Why aren't heists done in the free roam environment?

I once thought this would be cool. It would have opened up opportunities to steal the rewards...unfortunately it would have turned into an unplayable clusterf*ck, be thankful Rockstar didn't decide to do this.

Why doesn't the Yatch spawn in freeroam every weekend, why is the aircraft carrier not in freeroam spawning ai hydras when you get a 5 star wanted level, why can I only enter that one bar during the finale of the first heist, why am I still typing...

For the fleeca job, yes.

Exactly as it is for the tutorial, but we can do it on the fly

*edit

Or maybe a lester activity & couple it with the distraction activity.

aaah that would give me a reason to destroy my tank in front of fleeca bank and stay around in passive so the destroyed tank wont despawn!

blockade the entrance of the garage so you cant steal the kuruma.

camp around the police station to kill you as you try to steal the documents from the police station for the prison break.

Because of people like me.

I'd spend my days near the bridge at Fort Zancudo. Me and my trusty homing launcher (homie) would ensure that no-one would ever progress past the Fleeca Bank heist.

or....or... sit at the prison until they retrieve the bus, get a one star wanted level and follow the bus....they'd never lose their wanted level.

But opening up the fleeca banks for mini freeroam heists would be cool. Ok only glorified shop robberies, but all the same.

As I said earlier, couple it with lester's distraction activity it could be fun. (oops I said the f word)

one day it 'll come.

all jobs will take place in free roam, next to the other players. every race, every mission, heist etc.

it'll just need bigger servers, and a perfect system for not being able to troll in any way.

and only one heist of each can be done of course...

BUT probably not within the next decades.

LMFAOO!

prestonchan

well , trolls can crash your heist or KSing you

haha, KS, remind me for those days in high pass hold in everyquest

They should have made some free roam mini heists for sure much like store robberies but more heat.

we had store robberies for 1.5 years.......

if you want more heat, just shot the guy after you get the money.

did you actually played the game?

Yeah, just imagine the trolls.

Why is there a blockade in front of the bank doors?

no sh*t right?

"go to target vehicle and steal it"

*troll puts sticky bomb on target vehicle and waits, players enter vehicle, BOOM! heist failed.*

yeah i think you should be able to rob tellers at the fleeca banks for ~ $25k or so in free roam. instant 3-4 star wanted level and if you don't get away from the cops in a certain amount of time, the money bag blows up or something.
