Is 25% too much to ask for a high level?

With 4 players, everyone should be getting at least 20%-25%. Anyone who says otherwise is a greedy asshole, so no. It's the fair amount to ask.

Something like 50, then yeah that's a bit too much.

So the crew leader should earn less money then everyone else? Remember he doesn't make any money until the heist is complete. While everyone else was paid for each setup mission. (if they were present at all). Asking for 25% isn't fair unless you did a DAMN good job during the all the setup missions while others were lacking.

you Guys are greedy (or broke -_- ) teehee, I give 25% to everyone and me. My team sticks togeter, and we get paid the same.

Teehee~

I wouldn't have a problem if I was playing with my friends, having a good time with them since the setups. They can have 25%, they could even have a bigger cut than me if I felt like.

But I just don't like the idea of someone random joe who just joined for a finale getting the same amount of money that I'm getting, after the countless hours I put through to reach this stage. Is not even about the money, is more about working to get what you deserve.

Paying people based on their Rank is nonsense, if you're good you should get payed well and if you don't do well you shouldn't, also asking for 25% as a crew member is absolutely excessive because the host puts up the front money and also doesn't get paid for each of the setup missions, meaning the host needs as much as 40% just to get back what they lost out on.

And in case you aren't too good with math, if the host gets 40% and you get 25%, that doesn't leave much for the other two people (and 35% to split two ways isn't exactly equitable), and the only reason I'd ever suggest someone be paid so much more than the others is if they really (and I mean Really) carried the whole team through the heist (platinum medal during every setup mission for example), but even then if I was the host my first choice would be to split it evenly (only giving a bonus if there was any left over which couldn't be spread equally around, then the MVP gets the bonus) and it would be one hell of a dick move for someone to insist they deserve more money so strongly that they sabotage the mission and leave, that's just low.

I mean if you get really screwed over and given 10% or some sh*t like that then yeah sabotage away, but if the host is doing his best to be fair and you decide to be a dick about it that's entirely on you and anyone who does that is a douchebag (and yes that includes you OP, thanks for the heads up now I know to kick you if I ever see you join my lobby).

You deserve 15% simply because you get paid on every preperation mission kai the host doesn't get paid for hours of playing, it is only fair tha the host should cover the setup costs and make what he didn't make on the preperation!

And if you are so butthurt with your rank then you should be the host and lose all that money giving people 25%, the truth is that the greedy f*cks are people like you because you don't understand that the host makes money only on the last mission also if you don't like simply don't hit the ready button and leave, if you hit the ready button and act like this you just waste YOUR time not his. But probably you don't have a life and your time is useless so keep acting like a dick!!

Truly dramatic tale OP... Me, honestly I don't give a sh*t about my cut, I am high level, btw. everyone above 300 is imo. I am far from super rich in game, and sure there's some things players do that tend to piss me off, but it just happens and there are always ways to deal with it other then being a total dick. But if you've come as far as sabotaging jobs for others just over worhtless in game currency and dare call that reaction a sort of "lesson" you're teaching them, then you clearly have some emotional issues. At this point it makes me wonder if games don't play too big of a part in your life. See a shrink maybe ?

My question is if you're such a high level, how can you be so broke that you NEED to have that big of a cut? We're you not smart about spending your money? Making more won't fix that problem.

WRONG! The leader doesn't get a dime for setup missions like the other 3 players do, plus is fronting the cost. The leader should always get at least 50%

if you're going to demand 25% (an unfair cut, especially if you're hopping in just for the finale) then just leave the session if you don't get it. dont be that person who sabotages the mission

Again... 25% is the fair cut. Don't set it to 25%.. Deal with the sabotage you are about to get..or the instant quit.

Im not demanding 25%.. I fully expect it.. Just as i give 25% to everyone regardless of their roles OR how much i put up front. Because im not a snotty little kid with greedy money issues.

