Man, seems noone is playing the new game modes. Can't get even one person to join to try this glitch.

There is absolutely no reason to patch this. There is zero harm, it doesn't give the player any special perks, it's just an outfit. Why they didn't make it purchasable in the first place is beyond me.

Is it a quick job capture? From my experience the start menu capture does not work for this purpose.

New update for XB1, I bet the R* patched it. I was getting on to do it too

no im pretty sure thats just the update they gave ps4 and ps3 yesterday , didnt have anything to do with this issue.....

Omg finally i got it. In the first free roam session of using the cop suit people were actually roleplaying with me and other people for once, im glad someone actually found a way to get this awesome outfit!

Right, I'm the friend of Liam353 and here's the dealio:

 

• Launch Siege Mentality IV
• Classic Outfits
• Me as host and copper
• Kill him, finish the game
• Vote to go to freemode
• Launch Quick Capture via phone

I either spawn into that Capture in a boiler suit of some description, changes every now and then, or my usual outfit. Change my glasses anyway, quit after 20/30 seconds and end up in another session in either the boiler suit or my usual outfit. Tried it at least ten times now.

I just did it on Xbone, first try, using the Seige mentality IV method. Even was placed into a user created capture, "Fight Club" with 5 rounds. Went to Free-Roam, had the baton, hat, radio and everything when I get back.

The police uniform is not complete without owning the hat :-)
