How to obtain the Police Outfit

I'm not sure if this helpful, or just stating the obvious, but after days of frustration I finally got it to work.

I tried using various above methods, but I never got it to work. During these failures the first slot in Saved Outfits was very 'busy', and by that I mean it included a hat, glasses, gloves, and other accessories.

The next time I tried, I made a simple outfit in the first slot of Saved Outfits consisting of just a shirt, shorts, and shoes.

I got the police uniform the very first time I tried once the first slot in my Saved Outfits was just basic clothes.

This worked on the first try

That's good to hear, glad it worked first try. :^:

Method below if anyone else wants to give it a go.

1.) I put on an outfit with just a shirt, pants, and shoes. No glasses, hats, masks, watches, chains, anything.

Again, I don't know why it would matter, but just in case, I went with orange work pants, white tank top, and white work boots.

2.) I saved this as one of my outfits.

3.) I had someone host Siege Mentality IV.

4.) I had them start as the cop, and me as the other guy. Then 20 seconds into the mission I jumped to my death, causing me to lose the first round, and it to start again with us on opposite sides.

5.) I then started as the cop, I put on the armor visual (since glasses and masks aren't options), and had the other person quit out (find a new session.) Then I voted for new session on the next job screen.

6.) Once in a new session I put on the saved outfit. I was already wearing this outfit, so nothing really changed, but it didn't seem to work with this step skipped, so while wearing the shirt/pants/shoes outfit, I opened the list of outfits and pressed X "putting on" the outfit I was already wearing.

7.) I opened the phone and hit quick job, contact mission. All the other guides suggested captures, but they can take like 30 minutes to fill up and start, I've had much better luck with contact missions.

8.) When the job started I was in the mission wearing the outfit. I changed my glasses. Just to be safe I was going to hit a clothes store, but they're closed. Ammunations are open though, and at that shirt rack on the wall you can edit/save outfits. I saved the cop uniform over the crap outfit I made just to try this (the white tank/orange work pants/prisoner outfit), then just to be safe I saved it again.

Edit: Obtained

Method:

1) Start Siege Mentality IV

2) During team selection, other person leaves the game (Police team member stays)

Or other person dies in mission. Doesnt matter, as long as you win.

3) Quick join contact mission

4) Go to Ammu-Nation and save your police outfit

Just a heads up ppl, this method works perfectly, plain and simple.

If ur having difficulty with hosting the siege mentality or joining a quick job other than mirror park gang attack, switch from assisted aim to free aim from single player mode, then return to the free aim lobby online and follow these steps. I figured out that the quick job problem is exclusive to assisted aim.

Good luck ppl.

Thats cuz his method where the other guy leaves doesnt work consistantly. He needs to die so you can win and the game saves.

no offense bro...but you are WAY over complicating it...lol I was wearing a Frankenstein mask and Rockstar created outfit and got the cop uniform in like 10 minutes. Just joined Siege Mentality IV, quit a few seconds into round 2. Started quick job...quit...had police uniform on. Saved it in my closet in my apartment. Edited by SouthWestPayDay

Anyone know if the quick contact mission work with the trash outfit? If this was answered already, sorry didn't want to look through the last 15 pages I missed.

Is the prisoner outfit only obtainable via the final prison break heist?

Here is my method i used for getting the Cop and garbage outfit.

1. Play Siege mentality IV (for cop) play as Cop

2. Find a new session (no need to wait for 30 seconds or the saving circle)

2a. when starting in robber outfit, simply jump off the rooftop and find New session after second round started

3. In free Roam Start Editor and create a capture (RAID)

4. Create and test it - Select Team one (in selection screen you are wearing normal outfit)

5. When spawning inside the capture you wear the Cop outfit.

6. Find a new session

7. In free roam you still wear normal outfit

8. Quick join a contact mission. When a Gang attack is shown in the right corner, simply select quick join contact mission sgain

9. Inside the mission you will spawn with Cop outfit

10. Go to Ammunation ans save the outfit or If no Ammunation is open, change glasses several times.

11. Finish Job or find a new session and you have the outfit in free Roam.

For the garbage outfit play Hasta la Vista i and select themed clothes and there the garbage uniform. Finish the Mission, vote for free Roam and follow the the method above starting with point 3.

If you have trouble being the host, just simply finish the adversary match once and mark it. When starting a marked mission you will be always the host.

The step with the creator works for me all the time. Unfortuntely you can not open the quick menu while testing the capture.

This step is also a good indicator If the outfit is transported into other game modes property.

Once you have the Cop outfit in the created capture you simply need a quick contact mission, which is not a big deal instead of joining a random capture.

If someone got problems so far to obtain the outfit, just give it a try ;)

If you do not spawn in the desired outfit in your created capture, try switching teams - If this does not work, you have to start with point 1.

As i mentioned, the additional steps are good for indicating If you are on the right way.

Good luck.

Does anyone know if the saved outfit will transfer to the next gen console if done on the 360/PS3? I know that it should, but the fact that it's a glitch makes me nervous that it won't for some reason.

Worst case: do it again, which takes 10-15 min.

Got nothing to lose

Are there any ways to get it on last gen that DON'T require having high speed internet that DOESN'T lag you and kick you off of live or boot you from sessions every f*cking chance it gets?

Got it to work finally. This is an absolute bastard of a glitch when it doesn't work.

I kept getting kicked by randoms from contact missions for no reason and also retarded hosts wouldn't start the capture.

Outfits are definitely transferred when moving to next gen!

I had two saved (one with hat, mask and glasses) before transferring to PS4. Those are available on PS4 aswell :)

Same like modded cars or Bikes - transferred 100%!
