i know..idk whats going on..i have done with a saved outfit on, a saved outfit off..no accessories..LITERALLY EVERYTHING..spawn n reg clothes everytime...sigh

oh yeah before i never was holding a nightstick either..that started today..everytime i spawned into freeroam i was holding one..didnt do anything different.

I only did it the Prison Break; Station way on both of my characters and it worked each time.

All I did was spawn into freemode regularly (wearing my normal clothes), quick jobbed a contact mission, spawned in the cop uni each time.

And also made sure I switched my glasses in the interaction menu. Finished the contact mission (didn't care if I won or lost) and when I went back into freemode, I was still wearing the cop uniform.

I've managed to save both police outfits, one with the hat from Siege Mentality IV and the police outfit from the police station set-up mission. Is there a way to combine these outfits? The one with the hat does not have the combat belt/baton/walkie-talkie but the one from the heist does.

It's not odd.

Both with and without the belt can be gotten from Siege Mentality 4.

He already went back and got the one with the belt.

Me and a buddy just did it the seige mentality IV way, but the way we did it was whoever is the robber just leaves straight away, then the usual capture rigmarole

I am a Platinum Level member at Rockstar, meaning i know what constitutes an offensive glitch. Glitches such as wall glitches, invincibility and car dupes are considered harmful to the dynamic of the game and so are punishable with a suspension of varying degrees based on the amount of times you are caught.

Some glitches that offer no punishment are what i like to call "Passive Glitches". These have included:

Changing your face
Bringing Franklin's Buffalo online (redundant)
Bringing Trevor's Bodhi w/ Raspberry Jam Online
Obtaining Outfits
Bringing Emergency/Utility Vehciles into Garage (Patched) Obviously the tank was a harmful glitch but you can't punish one without punishing all, so it was negligable
Single Player to Multiplayer Car Glitch (SP to MP)
Swing (Gate/Door) glitch

I promise you all, no issues will come of this glitch because it is purely cosmetic. I know the names of everyone who records others and have their gamertags and PSN's too, they too are aware that passive glitches are not a punishable offence. my SocialClub ID at Rockstar is British_Knight.

This sob trick does not like me or my face in the slightest. When you join the random job is it through the pause menu or your phone.

I got the uniform to tranfer over to the capture (using the creator/capture method) but once I exited out of that and started random job (via pause menu) I was wearing my usual gears.

I got the Police Outfit, but can someone please tell me how to get the 2 Construction/Trash Trush Outfits? I started the Heist mission Trash Truck and as soon as it started I went to a new session. Then, brought up my phone and quick jobbed Capture, but after it started I was still in normal clothes. Does it have to be a 2 round capture? or is there any easier way?

It's all a bit hit and miss. It's not an exact science. It might not work straight away or even the 4th or 5th time. Just keep trying

I tried both known methods and each time it worked on the first attempt. Console is PS3.

On my first try, I did original method via Prison Break heist setup mission.

I finished the mission (don't bail out on people!), returned to freemode (not in police outfit, don't panic), and proceeded to enter a capture mode game via phone. Once in capture game, I was back in the police outfit. Finished the capture completely (our side won too!), returned to freemode, changed glasses and promptly saved outfit at a store.

Note the Prison Break method does not include the police hat. The utility belt is included, at least on my attempt.

Read through some more resources regarding the alternate method and tried to obtain the police outfit, again, this time with a hat. I have read that sometimes the Seige Mentality IV method does not always come with the utility belt.

Did this method and it worked on the first attempt:

Start Siege Mentality IV.
If you are on the Hold Out side, you are dressed as thug.
If on Attackers Side, you wear the police uniform.
If you start as Attackers, start a new session from the Online menu to return to Freemode and proceed to 4.
Depending on which side you begin with, if you start as Hold Out, die or kill yourself to begin the second round.
Begin second round as attackers in the police uniform. Finish the Siege Mentality game as Attackers and choose to Return to Freemode.
In Freemode, you won't be in the police outfit. Don't panic.
Play Contact Mission via phone.
Once in Contact Mission (you should be in the police outfit now) change glasses and proceed to Ammunation.
Look at shoes or gear, edit saved outfits, save current outfit to a slot

Ok if this still works for ps3, I'm willing to paypal $25. The BIG problem I get is Im from Canada and connecting to other players is hard for me, now imagine starting up a capture and getting that going?

