How to obtain the Police Outfit

quik tip! (ps3)

 

- if the host isnt starting the quick start capture

- if youre tired of waiting (takin tooo loooooong)

- if the capture is RP/$ BS

- if you think that the capture is patched

 

simple solution:

- hit up dpad > quick job > play capture (until you think its one that works)

- do the same method (team:1 switch glasses etc)

First thing; set spawn to apartment, not "last location". This will help when spawning in to find capture, and will help when you finish and need to save the outfit.

 

1. Grab a friend

2. Launch Adversary mode - Siege Mentality 4

2a. 1 round... outfits; classic

3. Invite friend to match

4. Ensure you're on cops team

 

5. When it loads in, do nothing. Just wander around lower level

6. Around 3:05, you'll see orange circle save animation

7. Start > Find New Session

 

Now the fun part...

 

8. Once loaded into freemode, you should be in your apt

9. Bring up phone and quick mission > Capture

9a. If it's 1 round and you're on team 2, back out and try again

9b. If it's 2 rounds and yer on team 2? Wait for 2nd round

10. If you're on Team 1... wait for match to start.(you should spawn in wearing cop outfit)

 

11. Once round starts, change glasses... wait 10 sec

12. Change glasses again, wait 10 secs

13. Start > Find new session

 

14. You should now be in your apt.

15. Go to wardrobe and save the outfit

 

 

 

 

voila! it should work perfectly fine. i just didnthe exact same thing i posted (2 character) because i was waiing for 10+mins. second capture was BS/RP. last and final was CONTEND BANK FIGHT nd it worked perfectly. if im not mistaken the first one i did for my main character was CONTEND CONDIMINIUM.

 

*i did the siege mentality iv*

*1 round as justice/cops*

*won both the games -- not sure if that matters*

*was lucky enough to be on TEAM 1 both times*

not sure how many times i've tried it today, but i've been at it for around 5 hours and have never spawned in a capture with the outfit

made sure i was in team 1 and left the adversary match at around 3 min

kept spawning with my free mode outfit that i always wear

guess the game just doesn't want me to have it

I feel ya man. Same story here. Tried several methods. Niothing seems to work.

 

Just know that when you are in the start up for capture, it might show you are wearing your regular cloths but when you start playing you will be in the police outfit.

I'm just saying, don't assume it didn't work if you don't see it in the capture start up. In your case, I guess it didn't work. Too bad its not that easy for everyone.

the capture must be set to two rounds you must complete one round before leaving you start the second round of the capture in the cop uni.

STOP JOINING RANDOM CAPTURES......

 

 

Get a friend to help. You only need two people for crying out loud.

 

After hosting siege mentallity iv you and your friend will return to free mode.

Have your friend host the capture job with matchmaking set to OPEN TWO ROUNDS...have them tell you which one they started

join a random capture from your phone, keep joining from the phone until the capture your friend set up shows up

When your friend sees your name in the lobby as on call tell them to start the match he can kick everyone til you join.

complete one capture round you don't have to win, you should start round two in the uni wait 30 sconds find a new session and go save your outfit.

 

 

 

 

I got three cop unis and the garbage collector using this SIMPLE method.

Its not connection issues. Joining a friend by a very random chance is pointless to even try.

You can save all the outfits from the adversary modes. You just need to know which team to be on to get certain outfits

Yeah, I saved it but after switching sessions, the Bugstar emblem disappeared

You keep getting into TEAM 2, this is luck based part of it.

 

Good news, you still have the outfit till you get to TEAM 1, so keep trying.

 

Secondly, someone said that a quick job contact mission works without the need to be in TEAM 1 or 2, so maybe try that?

anyone heard about that you can get the outfit without using capture instead you can load a quick job contact misson?

and I wonder if you can get the prisoner outfit that way.

If that really works than damnnn, makes it much easier..

It does indeed work and makes it immensely easier! No more spawning in the crook outfit. Tested and confirmed on PS3 just about 20 minutes ago with my second character.

so same steps just not capture involved? example if I'm wearing prison outfit I just quit to fInd new session then quick contact job?

 

Exactly, though I can only vouch for the Police Uniform + Hat given by Siege Mentality IV. I would imagine it would work the same for the other outfits too, seeing as they use a similar method, but I haven't bothered to try.

Here is what I did.

1)Started Siege Mentality IV as host

2)Set it to first to win 1 Round (bit of a risk but..)

3)Started the game once only one other person joined

4)Convinced the Hold Out to jump to his death I just said "bby please! JUMP! I beg you!"

5)Voted for freemode

From there I simply followed the video:

6)Start a contact mission directly from your phone. I landed with one other guy running the mission where you have to collect the four cars in the allotted time. He was host.

7)If done correctly until this point you will spawn into the mission wearing the police uniform.

8)Changed sunglasses a ton of times.

9)Somehow actually won the mission (with ten seconds to spare). I really don't know if win/loss matters but I would at least try for a win.

10)Vote freeroam after mission ends

11)Head to the nearest clothing store to save your outfit

12)Drive to the Mission Row police station and RP your heart out

I look at it as being a novelty item just something extra to have. I tried getting it with friends last night which was an adventure in its own right.

 

Me, I am not too concerned with it because it would be cool to me for about 5 minutes, then I'd be over it but that's just me, IMO this outfit is not worth the hassle lol
