DESCRIPTION:

I like the idea of remaking old games to make them more beautiful and also giving some improvments to them.As far as i know Grand Theft Auto:San Andreas is still popular game and have many followers around the world. So i get an idea to create a modyfication refreshing this oldman. But also keeping the R* vision.

WHAT IT CHANGES:

Fresh Andreas make some cosmetic changes to the game world by replacing models and textures.

Damn, that looks good! Now it's starting to look like an actual gun/surplus store, whatever you're going for.

Looks decent - looking forward to see more progress, however it's a very ambitious project. I don't know if you're aware of that or not, but San Andreas has extremally big map and refreshing it all alone will take ages.

So far, Ammunation looks okayish, but it's only interior, also I'd call it still work in progress. Isn't it too early to actually show your project to the community? I mean, you've changed only a dozen of textures, and yet, there's few minor mapping problems I've found on your screenshots. Like those:

Sure, they're all very easy to fix, but it takes precious time. The devil is in the details.

Also, what you can notice is, the flags and banners above shelves weren't changed (mostly). I completely understand how much time and effort remaking them would cost, but come on, there's already plenty of SA mods that aim to retexture the entire game and their devs ignore more comples materials. How's you project any different at this point?

I'm not saying it's bad or anything, but you have a great opportunity to learn on someone else's mistakes. Look what R* did wrong (mapping stuff) and what other mods do not feature. Use this knowledge to create something that noone's ever done. We've all seen new floors, walls and roads, mainly because they're relatively easy to recreate and there's plenty of reference materials on the internet.

Your textures are decent, fit San Andreas' atmosphere and style, but so far, it's nothing really new. Another retexture to choose.

Anyways, good luck and don't give up!