Is the prisoner outfit only obtainable via the final prison break heist?

Here is my method i used for getting the Cop and garbage outfit.

1. Play Siege mentality IV (for cop) play as Cop

2. Find a new session (no need to wait for 30 seconds or the saving circle)

Random luck I think lol. Anyway, I started the heist with that outfit and as soon as the directions on the bottom of the screen appeared I switched to new session. Then, I appeared in my shower, so I exited it and brought up phone and quick jobbed Capture. From what I've seen (not 100% sure though), how long it takes to get into a Capture determines if it will work cause first 2 times I had to wait a while, whereas this time was only 2-3 minutes of waiting. Trying as I type this, I've waited 20 and half minutes! Stupid host thinks he can get 30 people in one session. Just gonna get disconnected anyway. Hope this waiting pays off cause it's hard getting people to join heist set-ups.

Just a quick question, if I were to do this the Siege Mentality way, can I remove the hat? Because I feel that is probably the easier way to do it and I can do it without pissing people off. I just don't like the police hat

I'm so f*cking sick of trying to get this, not because its not working, because this game and the people who play it are broken.

Stop putting me in matches where the host refuses to start or kicks people from the lobby. Stop putting me in matches where the host is On Call. Stop giving me this "Null x/32" crap when I'm trying to quick join a contact mission. Stop putting people in my match that instantly quit as soon as I launch Seige Mentality IV that causes it to kick me out into freeroam.

On the like TWO occasions I haven't gotten past the trials of getting stupid people properly start SMIV, a Capture and a Contact mission it doesn't f*cking work and I have normal clothes.

I have officially gotten the LSPD Outfit, Trash Outfit (T-Shirt), and Trash Outfit (Hoodie). Also, I found a workaround for those who get stuck waiting for the host to start Quick Jobbed Capture. All you have to do is walk into your apartment/garage and it'll search for a new Capture. Also, it is random whether it will work or not, but just like anything you have to try and try again.

LSPD Outfit:

1. Go to Prison Break - Station.

2. Start on the Cop Team.

3. As soon as the directions appear at the bottom of the screen, press Start > Online > Find New Session.

4. You'll reappear in Free-Roam without the outfit.

5a. Bring up your phone and go to Quick Job > Play Capture.

5b. If the host doesn't start the Capture just walk into your apartment/garage to search for a new Capture.

6. Once the host starts the Capture and you get to the last "ready up" screen you will not be wearing the outfit.

7a. After the Capture has begun you should be wearing the LSPD Outfit.

7b. If you did not spawn with the outfit on and it's a 1 round Capture, then just start back at step 1.

7c. If you did not spawn with the outfit on and it's a 2 round Capture, then finish the 1st round.

8a. If you got step 7a, then hold Select/Touch Pad and go to Inventory > Accessories > Glasses and change glasses a few times during the Capture.

8b. If you got step 7c, once you get to the 2nd round you should be in the outfit. Change your glasses and wait for the orange save circle (or 15-20 seconds).

9a. If you have step 8a done, just vote "Free Mode" when the Capture is over and go to the nearest clothing store to save it.

9b. If you have step 8b done, press Start and go to Online > Find New Session. Now just go to the nearest clothing store and save it.

Trash Collector Outfits:
1. Go to Series A - Trash Truck.
2. Start on either team and choose which outfit you want.
3. As soon as the directions appear at the bottom of the screen, press Start > Online > Find New Session.
4. You'll reappear in Free-Roam without the outfit.
5a. Bring up your phone and go to Quick Job > Play Capture.

i got my police uniform using the siege mentality and capture method also got the hold out clothes using this method. The first attempt failed due to the capture i was joining failed due to the host leaving, so when i got to free roam i joined another capture straight away but i didn't spawn in it wearing the

police uniform i was in the standard clothes for the capture, I changed glasses anyway before leaving it and spawned in free roam wearing the capture clothes instead so still got some free clothes