The leader should always get at least 50%

Ya.. good luck with that one...LOL!

I dunno, OP. I sort of smiled at your "tactic" but on reflection, it seems dickish.

A high rank means nothing.....I would have kicked you right after yer little child tantrum....

So how do you judge a good player that you've just met ASIDE from their rank? Blood test? Online application? I'm really curious how people have this inate knowledge of someone's GTA skill based on something other than current rank.

BRAAAP_STUTUTU

My god,you should be happy you can even do heists,my friend will even get you more than 25% cause nobody seems to join FFS all of his friends dont seem to want to do heists with us and then they play heist leader and constantly fail... please pm if you are on ps3 and willing to help me and my friend. I cant take the waiting no more..

I'd be less worried about getting a decent cut and focus on your head not exploding.

But no, you absolutely do not deserve any more than 20% unless the host is generous.

Money issues are irrelevant, what is fair is everyone getting an equal amount of money from the heist. i think its been explained time after time in this thread that the leader not only pays 10% up front but also loses out on almost $100,000 from setup missions (depending on the heist), he should not be expected to give equal cuts across the board.

the other factor is time- if 3 randoms jump into the heist for only the finale, they should get even less of a cut because they did not invest their time into the heist. the finale is a 20 minute mission, why should they make 150,000 for 20 minutes of work when the leader makes even less for 3 hours of work?

of course, playing with friends is another story. i have 5.5 million dollars and my friend has 20k, im going to give him a 100% cut. consider friends as friends and randoms as employees

Lmfao, 25% is absolutely not a fair cut, the Host pays a hefty fee to start the heist and then gets paid nothing for any of the setups while other people make 25k for each setup mission, meaning the host has often lost out on anywhere from 150k-200k by the time the final heist mission comes out.

And in case you suck at math, that means the Host needs to get anywhere from a 40-60% cut just to make the same amount of money as the people in their crew.

To be clear, the host getting around 50% means that the Host ends up with THE SAME amount of money earned as his crew members, and if the host were to split the money 25% to each person then the host would be making a whole let less than their crew made from the heist, which isn't fair to the host.

If you need to have this explained further, LOL, it's not rocket science you know people, I don't understand why so many people don't get how this works.

LEVEL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!

I'M BETTER THAN YOU AND I'M LVL 30(ALTHOUGH THAT IS ONLY BECAUSE I GOT RESET FROM LVL 120)

Level has EVERYTHING to do with it IF I've never played with you before. How the f*ck else would I judge your ability having never met you or played with you? Oh, just take your word that you were a lvl120 at one time because of a reset (which makes you suspicious from the get-go). Yeah right. If I had three lvl 400s vying for a heist spot and then you came along, you'd be kicked to the curb, brah.

P.S> I know you were trolling the forum but unfortunately some people do not understand this concept.

That's why you have to err on the side of equality, low level people aren't automatically bad and deserve just as much of a chance to make good money as anyone else (as long as they have what it takes to earn it), the truth is you can't know if anyone is good or not without playing with them and level is only a gauge of experience not skill. I played a setup mission of the first heist with a 22 and he performed great with every task I gave him (and also put up with me locking it to first person mode) so when we did the final part I gave him a 60% cut (of course there was no setup fee for the first heist so that rule didn't apply).

If you don't have the benefit of playing with someone in a setup first to see what they've got, then it's a dick move to just assume they don't and pay them less, paying everyone equally (with host take adjusted for expenses) is the only proper way to go about it (if you play with someone and they suck though, giving them less (depending on how much they sucked) in the end is understandable and appropriate if the host decides to do so).

Level has nothing to do with being good. With RP glitches and modding, it's easy to become a high ranking player. It seems to me lower ranking players are better then higher levels. Mostly due to people have two characters. Higher ranking players just think they're better because of a rank. I got to level 130 in August of 2014, I'm 141 now. I unlocked everything I needed to unlock, no point getting any higher.
