Yes, this is a glitch, but whatever cause I wanted to share how to do it for those who want to obtain the police outfit. Mainly cause it makes no sense as to why it isn't available to buy in free roam

There is absolutely no reason to patch this. There is zero harm, it doesn't give the player any special perks, it's just an outfit. Why they didn't make it purchasable in the first place is beyond me.

Does this work with the trash outfit you come dressed as in A Series Funding-Trash Truck? I had no luck waiting for someone to invite me for the setup.

Supposedly it does although I haven't tried it yet.

I probably know more about this than some people here but how do you equip just the hat at the store?

More about what?

 

Anyway, just change everything except the hat, and you'll be wearing the hat. Simple?

You can also play Hasta la vista 1 to get the outfit. It's in themed.

Tried it a 1000 times. Both the heist setup and advisary way. Never spawn in the capture with the police OR robber uniform. Doesnt work anymore?!

Oilpolie, does your freemode character have any masks, gloves, or headgear? I heard those can mess up with it

I just wanna say I just got the outfit for my other character through the Prison Break Setup method without any issue.

 

Just so you're aware that it's still possible.

Guys you need to have patience and don't just back out of missions expecting it to work. You need to complete the round in Siege Mentality IV as a cop and leave right at the start of the second round using Start<Find New Session. You then quick join a capture (quick job) and DON'T PANIC AND BACK OUT if you aren't a cop the 1st round, still change your glasses and wait for the next round where you should be a cop.From there you quit the capture if you know there's more than 2 rounds for you to win (If you don't win the first 2 rounds then bail out)

After that you should spawn in free roam as a cop

Those instructions didn't work for me, try my method and like I said, I didn't spawn in the first time with the suit and was pissed like you but I stuck around for round 2 and there it was!

I finally got it. After quitting the police job, I searched for a capture, found one almost instantly. It was a modded capture with UFOs, and zombies with tazers lol and it was in German to top it off, so I switched glasses each round. After it was over, everyone quickly restarted, so I quit, and spawned in a lobby with the police uniform on. Saved it. THE JOY.

You dont have to win. At least I didnt. Im on PS3.

Don't just wait until 320,sometimes it takes longer wait til you see the orange save circle before you leave,
