Honestly they need to slow down on GTA V because we need RDR

Recommended Posts

Actually, both Rockstar San Diego and Rockstar North worked on both Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto V - just take a look at the credits. Plus, Grand Theft Auto V is Rockstar Games' main focus along with GTA Online right now, so I wouldn't expect a third installment in the Red Dead series anytime soon. Also, Red Dead Redemption is still an amazing game, and I'd rather they take their time to release a new Red Dead game, because I think Rockstar San Diego has to work really hard to make something better than Red Dead Redemption.

Different studios bro. GTA V's lifecycle has no effect on any possible sequel to RDR, or any game for that matter.

I would agree, except R* never overlaps their releases.

The very last bit of content for GTA IV was released on April 13, 2010, and RDR released May 18, 2010. The last content for RDR released on October 11, 2011, and MP3 released May 15, 2012. The last content for MP3 released January 22, 2013, and GTA V released September 17, 2013.

You also have to consider all the major R* studios work on all the major releases. I agree GTA V probably doesn't have any major affect on the development of RDR's sequel, but the actual release probably won't happen until they're done with GTA V.

^ yeah, I figured that. I think it might be different this time anyways, because R* has been talking about how they want to keep adding to GTA V for awhile. They'll probably keep updating GTA V even after they release their next non-GTA game.

I have a feeling that the next RDR might be their largest, most ambitious open world within a western setting called RDR:O.

NO PLEASE GOD NO.

Chromed horses would look very ugly, to say the least.

With profits like that, they might be doing something with red dead but gtav will be with us for a while. Not to mention PC release still to come. They had to wait a year and a half. But still. More profit to come.

People seem to forget that gaming companies such as Ubisoft and :r*: have difference teams for difference games.

So just because they are doing DLC for GTA V doesn't mean there isn't another team working on Agent and RDR.

GTA 5 - Online mainly game with a story mode for players that still enjoy it.

RDR - Singleplayer mainly game with a small Online mode.

Close this thread.

Actually RDR Online is still very popular, You'd know that if you actually played it

I would like to see a Max Payne 4 first but whatever.

We just had a new max payne few years ago it's been longer than that since we've had RDR.

Even as much as i liked MP3, We don't need another one at the moment the current one is still very active
