Is 25% too much to ask for a high level?

Recommended Posts

Most people are dumb enough to think 25,25,25,25 is fair. With that in mind....Never host if you play with randoms, just join to make those extra bucks.

And paying for lvl is just bs....just played a TDM today where a lvl15 was owning against +lvl150 players. Rather have that guy on a heist than one of those lvl300 or 400 players who quit before the match was over.

Miss Malevolent

I've been giving 25% cuts to everyone...and it is still not enough for some because I'm "rich and dont need it."

I was called selfish cause I wanted my 25%. There will be no pleasing folks on this.

My only question is this. If OP is rich and retired at 30. Then why are they playing Heists for the payout? Why not use your wealth to obtain what ever it is your little heart desires in GTA:O? I mean, you are over level 600....

Level has EVERYTHING to do with it IF I've never played with you before. How the f*ck else would I judge your ability having never met you or played with you? Oh, just take your word that you were a lvl120 at one time because of a reset (which makes you suspicious from the get-go). Yeah right. If I had three lvl 400s vying for a heist spot and then you came along, you'd be kicked to the curb, brah.

P.S> I know you were trolling the forum but unfortunately some people do not understand this concept.

Level has nothing to do with being good. With RP glitches and modding, it's easy to become a high ranking player. It seems to me lower ranking players are better then higher levels. Mostly due to people have two characters. Higher ranking players just think they're better because of a rank. I got to level 130 in August of 2014, I'm 141 now. I unlocked everything I needed to unlock, no point getting any higher.

Your logic is flawed from the start. How DO you judge a good player without some baseline ranking system? You assume that most high-level has glitched/modded/whatevered their way up the ladder. Sure some have (lvl 8000's bitch please) but that's just because of what you read on the forum. I stand by my previous scenario. If I had a pool of level 400-500s and a lvl 30 to choose from for a heist, who gets the boot? It's just logic.

Edit: just to expound a bit on what I said above. I will not argue that there are some level 30s (or whatever lower rank) that can kick some serious ass but you will only know that by playing with them. The level system, flawed as it is, is really the only indicator we have of a player's experience.

Most of the time random leaders are greedy dicks.

But to all of you who had it coming because you just joined the finale or last set up mission. Stop complaining about 10-15%, unless you're role is incredibly hard as my below average dick.

Bitchesssssss

Haha, from the start because I disagree? So in your eyes I'm a sh*t player because of my "low" rank? I don't judge players till I uh play with them. Anyways this is pointless, you see things your way, I see them realistically.

Yeah...I'm booting the level 30 cause he has level 30 health...the level 400 may suck...but at least they're at max health which is a consideration.

Also the ability to hold more than one armor is a big factor.

I've met a lot of high levels that didn't even know you could carry more then 1 let alone 10. Lost a lot of survivals because they wanted to run and get more. Like I said higher level doesn't mean sh*t, playing experience matters. And it seems to me ( on Xbox One ) that higher levels flat out suck, while low levels are pretty good.

I suppose that's true. It's why the rich are rich. I knew an old man, really stingy. Never spent a penny in his entire life, died with 5 million in the bank... Never used any of it. The more money he got, the more he wanted.

So? That's an easy fix. I would tell them, "Go to the Ammunation to stock up."

Not knowing and being able to change it, means a hell of a lot more than not being able to do it at all.

Oh so in the middle of a survival they can go buy armor huh? You know when it matters more, not after the fact ;) Okay bye bye, I'm done.

Well I was speaking of heists. But after the survival, when you have failed, said 400 can go to the Ammunation having learned from their mistakes and buy ten heavy armors.

However, I don't care how many times the level 30 goes to the Ammunation...they're only going to be able to have one.

TheBaronOfHell

I think you're more than welcome to expect a decent payout. But my sympathy for you vanishes as soon as you ruin it for everyone else.

You'd have been better off accepting what you got and completing the job. If you did perform well, chances are the host would have brought you along on another job, seen how you performed on the previous job and maybe have given you a larger cut the next time around.

1. you're a f*cking dick for doing that. Just complete it already when you're that far!
2. if you dont have a mic your not even worth it.

3. 25% is alot, if you didnt help with the setup missions. You gotta realise the leader has paid money upfront, and played all the setup mission with no pay! Meaning he had to pay for ammo and spend alot of hours not getting paid. Leader deserves alot more. You should be happy with 15%.

Miss Malevolent

I've not read most of this thread but the OP is an ass.

Asking for a quarter of the total amount when the leader has to front cost is ridiculous. And your dick move makes you a dick

People don't see it that way. Although this doesn't apply to the OP as this was a heist finale they were joining, people have a logic disconnect when they forget, they're getting paid for all those setups while the leader gets "nada".

And even then if you have a certain dollar amount...you're expected to work for free. Which is why I was called a selfish asshole (jokingly, but not really) for saying I wasn't going to work for free to help a person get their money up who had been away from the game for awhile.

"I should get a higher cut cause you have more money and don't need it even though you're working for free during all heists setups and have to work in the negative until we actually pass the heist mission."

Mr. Crowley

The leader is putting money up front.

They should get a higher percentage.

20% is fair for the crew.

...and OP is a supreme douche for crashing at the end. You are the worst kind of troll. There is no excuse.

most of the time I give 25 all around
but the 2 times I have been playing with a friend and 2 randoms I give 30 for us and 20 for the new newcomers, which is fair considering we spent all that time doing preplanning and they have just jumped in at the end

Try to keep up. I'm talking about judging players BEFORE you've played with them. And yes, until I've played with you, if you're a rank 30, you're a rookie and I don't want you on my heists. Why is that hard to grasp?

People need to start thinking about payouts over the course of the Set Up missions as well as the Heist. Regardless of whether or not you ran the set ups with that host they still had to complete all of their set up missions without earning a reward. They also had to cover the buy in for the heist itself, so in all reality the hosts are entitled to however much the game gives them by default. People need to stop being petty over small percentages being taken from their cut in order to comp the hosts losses in getting the Heist ready.
