Spider-Vice Posted April 7 Share Posted April 7 The forced cutscenes were kinda because the Xbox 360's disc drive was slow and the game had 2 discs, unfortunately it was pretty much hardcoded so even on PC with faster storage you'd have to endure quite a while of "Still Loading" even though it wasn't loading anymore. Absolutely love the cinematographic direction in MP3 too tho. Ironic to say this, of course, as this is a remake and not an original project, but it is what it is. Well-made third person shooters are as good as dead in today's industry. Lemoyne outlaw Posted April 7 Share Posted April 7 i am excited about this. i loved max payne 3. i only played the first max payne. but i only got about a quarter or so into the game. i think it was when i had the first nightmare with the baby crying and stuff. it was an interesting game. but because it was so old and outdated i got bored and stopped playing it. but if this is gonna be like the mafia 1 remake with better physics and controls. i will probably get this. i have no problem waiting a few years for this because i still don't have a ps5. so hopefully by the time this comes out the ps5 will be in stores. it would be nice if they added max payne 3. make it a full trilogy. they don't have to remake that. just put it on current gen consoles. as for max payne 4. even if they are done with max. they could still do more with the series. i always thought a sequel playing as passos and following his life with giovanna and his kid. maybe there is some kind of trouble he gets into and has to fight to protect his family or something. i would love to see them continue the series in some way. Edward RDRIII Posted April 8 Share Posted April 8 I think what made Max Payne 3 not feel so dark was the setting, especially for brazilian players such as myself, me and my cousin spent more time laughing of the enemies' cringy swears in our language than anything else lol, but it's a cool ass game regardless, I just wish we could use throwables on Story Mode too, we can only toss grenades and such on Online Mode. She's known and I was surprised when I saw the name but it was an odd choice for a game fully set in Brazil.
