Is 25% too much to ask for a high level?

to be honest beyond lvl 170 you aren't really bringing any more to the table..... by 170ish you know the weapons you know the ways to evade cops hack terminals open a safe, drive and fly effectively, strategise and think on your feet to beat the game. The heists are just varieties on the same mini game formats drilling boxes, circuit board faffing on phones and the rest are just the bones of glorified missions redressed... anything above a fair split across the team is really just ego driven ......it's just a game......maybe see it as an opportunity to assist your fellow gamer of lower levels to obtain funds to acquire something cool that you no doubt already have - just an idea

I'm lev 187, I host and I always go 25% for everyone ; I do heists for unlocks/fun. I'm not rich (currently sitting at around 2mill) but I'm not going to let my greed get in way. If I really need cash I'll just grind missions.

Your logic makes absolutely 0 sense, you claim you're rich yet you're complaining about payouts in a heist. Just buy some f**cking shark cards and be done with it! I also find it complexly idiot and child like to go out of your way to sabotage a heist because you didn't get "fair pay" (aw boohoo, lvl 500 mercenary girl didn't get her cut) when you probably could have found a heist leader willing to negotiate in that time. Let me tell you something, the heist leader has to pay for that sh*t, deal with the stupidity of randoms, deal with the sh*t servers, and then after hours of NO PAY, some ungrateful greedy little sh*t comes in (who probably finale hops, ooh we should make that a term) and starts demanding money. I say you take your damn 15% and like it because you wouldn't even get more than 20% if you had been with me from set up #1.

The thing is, op is spoiled. Even if they are "rich", they feel entitled to higher payouts.

I tell you for a "retired" person, she started this thread, caught heat about it, and hasn't came back. High level mostly means they have no life ( if they got it legit ) So why are you op? Probably swiming in her money valut?

Spoiled I am, rich ppl are. You must be a jealous 9 to 5 worker who hate rich ppl.

Heat? What heat? I did came back, I've give a few likes just didnt have the time to read all the pages.

I'm not like you, I don't spend 24H a day on this forum. I got better things to do.

Chloro, with all I've read from you, you just won the moron of the week award.

its not the topic for this, but i've seen people comment saying the pilot role takes no skill so should not get a higher cut in prison break. and while i can agree that the skill floor is veeeery low, the skill ceiling is also qquite high. the heist can go so much quicker with a really skilled pilot who can land the plane literally right outside the front door of the prison the SECOND the ground team walk(drive) out. i like to use that little feild to the right (going into the prison) of the road before the first gate. its so close to the prison that i've had ground crews just drive right past me cause they didnt expect me to be there.

op came in here looking for pats on the back instead got owned by the truth sayers

LOL If by "truth sayers" you mean morons then yes.

You are not very bright aren't you?

I don't like to be touched. I'd love to say another thing but I won't.

You're the one who need a "pat on the back" not me.

With 4 players, everyone should be getting at least 20%-25%. Anyone who says otherwise is a greedy asshole, so no. It's the fair amount to ask.

Something like 50, then yeah that's a bit too much.

You clearly have never been leader.

As a heist member you get paid 20-30k for each setup mission, and 2-3k even if it fails. As the leader you get paid nothing. By the time you reach the final heist that means the leader will be down a minimum of 100-150k to the other members depending on which heist you are doing. In addition to this the leader also pays the 40-100k fee for hosting the heist, meaning the other members will have up towards a 250k advantage on him. Furthermore, regardless of peoples lvl as the leader you can never fully trust whether people will stay in till the end, or they will leave for something else and you will be stuck there in a lobby waiting for people to show up for another few hours.

This is why the leader gets paid significantly more then the other members by default, and why your comment calling anyone who takes more then 25% for themselves a greedy asshole completely ridiculous, to the point where you should really just burn your keyboard as a preventive measure to keep yourself from ever writing such a moronic statement ever again.

25% is a ton for most heists. The leader likes to normally be able to make a significant amount of money, considering he needs to invest a ton of money for the heist (to the GTA community).. Not everyones a millionaire, I'd say most don't even have 500k in their bank. I'd say 40% for the host and 20% for everyone else is good.

If you feel as if you're gonna sh*t on everyone else's time because you didn't get 25%, go bug your friends instead of randoms.

And yes, crashing that plane is a dick move. You should have just left when he refused to pay instead of wasting time for everyone on the team.

It appears as if such. I'd rather do a heist with a level 50 that has a special carbine then self entitled assholes who throw a fit whenever they don't get money, despite being tremendously rich already. Most people 300< act like they are elite gods and think that they have twice as much "experience" and "skill" and demand a lot more then a modest low level. Jesus..

