nobody buys gta to learn another language.

Like I said in the Locations Wishlist, a foreign country would mean either everyone speaking with an annoying foreign accent or unrealistically sounding American, which would ruin the realism (and the prior, my ears.) Also, countries other than the US all have guns almost completely banned and the police don`t carry guns in many countries. You could not walk past a cop open carrying an AR-15 in Great Britain or anywhere on Earth other than in America. America has the fastest cars and the best highways and the most diverse scenery of all countries on Earth, from cold to warm climates and from mountains to deserts to tropical beaches, from the villas and McMansions of Beverly Hills to the ghettos of Detroit. USA all the way baby!

But yeah, a GTA set in Liechtenstein or Moldova would be the bees knees.

Its a great way to learn another language. Like you press the X button you'll see it in english so what ever you enter that building you'll know what it says.

It's not R* responsibility to teach you a new language there is a thing for that...

Russian cops have guns

See? And so do Mexican cops

ROFL Sorry but I`m NOT impressed. They don`t look intimidating in the least. None the less than Guilermo over there! And the Russians look dead from malnutrition.

Your only real options are America and western Europe to stick with the cops n' crooks theme of the game.

Many countries have a rather tenuous idea of what "crime and punishment" is.

I'd love to see Niko's bare ass caned for a one star crime in South America.

Well I had no gripes with Sleeping Dogs' rendition of Hong Kong and I thought the international setting gave it a good vibe. Sorta unpredictable. I for one believe GTA is mainly an American game map wise and it shouldn't leave yet, but I wouldn't object to it, if they did decide to go down that route. They mentioned the Troubles in GTA IV a lot, maybe have a game set in Ireland.

A modern day Russia would be interesting. Would be cool to see some political influence in a GTA game, with Russia's ongoing situation with Ukraine and all.

I can imagine a lot of folks are against politics in the next GTA game, considering how IV and V handled them.

Well, I'd think some secretive Russian spy op or whatever would be a more interesting branch of government than say, FIB Los Santos Division.

Perhaps they could bust an Agent nut all over it and take some of the concept ideas from that, if they exist.

Yep, those damn spics are useless...Thet pull you over just to take your money...Which is why I'm never driving here...

OT: I do want a GTA in Mexico...Maybe a city modeled after Tijuana...But the problem is that it's too close to the border to make any sense...So maybe Culiacan, or some other sh*t...

No one would understand even half of the jokes, so they'd have to splash "69" everywhere for people to get a cheap laugh without knowing the language.
