What the hell is going on?!

God this heists is all fked up. It started with the series a finale heist. Some people left and it took me back to free mode, I was leader, then Lester calls me telling me good job completing it. So now I didn't get the money or unlocks for it.

 

Lester calls me again for the pacific standard job and I get matched up with noobs who don't know how to do it, they end up leaving, I get out back in free mode. Now it says I did all the heists!!! What the hell, now I can't do anymore heists and I can only replay up to humane labs when I call Lester. Furthermore, my all in one challenge progress resetted and the money I put upfront to start the heists are gone! I can't unlock the Apache, and all the other vehicles in those last 2 heists either!

 

God dammit, this really pissed me off...

He's not just bitching and moaning for the sake of it, this is a legit problem and he's looking for input. The same thing just happened to me, I fronted the 40k to do the prison heist, got all the set ups complete and had the heist fail because of the buzzard pilot at the end, then I get that same fall from Lester. No cash for all the set ups I did or for the final score.

I'd rather have that happen man. I just lost progress on 2 full heists and 10 setup missions.

 

I can only replay back to the beginning of humane labs and since it glitched and said I completed all the heists, I don't think I'll get a call for series a funding once I complete the humane labs again since it is a replay. I'm basically screwed...

That's bad luck man. But hoping they "burn in hell"? I'm thinking you've maybe stayed indoors a bit too long, that your perception on reality is a little bit skewed that you'd like a bunch of people to die horribly and continually in a searing engulfment of flame until the end of time because... your console game got a little broken?

 

I bet there's a forest with ALL your ex-girlfriends buried in it someplace huh?

I kinda feel bad for R*.. You know they worked really hard making everything and put tons of effort into it, all while being heavily pressured by the community to release the DLC and they finally release it just to have more bugs and glitches come up. I hope people can understand how frustrating that can be for them and that it's obviously not some cakewalk creating and programming all this.

 

I'm sure the last thing they need to see is being told to burn in hell for trying really hard on something.. just give it time and see it as a beta phase for mass testing. I'm just glad we have something new to do, I couldn't care less about the money honestly I just have fun playing them.

Yeah I apologize. I was just really mad. I'm just afraid of them never fixing it and I'll never be able to unlock that savage or replay the series a or pacific standard again. But I hope they don't overlook it. Just really sucks.

Use the forum! There's a Find A Meetup section where you can find like-minded players. I've yet to get a high-end apartment so I haven't hosted a heist but if my money was on the line I wouldn't even try a heist with randoms. Unpredictable. Unreliable. I remember I used to be pissed when I would use a motorcycle to drive to mission points and would get rammed and die quickly shortly after hitting the ground. I would not play but get free money or they would all fail and I'd only wasted time. Now? You can waste time AND lots of money with the same crowd that runs into you if you're riding a motorcycle.

I don't understand this forum. They use it to bitch about randoms when they can easily not play with randoms. There's a whole section dedicated to find buddies.

Sufficed it to say, there are a lot of annoyances/problems with the way Heists have been implemented...

 

I am finding it easier just to select a Set-Up Mission/Heist from Invites and do it. I struggle to find Player's to Join when I am Hosting.

Good luck with that; I "ticketed" R* Support about the losing in-use body armor bug (happens anytime you enter GTAO or change sessions), as well as the bug of transparent color in crew emblems rendering as white a long time ago, and they've done diddly-squat to fix either.

Yeah it hasn't happened to me, but to a host in a small group i played with. Lagged him out at the end of a set-up mission, and wiped the entire afternoons progress and jacked up his board and Lester calls.

 

I really hope they find some way to fix this up. Too much time/frustration involved just to have it go up in smoke for no reason.

You guys are all missing the most important point, that there is an Apache to unlock and this guy is the only one who knows about it! I can't wait to have the Savage, Valkyrie AND Apache...

If you are able to complete a heist with someone else as the leader, you should still get the unlocks. I unlocked the Karuma before I even played heists as a leader simply by joining other heists.

This exact same thing just happened with me but after failing the finale of the final heist (the final bank). This is incredibly annoying - it was a complete struggle to get that far, and everything is lost withouth any payout. Who can I report it too, and has anyone resolved this?
