yesterday while i was waiting for players to join my prison breakout finale, i had a player jjoin who was obviously a squeaker because he had a squeaky voice and he was giggling, so i kicked him out.

have you had a squeaker try o join your heist and you kick him out??

I'd say your post is half on point.

You're right about how we been kids too at some point, and back in our young days, online gaming wasn't nearly as big as it is today, specially on consoles, or in a whole immersion of the mode.

 

It's quite likely we would be squeakers if all the technology available today was available at our time, I mean can you really blame the kid for acting stupid? I'm pretty sure we all did stupid things in our kid days, just we didn't had access to the internet to spread it worldwide.

 

But the other half, meh, a bit of bullying isn't the end of the world.

The real point is this mean girl bullsh*t in the gaming community. A novice cannot become a master if all the masters are dipsh*ts. Who are they to learn from? The higher than thou attitude separates us in society and even on even playing fields in the online community where only your voice gives away your age and not your maturity or ideals. It's pathetic and signifies a low level of human relationship which could otherwise be enriched by a shared learning experience.

Alot of the kids on gta are years away from adolescence/puberty.

They shouldn't be on gta in the first place, neither should they be talking to complete strangers online over a mic.

I only play heists with crew members, but if I were in an open lobby of course I wouldn't kick a 15 year old just because of his voice.

Some at 15 are more mature than others at 18-20.

However if it were an 8 year old that would join then yes I would kick, precisely because of what I said above.

and i would simply argue that if parents are gonna buy a game for their kid that they shouldnt be playing, and that kid gets abused while theyre playing because of their age, then its no one's fault but the parents

 

if im gonna be a dick to someone who is 12 years old and playing GTA online, well, then whoever has let that 12 year old play should be thinking about what theyre allowing their kid to play, not what their kid is meeting online after theyve allowed it, it doesnt quite work like that
