. Everyone ahouldnt be in the velum. Actually at no point during this heist ahould everyone be in the velum.

I only have this problem when I'm playing with people who are laggy/have crap internet. This includes losing wanted levels in and out of heists. Once I replaced the people in my group with sh*t internet, we were able to lose the stars pretty instantly.

He literally just described what happens in the mission. What's that got to do with the mission being broken?

You need to fly all the way up with the velum into the yellow circle. then a cutscene will pop up and you parachute to the beach. done

The group of guys I was running with had the same problem. We got through the mission twice but couldn't lose the damn cops! We were getting frustrated, so I went online to look up if others were having this problem. Everyone had the same story as us. You could fly around for 30+ minutes and couldn't lose the cops. What we did was we used a different pilot (same guys, just switched roles) and then we were able to lose the cops on the first try. I don't actually know if switching roles was the reason it worked (I read other threads that said that his would work), but yeah...it's worth a shot. I read that it's just a glitch and switching pilots might work. Good luck man!

For starters you did say everyone gets into the velum. I mean that is saying everyone. Right? I don't know how stupid you or your friends are. So one assumes the worse and figured you four jumped into the velum. Besides how do you know the buzzard pilot can't exit? I rest my case on my assumption. LoL just playing.

 

 

I've completed it twice in two accounts and have zero issues. This was with three different people too. So I'm gonna guess it's as stated above someone's crappy connection.

Sorry, I miss understood you. I have never had this problem and must say its first time hearing about it for me.

 

Hope you find a solution. That would frustrate me too.

Same thing happend to me 3 days in a row with my friends and today it actually worked. Maybe cause other friend of mine played and replaced the other, we switched roles too... i know that feel bro.

It's far from broken. You need to keep one guy in the Buzzard to take down the police choppers. You only need the piolet, the 2 that go into the prision and the Walter White guy in the Velum. The Buzzard guy will take care of the choppers chasing you and you will eventually loose your wanted level. I know the glitch you are meaning but this is not it. This is how the mission is designed.

The heist is NOT completely broken. The wanted level is glitched and harder to lose, but if you're PATIENT, it will go away. Stop ragequitting every time you don't get what you want inside of a minute.

OP - are you keeping one of your guys in the buzzard and have him blow up police choppers on route to the beach? If not this is likely your problem.

It's far from broken. You need to keep one guy in the Buzzard to take down the police choppers. You only need the piolet, the 2 that go into the prision and the Walter White guy in the Velum. The Buzzard guy will take care of the choppers chasing you and you will eventually loose your wanted level. I know the glitch you are meaning but this is not it. This is how the mission is designed.

 

 

far from broken? maybe it has been patched in the last day or something but the last time i did that finale I was the demolition guy/buzzard pilot and we had the same thing. i was flying around for over half an hour shooting down policechoppers untill the velum pilot got fed up and crashed the plane. even when there was no police around the velum didnt seem to be able to lose the stars. ud figure the velum would lose them before me since i was constantly shooting police but no, my stars were gone and yet a couple of seconds later a new police chopper spawned.

I've had this issue in free-roam. The work-around is to get everyone out of the vehicle for a minute. Go land somewhere safe.

Drop off whoever is "stuck" and pick them up once the cops are off them.

I did it fine earlier, picked everyone up from Sandy Shores and lost the cops without being seen.

If it weren't for idiots who dont seem to realize I landed in the middle of the road to pick them up, and drive into the hills trying to evade their wanted level, my only issue with this is that other dummy who parachutes into the buzzard blades at the end

I'm pretty sure this is also about stealth levels of the passengers, but especially the pilot. I'm shocked how low the stealth level is for players near level 100.
