Your first Console...

Recommended Posts

A Taiwanese NES knockoff called Dendy. All the same hardware as NES, minus the DRM chip, so it was able to run bootleg cartridges.

First console I remember was probably the Sega Mega Drive which my parents bought in the late 80s. We also had another japanese console at that time but I have no idea what it was.

First console that was actually mine was a Game Boy which I got in 1990/1, thereabouts

Was introduced to gaming through my Dad's old ZX Spectrum and Commodore systems.

If handheld consoles count then a Gameboy was the first.

First proper console we had was a Mega Drive, although I also did plenty of gaming on an Amiga around that time.

First console I personally owned was a PS1.
