Vapid Guardian or HVY Insurgent (SUV)

Has anyone used both and can tell me which one is better (include price in this, what you get for what you pay). Initially, wanted to get both but after flying the Hydra, I decided that I wanted it.

Don't be silly. The insurgent has a mounted gun on it whereas the guardian is just a typical vehicle similar to the sand king and has no special features.

It's the natural order of them.

 

Armored Insurgent and Insurgent are safe to 3 rockets of tank. Normal vehicules just one.

Armored Insurgent has a heavy machine gun on the roof.

I just finished the humane lab heist and unlocked the insurgent and made it my PV. After owning the guardin on since the first day I say buy an insurgent.

 

1)It's more bad ass looking

2)it's classified as off-road, the guardian as Industrial

3)It's better offroad

4)it takes 3-5 stickies to destroy, while the guardian is destroyed with one

I own the guardian and am planning on owning the insurgent. I still don't know many perks to the insurgent, but the badass thing about the guardian is it's a 6 passenger truck where players can also stand in the bed without falling out. So you could have a badass police chase with someone shooting homing missiles from the back (particularly useful during the prison setups)

I don't know about performance as I haven't tried the Guardian but the Insurgent is pretty quick upgraded. I haven't regretted buying it at all, it's so cool.

I'd only get the Guardian if you're on a tight budget and/or like the way it looks.

-Both Insurgents are in Off-Road category, but only the unarmed one is a garage vehicle.

-Both the Guardian and the Insurgent seat 6, but the Guardian seats the last two passengers in the back while they hang off the sides on the Insurgent.

-The Guardian is quicker and has better ground clearance, but the Insurgent provides more protection, and is way more resilient (i.e. can withstand multiple explosions).

 

Bottom line:

Guardian = superior performance.

Insurgent = superior protection.

 

IMO, they're both worth it.

I think the Dubsta is the better off-roader, but the Guardian has to be the superior passenger vehicle.

I was disappointed that the insurgent is only RWD, however it is still awesome. I have both as I couldn't decide betwen the two of them.

The Guardian feels wrong. It should have a different center of gravity and more stopping power

I haven't bought the Insurgent so I can't really testify for it but the Guardian is more of a novelty piece. It's a big truck, great offroad (maybe better than the Sandking but doesn't have the same suspension clearance/fun as the Sandking). Climbs hills easily, REAL easy. The side fuel tanks might be an issue but they never got in my way when offroading so it's only visuals if it's bothering you. Can become a city truck by going from real high to real low with suspension changes. Has the same ground clearance as a lowered car if you pick the last suspension, seriously.

I'm not the type to get into conflicts much so the armored fact doesn't apply to me. If you're the type to chase trouble then get the armored truck but if you're more relaxed and enjoy trucks you should pick the Guardian. I do plan on getting the Insurgent so I recommend you try them out in Content Creator or ask a friend to try theirs out.

Agreed to above: Guardian should have dualies (4 wheels in total in the back) and more mass. As far as I know the 6x6 Dubsta is still the best choice for ramming cars and keep going. The Guardian stops dead in its track. R* seriously need to add mass to vehicles. If I'm in the Guardian going full speed and ram a car in front of me that's also rolling but slower (highway speed), it should be pushed out of the way, not make me go to their same speed and then to a halt due to them braking. E=MC² , yo.

Worth remembering, the unarmed Insurgent has performance upgrades, like any other PV, which the Pegasus version doesn't have. Fully upgraded, it knocks spots off the Guardian - and that's before you thrown in the added armour for protection AND ramming power.

In other words: Guardian's comparable to both Sandkings, if a bit beefier than the XL. Meanwhile, the Insurgent is like a more powerful Dubsta 6x6 with tank armour. Put like that, I'd go for the Insurgent, hands down.
