Kill Frenzy!
I played all the games. Max Payne 2 The Fall of Max Payne was the best. I played Max Payne 3 too, but never played Multiplayer. I really hope R* at some point makes a rework for Max Payne 1 and 2.
BUT THE BENZ
^remakes of 1 and 2 will never happen. also, you should at least give multiplayer a try because that's where Max Payne 3 is seriously shining, even though the single player campaign itself is unmatched to this day when it comes to third person shooters. in multiplayer though the gameplay gets so fast and intense, I have only seen that kind of action in unreal tournament or quake. it is VERY competitive and as a payout totally satisfying when you're having a run. cp1dell
Too bad the modding community never jumped on Max Payne 3. I know it has Iron Wrapper or something, but I'm sure if there was enough interest in it, people could get around it. Anyways, I'm sure if the modding scene for MP3 was somewhat popular, we'd have some sort of ports/total conversion mods that recreate the first two games in MP3. Tali vas Normandy
I'm so f*cked. I'm level 46 and the MP on 360 is just about dead. The dumb level 50 achievement is the last one I need to. Ruin and Mister Pink
cp1dell
Can't you earn experience for MP through Arcade mode, and New York Minute mode? And if you have it, you might be able to get XP by doing solo sessions of Dead Men Walking. Tali vas Normandy

I'll try that this weekend. as of new your minute, that sounds like it would take forever. although another New York hardcore minute run sounds like fun right now. Alpha Demigod
Hey guys, I played Max Payne 3 and loved it. But I've heard Max Payne 1 has a great story and I'm a huge sucker for games with good stories. I'm thinking of getting Max Payne 1 and playing through it. Does anyone have any tips for me playing the game in 2015? Any mods you would reccomend to help the game overcome it's age? (new gun sounds, new animations, texture packs, total conversions, etc.) Any tips would be great, thanks in advance.

Craigsters
geesh this game don't let up and give you a chance to save between chapters, I tried to save and exit and only the pause screen ever comes up, I'm at the end up chapter IV and got tired of playing, it went to Max's hotel room and I'd thought I'd be able to save and exit, but nooooo chapter V is forced upon you, so I did ctrl+alt+delete and exited the game from task manager, stupid fragin R* I'm playing MP3 on the PC and have all the packs and dlc's for it from steam Edited July 6, 2015 by Craigsters "You don't understand! Craigsters
I noticed 4 layout choices in the games menu to choose from for the Xbox 360 controller for windows, I left it on the first one and hard lock aim seem's to be the best and I got used to aiming at bad guys and not the ceiling and floor when I first started out!.. I wish the subtitles would translate the foreign language in the game to English and not the spoken dialog Owe I bought the game in November, 21st, 2012 at steam and had bought both Max Payne 3 and the Season Pass for $44.98 USD owe I have the max payne bundle pack too, it was $4.98 USD Edited July 7, 2015 by Craigsters "You don't understand! swirler
I actually went thru MP1 and 2 just a few weeks ago, played 3 a couple of years ago. MP1 has not aged well! Minor spoiler Thanks to iOS walkthru vids (^^), there was one level where you had to shoot a rock or something beyond a fence to get a truck to move in order to progress - I never would have seen that!! MP2 was a lot of fun, every aspect of the game had improvements, from movement, to gun sounds, physics, level size and complexity. It was VERY short tho, Im usually a bit sluggish completing things, but I think I did it in a single sitting! Loved MP3, probably the most, but I am a sucker for some pretty XD (EDIT: If you are wondering why Im not using my pain pills, I have a weird thing of seeing how long I can go without using them, then pump them when I come across a cabinet and Im capped) Edited July 7, 2015 by swirler Th3MaN1, ClaudeSpeed1911 and Payne Killer

Craigsters
I got through all the chapters of MP3 and finished the game, man way to much shooting in that game "You don't understand! Th3MaN1
I got through all the chapters of MP3 and finished the game, man way to much shooting in that game Well, that's the point. It was always a shooter. And a damn good f*cking one. To this day, as far as third-person shooting goes, Max Payne 3 is the pinnacle of it. swirler, 98 in 1, BUT THE BENZ and 2 others
Th3MaN1
Okay, sorry for the double post, but I thought I would share something with you people. I guess most fans know that we didn't get the entire soundtrack of the game. There's many of them that we can hear during levels, but the official soundtrack doesn't contain everything. Here's an example: This is what the official soundtrack has. Since I've got some free time, I decided to extract the tracks from the game myself, and do this: ClaudeSpeed1911, Craigsters and Payne Killer
BUT THE BENZ
^ indeed th3man! it's all about the gunplay really, besides the ambitious drama that is told. every single bullet counts, seeing it fly in slow motion is just breathtaking. MP3 will be the best TPS and stay untouched for quite some while, and it's already 3 years old or so....maybe when the next Red Dead title releases. not sure though. MP3 to me is like gunplay and combat movement perfection, nearly there really...that fast-paced shooting frenzy online is just madness, adrenaline rush garantueed edit: awesome job with the missing soundtrack, bookmark'd! Shane_Dbns
Still don't know why R* didn't use the awesome Free aim mechanics in GTA V. Hopefully they use it in the new Red dead game and GTA 6. ClaudeSpeed1911
That Panama chapter was really awesome, the way it unfolds sends a chill through my spine! If only we could get a remake of the whole series with Max Payne 3 mechanics and a single player dead man walking mode for every multiplayer maps in the game, would definitely get me to buy a gaming PC or a PS4 if they made it only next gen.
