Is 25% too much to ask for a high level?

Recommended Posts

A high level for me is over 500. I'm lvl 652.

I don't mind playing the prison break over and over again with whatever.

With someone like me, chances of failure are almost zero.

So far most ppl have agreed with my price.

Some did not. To them, I said ok go on, give me whatever.

Last one who didn't want to pay, this is what I did:

Near the end of the prison break heist, I was the pilot.

I flew that thing right in the ocean and told the host:

Next time, gimme my price and I left.

I know it's a dick move but this is why I'm asking:

Is 25% too much to ask for a high level who knows what the hell she is doing?

From here on out, I will agree to any demands people like you make when I host a heist....and then I will sabotage the mission myself at the last possible chance and take extreme satisfaction in knowing that I wasted your time

BondageKitty

I havnt played any Heists yet. Well then, if its in increments of 5%, then 50/16.7/16.7/16.7 is my final offer. Host doubles his 40k investment plus 7k

The 55% host default is a REASONABLE cut too.

16.7 not possible as well. Shame really because the multiples of 5 thing is what gets in the way of the fairest cut.

Everyone should get 25%..... Why?

Because good help is hard to find.. And pissing people off causes good players to leave.. And you will end up with sh*t players not giving a f*ck about the peanuts you are giving them.

Your goal is to finish the heist.. Not bicker over 20-40k ... Dumbass's.

I guess not many people realize that the host has to invest an amount equal to 10% of the heist's take ($12k for Fleeca Bank, $40k for Prison Break, $100k for Pacific Standard, etc.) in order to fund the heist setup. Then the host has to run through those heist setup missions for several hours without being paid a single cent while every other heist member gets paid, before finally arriving at the heist finale and then having to deal with whining about what role they get, how big of a cut they get, etc., and either the host goes through with their demands or deals with people quitting or sabotaging the heist like the OP did.

I've been doing "equal" 25/25/25/25 cuts so far, but all this post did was make me realize my mistake and that I should be making it 40/20/20/20, which is truly fair and equal. Randoms joining my heist have no reason to complain if they have not made any 10% investments or gone through the heist prep missions like I have. They're getting a nice shortcut to the heist finale, and they should be happy I'm not screwing them over with a <10% cut or some sh*t.

I think most of players should understand that when they just join the finale of a heist, without taking part in any of the other setups as a team, they don't deserve a bigger slice of the cake.

Simply because they're doing a 20-30min job and getting paid, while the leader been into setting it up, waiting to lobbies fill up for hours. It's fair that the leader take more.

Are you an asshole? Because you sound like one. Alot of you do.

You are sitting there.. needing a 4th... And you're gonna start arguing over peanuts.... Really? You NEED HIM.. He does not need you.

This why im glad people like me play this game.. For me.. everyone gets 25% unless i feel life cutting myself out and giving them more.

I try not to be an asshole, I'm sorry if I gave you that impression.

And about the who needs who, it all depends on the point of view.

The player needs me to play the heist from the finale, since chances are, he doesn't have it all set up, and by doing the finale straight away he'll get some easy and fast money. If he decides to leave and find someone else that is giving 25%, instead of my 15%. he might not find another finale ready up. Might take another 15 minutes until one pops up.

PLUS, it's not a 2 player job, where we need each other, there are 4 individuals in it, if one of them isn't happy, and decide to leave he'll still need to wait for another 4 player group in the next room he join, with the possibility of the other leader having the same or worse attitude than I do. So the player will likely suck it up and take the 15% if he is smart enough, is faster, simpler, and most of all. Fair.

My point is.. It does not matter.

if you start bickering over payouts you seem like an asshole Despite who needs who.. or how long it took.

I myself will stick with 25% cut for everyone.. Unless i feel like giving someone more as heist leader, il take less.

Because i know il be doing this a million times over. Its not a big deal at all. Is it?

Well it's your heist, play it as you wish.

As long you're not screwing someone's game by ruining the mission in the end, or taking a 100% cut, it's all fair and square.

This Amanda chick must be on a wind up, no?

Why bother playing GTA yourself? Get your negotiator to procure your 100% cut demands and personal servant to do the dirty work. They pass you the controller on completion and your ego is fed.

So zero chances to lose with you but you purposely fly a plane in the water? So you think because you're good, you deserve more? Front up your money next time and be the host, you'll have nothing to lose.

Um...no, you wanna be the host, you pay for your progress, money is worthless.

If you wanna try with ppl who suck, good luck!

To your first question, I said why, learn to read.

then what makes you act like a queer c*nt if you dont get your precious 25%?

Omnifarious

I find 40/20/20/20 to be the fairest. Take into account that leader pays and doesn't make any profit off setup.

Take for example Prison Break.

Leader starts with -40,000$ profit.

Other 3 crew members make 20,000$ of the 4 setup missions so they make 80,000$ before the heist even starts.

At 500,000$ split 40/20/20/20:

Leader makes 160,000$ profit

Crew makes 180,000$ profit

The math with 55/15/15/15

Leader makes 235,000$

Crew makes 155,000$

The math with 25%

Leader makes 85,000$

Crew makes 205,000$

40/20/20/20 the crew wins 20,000$ more.

55/15/15/15 the leader wins 80,000$ more.

25/25/25/25 the crew wins 120,000$ more

Level means nothing and 40/20/20/20 is the fairest even cut.

Gonna keep this saved. Keep needing to post it in multiple threads of the same theme.

After reading more, Wow is OP stuck up.

And that's just the thing, people come in demanding half of the money, and it's like, even at an even 25 across the board. I'm coming out with just 40k after the heist, while you get 131k... Seems kind of unfair for the host, who had to setup the heist, front all of the costs, including their own ammo, and they get barely more than a standard mission...

I really can't figure OP out at all...you're in your 30's, rich, retired and a woman... And you're on gtaforums demanding some sort of respect for having an over 500rank character on an online game populated by teenagers...and informing us on your tactics for pissing off other players when they don't give you the respect you feel you deserve because of a number beside your user name...(which I would just presume you glitced).

I like the sound of 40/20/20/20 as being the fairest when playing with randoms.

If I joined a heist and the payout was too low, I'd just leave. Not sure why some other people feel the need to ruin everyone else's fun and waste their own time over a few %.

Retired means they had to work for a living. I doubt someone in the 30s made enough money to "retired" at such a young age. So my guess is they come from money, someone died and left money to them, or just lying. They probably live off of momma and dadda and use their credit cards.

I know rich people, I work for them. They made tons of money and live well and still work. These are mostly men in their 50-60 that buy and sell classic cars for a living. They also don't act like babies when things don't go their way but they worked for their wealth.

Likely just lies.

I don't really think a legit rich person would throw a "well at least i'm rich irl" in a internet forum about Grand Theft Auto, where we post dank memes.

Pretty much bxx88. I mean I don't care if they are or aren't rich in real life, it doesn't bother me one bit. Just don't sound like a stuck up pos when you do talk about it. That's why I believe if they are, it's not from their own success.
