How to obtain the Police Outfit

after 2 days of trying, I think it's safe to say it just won't work for me.

either I don't spawn in the outfit, players kick me from the contact mission, I get kicked to SP or numerous other BS scenarios or keep joining this new contact mission called "Mirror Park Gang Attack." Congrats to the ppl that have gotten it, cherish those outfits. ;_;

Actually get people to RP along about 60% of the time, I'm impressed! Had a great off road Dukes O Hazzard style high speed chase through Blaine County with a random earlier ending in a pistols only shoot out. Helped a guy out in LS by killing both of his attackers then just rolled off in my cop car like a NPC.

Made it a mini-challenge to only attack players who are actively killing others. Try to pit maneuver any speeding chrome Zentoro I see. Made my quota for today already that's for sure.

 

Of course there is still that 40% that'll just kill you just for walking/driving by. Must be scared of the po-po.

Too much fun over all though especially because heists are so hard to get going right now on PS3. Get a lot of people dropping connection and such.

I got the police uniform yesterday and one of the trash outfits (there are 2 versions) today without trying for it.

 

Make sure your starting outfit has no hats, glasses, masks, or other headgear and is not a Rockstar-created Outfit or flight suit.

Start (Siege Mentality IV, Trash Truck, Station or Prison Break finale) and get your desired uniform.

 

For SM4, let the clock run out on any/all rounds. Don't win by killing or lose by dying.

For the heist missions, make some other player leave/disconnect.

 

When you respawn (in your regular clothes) in freeroam open your phone and Quickjob>Contact Mission.

Not all missions work but Rooftop Rumble and Trash Talk did for me.

If it works, you'll start the contact mission wearing the costume. Get to the nearest Ammunation and save the outfit. You don't have to bother with changing glasses to try to save.

 

Now that you can see what mission you're going to join, I don't know if starting the search over before you're joined in the mission it first found for you will cancel the outfit you're trying to get.

Another problem is dying in freeroam while waiting for a Contact mission. I'm guessing that would probably cancel the outfit as well.

Hahah more times than not any Zentorno I've come across has been either a blazing blue or chrome. I ran into two just today alone.

ok so I just did it twice, exactly according to steps and it didn't work. what I noticed is that an autosave triggered after I went back to free roam. guessing that stops it from working...oh well I got it on my male character, wanted it on my female too but at least I got one.

1.) I put on an outfit with just a shirt, pants, and shoes. No glasses, hats, masks, watches, chains, anything.

Again, I don't know why it would matter, but just in case, I went with orange work pants, white tank top, and white work boots.

2.) I saved this as one of my outfits.

3.) I had someone host Siege Mentality IV.

4.) I had them start as the cop, and me as the other guy. Then 20 seconds into the mission I jumped to my death, causing me to lose the first round, and it to start again with us on opposite sides.

5.) I then started as the cop, I put on the armor visual (since glasses and masks aren't options), and had the other person quit out (find a new session.) Then I voted for new session on the next job screen.

6.) Once in a new session I put on the saved outfit. I was already wearing this outfit, so nothing really changed, but it didn't seem to work with this step skipped, so while wearing the shirt/pants/shoes outfit, I opened the list of outfits and pressed X "putting on" the outfit I was already wearing.

7.) I opened the phone and hit quick job, contact mission. All the other guides suggested captures, but they can take like 30 minutes to fill up and start, I've had much better luck with contact missions.

8.) When the job started I was in the mission wearing the outfit. I changed my glasses. Just to be safe I was going to hit a clothes store, but they're closed. Ammunations are open though, and at that shirt rack on the wall you can edit/save outfits. I saved the cop uniform over the crap outfit I made just to try this (the white tank/orange work pants/prisoner outfit), then just to be safe I saved it again.
