I think I messed up the All in Order Challenge.

I was trying to do this in order and see all the cutscenes, but when I got to the Prison Break finale I just couldn't get a good group at my crib to complete it with. So I figured I'd join somebody else's Prison Break finale and complete it that way. Now that I've beat it, that is still the only mission available at my crib and it says if I want to play it I will lose the All in Order Challenge.

 

So if I want to continue with that challenge, I guess I have to join other people for the rest of it because Lester will never call me again until I beat it while I'm hosting? The thing is, I don't even know what to do next because Lester won't tell me and the odds of me finding people to do it all in order with are slim. Lame. Any way around this or a way to start over doing them all from my own crib? I don't understand this achievement, it seems like you have to host every part. If that's true how do I restart?

Yup, did the same thing and lost my challenge. Pretty silly if you ask me but it isn't that bad. You just have one full heist to play.

 

What I want to know is if we can still complete the challenge on our second accounts.

So nobody knows if there's a way to restart from the beginning? I'm not that far into it so I'd rather restart if possible. I didn't realize you don't get every cutscene unless you're hosting.

Does anyone know a fix for this? I'm on the Human Labs heist set up but when I go to heist board it takes me to host the actual heist, not the rest of the set up missions. I don't want to go along with it and skip the set up missions if it might mess up this all in order challenge for me.

Well personally, I have no desire to go for it again anytime soon after I've done all the heists. I'm having enough problems getting through these heists with randoms and all the glitches. I'd rather get it out of the way the first time.

Yes you can restart the hosting of it. Call Lester and ask for a heist. It will give you options based on the heists you've already completed. Start with the Fleeca one.

Everything that I played was "in order", but I had to go back and forth between being the leader and being a hired thug. Whenever I hosted my own job, it was the next one in order that I hadn't hosted yet. I haven't even played two of the five setups for the Humane Labs Raid at all, but I have done the finale for it as a hired guy. After that, I expected to host the first setup for it, but it's giving me the finale.

Everything that I played was "in order", but I had to go back and forth between being the leader and being a hired thug. Well, I went ahead and played it even though it was making me host the finale. Might just be a glitch in how it's presented because after I started it, it took me to do the set up mission I left off on.

If you do a mission out of order you break the all in order bonus. To reset simoly go back and redo flecca and it resets

I am wondering too. I've been leader of all 4 heists. But one the prison break heist I did the setups out of order. Did the second set up first then the first. It gave me an option to do that.

 

I never got a notification I would lose my award for doing that though.

Cancel any Heist you have from Lester right now (if you have been a Heists Leader) by giving him a Call (you will just lose any Set-up fee). Then Call Lester again and request to Replay a Heist and choose the Flecca Job. More or less you are cancelling your Progress as Heists Leader and requesting to start from the first Heist again in order to reset your progress.

 

All the Issues with getting Randoms to Join (could be matchmaking could be Job saturation) is just going to drive casuals away from the game again as it makes it difficult to do Heists in any coherent order. Even with a Crew the majority of people can probably not commit 2 - 3 hours in a row to complete a Heist and if they are a Crew Member and the Leader leaves, goodbye Progress.

Thanks, that's cleared a few things up, tbh right now I think I may just play randomly and join other people's heists just to unlock the vehicles etc.

 

Unless I can find a good team to start at the Flecca job again which probably ain't gonna happen.

Yep, I went and played it as well, and it indeed was the setup.

I am having the same issue. So now I have to restart? Rockstar can't get sh$t right. I have completed 3 of the 4 Prison Break missions. I haven't been paid for any of them. I completed Wet Works but wasn't the leader, finished platinum on two occasions and it said I won $19000, never received the money. Now I can't even host wet works on my own without it erroring out.

I think it works in this way:

 

If you haven't started the first heist as a leader, you can participate on any future heist setups.

 

If you start the set up for a heist, you can participate in any setup missions for that heist as a hired gun, regardless of order, without messing up your progress as leader (in regards to the 1 million bonus).

 

If you complete the actual heist (final mission for heist), as a host or hired gun, then you can't go back to that heist without losing the chance at a million.

 

I'm not sure and will test this out. I finished the Prison Break heist as a hired gun last night, although I had 2 setup missions left as a host. I thought it would be ok, since I never got a progress warning for this and played many of these Prison Break heists as a hired gun.

 

I attempted to do a Prison Break heist setup as host and got the warning message, so I didn't start it. I guess I'm stuck there for now.

 

I am going to try and complete all future heists as a hired gun to see if I get the million for doing them in order. Then I will try to go back to the 2nd heist that I'm stuck on or restart from the beginning.

 

I'll report back after finishing all remaining heists as a hired gun, unless someone has figured it out first.
