Is 25% too much to ask for a high level?

Your logic is flawed from the start. How DO you judge a good player without some baseline ranking system? You assume that most high-level has glitched/modded/whatevered their way up the ladder. Sure some have (lvl 8000's bitch please) but that's just because of what you read on the forum. I stand by my previous scenario. If I had a pool of level 400-500s and a lvl 30 to choose from for a heist, who gets the boot? It's just logic.

Haha, from the start because I disagree? So in your eyes I'm a sh*t player because of my "low" rank? I don't judge players till I uh play with them. Anyways this is pointless, you see things your way, I see them realistically.

Try to keep up. I'm talking about judging players BEFORE you've played with them. And yes, until I've played with you, if you're a rank 30, you're a rookie and I don't want you on my heists. Why is that hard to grasp?

Keeping up isn't the problem, it's judgemental people such as yourself that is the problem. So level 30 is a rookie to you huh? You know there are players out there that don't care about leveling up. This is my point to you that you can't grasp onto. So keep thinking your higher level has a meaning and holds value because it doesn't.

So zero chances to lose with you but you purposely fly a plane in the water? So you think because you're good, you deserve more? Front up your money next time and be the host, you'll have nothing to lose.

Um...no, you wanna be the host, you pay for your progress, money is worthless.

If you wanna try with ppl who suck, good luck!

To your first question, I said why, learn to read.

If money is worthless then why f*ck up the mission on purpose because you didn't get the amount of money you wanted?

If you don't like your percentage then leave before the mission starts. It's simple really.

how to not be an asshole during heists:

-Don't argue about your cut or role. If you ask for a larger cut/different role and the leader doesn't comply, leave.

-Don't sabotage the mission because of your cut/role.

-Never set it to anything other than leader style choice.

-Never set a camera lock.

-The only acceptable cuts are 60/40 or 40/20/20/20. If you want to give crew more, fine. If you want to give yourself more, eat a dick.

none of these are relevant when playing with friends, by the way

I wont even be asking for a cut if im leader.. im just trying to unlock everything. If your level 600+ why are you trippin over 5%? Assuming you didnt rp glitch you should have plenty of cash to work with. Im 156 at 22m with pretty much every pegasus vehicle, all supers maxed etc.. only thing i buy is ammo. No way im gonna fail the mission over what, 100k max?

I've seen people at level 500+ suck ass, so I wouldn't give two sh*ts that you have a high level one way or the other.

I'd probably offer you 20%, or however high I could go to keep it fairly balanced and make back my buy in. If you played in the set ups extremely good, maybe I'd go 25% because I was impressed with your skills.

However, your story makes me think I should just boot high level players who feel entitled.

This reminds me of when I was playing as my second character who at the time was rank 46. Some rank 100+ was saying stuff like "what a noob". He checked my K/D ratio and his tone changed. (Either way K/D is not important to me). Then he checked my crew rank which was 250 something and literally said "this guy must be good". He actually apologised to me, haha! I texted him back saying "Don't judge a book by its cover". As he was a kid, he didn't have a f*cking clue what it meant... :/

Don't judge a video game by the cover, am I right? Haha. But yeah this happens so often. I have a friend who is level 66. I said to him I'll help you level up. He was like nah, I'm good where I'm at. To me anything over 140 is just pointless. It's a pissing contest at that point.

I agree, I'm rank 230 and I'm ranking up for the sake of it. If Rockstar actually added high rank achievements, then at least you'd be ranking up for a reason.

25% is not too much to ask for if you're a huge benefit to the team.

However I think that 40% cut should be the absolute minimum for the leader, I'd go a little higher even because at 40-20-20-20 the leader still gets less total cash when you factor in the cost of heist setup and everyone bar the leader getting paid for setup missions.

What should happen is the teams cut being decided after the heist, that way the worst player could get 15% and the best 25%, which leaves 40% for the leader and 20% for the other guy.

Im going to have to disagree with most of you.....I dont know, i guess just most of you have failed at math or in reasoning.

Lets take humane raid as an example:

Pay out is 675k

Heists setup cost is ~55k

Heist prep mission payout for non-leaders is 25k

At 50% for leader, thats about 337.5k. Take away the setup cost, ----> ~280k for heist leader

The other crew members get 125k from the 5 setups in total.

At 15% for 2 heist members, its 226k each. For the 20% member, its about 260k.

At 50/20/15/15, i think thats very fair. Its as close to equal as you can get. Hell, 55% for leader and 15% for the others would work well too. For this specific heist, if you go below 50, you begin to, not only earn less than 2 of the players but you must also "play favorites" between your crew members/friends. With 1 player getting 5% more, you can alternate between the other 2 remaining players for the following heists.

Ive noticed that with each heist, with the better payout heists, the correct/perfect percentage cuts changes drastically. As payouts --> 0, the lower the cut can be for the heist leader and higher for the other players. As payout values ----> infinity, the higher the cut has to be for the heist leader and lower for the other crew members to make it equal and reasonable. This way, will allow all players to get very very similar $ totals at the end of the heist. The heist leader will only make a little bit more only but that small, minute $ gap could be quickly filled by the other crew members by doing 2 heist setup missions or 2 trashtalks....

Not wading through six pages of entitled kids who think being 150+ makes them the glorious masterrace of Online, so I'll just answer the OP's post:

No. I'm nearly level 160 and join random heists for the good times and item unlocks. Don't really give a crap as long as my pay is at least above 30 grand. I'm not paying for heist set up, so it's no skin off my teeth.

that would be a better way to go however there would be folks that took 100% takeand laughed their ass off after the heist

i think 40-20-20-20 is fair for every one involved

Oh FFS. Missed my point completely again.

I'll go slowly this time.

If I've never played with you, I have no idea what you bring to the table. I will not risk having a lower level on a heist if I can pick from higher levels. (How you read "higher level master race" into that, I'll never know). And guess what: I do have lower level on heists because I'VE PLAYED WITH THEM BEFORE AND KNOW THEM (bolded to enhance comprehension).

Repeating again, I play with lower level people all-the-time. I was a lower level too. We all start at the bottom. I think it's precious that you cherish not having a higher level but if you play, guess what... it goes up. Crazy, huh?

Reading is fun-duh-mental.

Don't try to belittle me when you're trying to say one thing, and I think you mean another. I think you need to go slow for personal reasons. What would you call it when someone only wants to play with higher ranking players? It's funny how you can change your statement and say you play with lower ranking players. Are they level 30 aka "rookies", yeah I didn't think so. Never did you once say ( before now only to make your weak argument better ) that you play with "lower" level players.

Anyways nice try making someone else look like a fool, when it's you who is trying to fool us/yourself.

That's my boy arguing :^:, don't lose the argument

Geez, the lengths some of you will go to to justify your greed - greed for fake money, no less.

My favorite so far is this belief that the heist leader is somehow more vital to the mission than the three others, and thus is entitled to additional profit over and above recouping setup costs.

What, one of the roles during the heist was less valuable than another? You could have completed the job without them? No, you couldn't.

Every member of the team contributes equally and vitally. Cuts should be dead even after costs. The closest that the game lets us come to that is 40/20/20/20. Anything less is not only greedy but insulting.

In my crew it's 25% each, rich guys run the hiests, poor guys come along and become rich guys.

And if everyone is equally poor? Then what?

I'm in my 30's, retired and rich, you? Why would I need real life skills with all that?

You can be anything you like on the internet, sweetie. For all anyone knows you could be a crusty 60-year old man who is financially destitute. Regardless, anyone boasting such things on a message board is usually far from that particular situation in reality.