You flew the plane into the ocean? So instead of being the bigger person you screw everyone over. Thats all I need to know, says alot about your character, good luck...

I say it's quite fair that op gets a bigger cut. Professionals are difficult to come across in this game. They should honestly have a higher price. Im a pro too (trained by the finest of the GTAF Official crew and by myself) but I don't go flying planes into the ocean to f*ck up the heist. Hell. If anything I don't want my pro pilot image ruined. My pilot or my gunman image that is. I almost never get wasted doing any of those.

As this is a gaming forum, I'm not even going to touch that ignorant "9 to 5 worker" line. I'm just going to suggest you get over yourself and leave it at that.

But I must ask, if you don't need the money, why be a bitch about not getting your 25%?

You're contradicting yourself.

If the OP is sooooooo rich, why does she need to make a choice on a new console?

I make it real simple.

I've completed all heists. I will put you in the role I believe will lead to the mission being successful. You will follow the plan. You will get paid 20% of the final cut. If you want to complain, you know where the door is. And you can enjoy your "successful" Heists with randoms.

On a side note, people really do amaze me. For Heists we need to work together as a team and follow the plan. I've already completely them all and am pretty damn good at all aspects of this game. Listening to me and following the game plan means we have the greatest chance of succeeding. But for someone reason, I was labeled as "bossy" when I posted this looking for another member or two. How is expecting people to listen to me and follow the game plan on Heists I'm hosting being "bossy"? I just don't get. These are not missions, you can't just run in like a chicken with there head cut off. You need a plan, you need a leader, and you need team work.

Rank shouldn't matter. Whatever is even with the host paying for the upfront costs is what you should get.

40/20/20/20

And even then the Leader gets less then the Crew, but with being locked to multiples of 5, it's the best that can be done.

lol wat does high rank have to do with anything? there's absolutely no benefit or disadvantage to playing with someone who is a high level

tbh, i think if its a 4man crew, leader should get 40, everyone else get 20

i took 15% twice yesterday because i was just trying to help and it was fun, easy money

Hmm, she can't read? I said I know rich people ( I work for them ) and I also said they aren't spoiled people because they worked for their money. I'm far from jealous of "rich" people. I'd never want to be a person such as yourself. I don't spend 24/7 on the forum, more like 12/7. You have better things to do, right. Your rank says it all, that all you do is play GTA. So try to put down others, why? Oh that's right that's what silver spoon babies do. You're complaining about the % you got, what does that mean sweetie?

You are such a dense person and you really need to grow up.

Either she is role playing too hard and really thinks she is Amanda or she just got her wealth after the consoles released? Haha. I'm going to go with the role playing. People like them really need reality and stop pretending. Hardly anyone "retires" in their 30's and assumes they'll be rich till the day they die. They keep working till the day they die, just like us 9 to 5 workers ( the real people that matter in this world )

Balancing the RP against $ payouts could have been an easy solution to this whole payout fiasco. By balancing RP/$, I mean, any time $ is adjusted on the heist setup screen a coinciding meter displaying the RP payout would go up and down accordingly. Still, giving the leader the option for a better payday without completely screwing everyone else in the process.

I was thinking this earlier while waiting, f o r e v e r, for players to join my heist lobby, to no avail. Maybe more people would be prone to assist in a heist if there were a counterbalance for leaders not paying a high enough %.

I actually paid the person helping me 60% in the Fleeca job, it's the unlocks I'm after, not so much the money. I've completed a majority of my unlocks by helping with other's heists, for the most part they've paid out fairly, ...for the most part.

You make good money, you're not "rich". Rich people can buy anything they want.

I've been playing GTA for almost 20 years ( yeah sice it came out ) that means the scale should be moved into my favor? Come on people think. Unless you're being sarcastic as hell.

I completed Prison Break with my crew last night. I deposited 40k and didn't make about 25k on setup missions, so I tweaked the percentages so that I got my 160k and everyone else got the rest.

Got to be fair, no point people being dicks about it. When Heists first released, I joined a random lobby full of Yanks who had headsets. They equalled it out so they all got 30% and tried to give me 10% because "I was a high level and didn't need it" - I got into the prison and blew up the getaway vehicle. No one f*cks with my payout like a dick.

I always offer to have the lowest amount in my crew because I don't need the money, but no you don't deserve 25% when you're getting money from all the setups and the host isn't. The host should always have the most at the end regardless of how good you claim to be.
