How to obtain the Police Outfit

I wouldn't mind if Rockstar made the outfit buyable for $100k or so.

Just obtained the outfit using the Heist method

I hosted the heist

What I did:

Started the mission

Drove my PV

Waited until the guy stopped yib yabbin about what to do

Start > Online > find new session (Places you in a public free roam holding the baton)

Pull up phone > quick job > Join Capture > Yes (wait to join capture)

Join saying ("host" launched job)

Quickly mashed ready up disregarding buying armour or ammo

Joined capture in police outfit

Won the capture

Did not vote to like/dislike

Voted to freeroam (joined public session)

spawned with cop outfit

so you didn't complete the heist set up?

 

Did you join any capture and can you do it alone?

Just got the prisoner outfit from the prison break heist.. unfortunately no handcuffs (like when you get off the bus)

Heist was interrupted by network error,and i was sent to SP. Loaded capture when back online and it still stuck.

 

 

Do with that as you will.

It won't let me choose the heist setup mission. Keeps saying for me to do the actual heist. Ive completed every setup and heist as a host already too.

You can just make the prison outfit. It is orange work pants with a white tank top.

Its taking absolutely forever to join capture. It wants like 16-30 people to join. wtf?

That happened to me a lot but one time I got in the capture in 15 seconds and that's when it worked

If the capture doesn't start within a couple minutes, I try to join a new one. Also, if the number of people gets down to 1, that means you are the host and have no way to launch, so if you ever see 1 for people added, just start a new one.

It does indeed work and makes it immensely easier! No more spawning in the crook outfit. Tested and confirmed on PS3 just about 20 minutes ago with my second character.

it's best to do it with someone else

 

the host always starts attackers, set it to one round. One person gets it then the other person hosts and gets for themselves.

Host Siege Mentallity yourself invite a friend

start as the attacker

pick the justice clothing option

you will start as the cop

wait 30 seconds and find a new session

when you enter the new session do a random contact mission from your phone. Either eat a couple grenades or finish the mission

select freeroam from the voting screen and you should spawn with the uniform go to a clothing store and save it.

 

 

You do not have to play the entire siege match or even one round.

not sure how many times i've tried it today, but i've been at it for around 5 hours and have never spawned in a capture with the outfit

made sure i was in team 1 and left the adversary match at around 3 min

kept spawning with my free mode outfit that i always wear

guess the game just doesn't want me to have it

I feel ya man. Same story here. Tried several methods. Niothing seems to work.

 

Just know that when you are in the start up for capture, it might show you are wearing your regular cloths but when you start playing you will be in the police outfit.

I'm just saying, don't assume it didn't work if you don't see it in the capture start up. In your case, I guess it didn't work. Too bad its not that easy for everyone.
