Armored Kuruma or Normal Insurgent?

Recommended Posts

We Are Ninja

No one has touched on the Armored Kuruma's biggest weakness. You can't throw stickies out of it. And, when you're being chased, sticky bombs are your most powerful offensive weapon. The Armored Kuruma isn't that fast and it doesn't handle that well. And unless you're really adept at driving fast and shooting backwards simultaneously, anybody, and I mean ANYBODY, that can throw a sticky from a moving vehicle is gonna ruin your day and send you to MORS by way of the clouds.

The Insurgent isn't any faster and it doesn't handle any better, but it can withstand as many stickies as you can attach to it, and it allows it's driver to throw stickies of their own.

How hard is it to spell the name of the car correctly? I'm extremely curious, why is this particular case of misspelling is SO popular?
I'm sorry I didn't know Spelling mattered here. But just so I don't offend anyone I'll correct myself anyway. The Karin Kuruma.

FFS, mate, I was just being asshole in general, nothing personal.

But it is indeed funny how people are misspelling this particular car.

Cheers and don't be mad, please.

I don't get people using Kuruma in missions. Maybe on foot you have a lower success ratio but it's funnier and games are about fun, not making virtual money.

It's the same thing that I said before. Heists are a lot of funnier than CM

I can't explain motivation of others, but sometimes I'm just too lazy to do everything the old way and it's actually fun to ram your enemies with it, 80-action movie style or distribute auto-aimed death with 3 mates inside it. Try if, nice fun and it's new to the gameplay. Is it challenging? Hell no.

On the matter of heists, I can also say for myself: it's extremely hard to organise 3 more people in the same time to do the heist than quickly spam some contact missions with 1 more guy, randoms or even solo. And in my case, I can say about heists: never again. I've completed them for the unlocks, I don't need the money from heists and it was one time deal. Yes, I've helped couple of my mates to unlock stuff to and replayed some of the heists, but not going to do that again. Funny thing, I never did Series A, because there is nothing interesting for me in it. Too time-consuming, too much risks of being disconnected and I'm not even thinking about going for that criminal mastermind achievement. That does not, however, mean that I don't respect people who succeeded in that. And I like the heists update itself, I'm not disappointed in it. It's just my perception that vehicles are more interesting than jobs.

Armored Kuruma for missions and heists.

Yes the Insurgent can take explosives, but how often do enemy NPCs use explosives? Very rarely. They pretty much only use guns. You're safer inside a Kuruma than an Insurgent when it comes to gun fire.

I have to go with the Insurgent since it's fast enough to get any job done, and it seems to be able to take more damage than the Kuruma. I personally have both, and use them both for different jobs. If I was to pick my friends up, and get away quickly I'd go with the Kuruma. But if I'm cruising around in a hostile lobby, I'd go with the Insurgent.

I bought insurgent with machine gun and I have to call Pegasus for it who spawn insurgent like half mile away of me. It's so boring, need car to get a car. Same for choppers. While I go to airfield and fly to mission it's almost the same if I drive directly to mission with Zentoro. Am I doing something wrong?

Insurgents aren't don't have bullet proof windows its bomb proof. Kurumas are high speed cars with bullet proof windows but insurgents are imvinsible to grenades and homing launches. Kuruma is better because people are most likely to shoot you with a gun rather than a grenade. They're very useful in missions

People are most likely to shoot u with a gun that a sticky bomb Insurgents are so pathetic u can get shot so easily in them with their normal windows

The Insurgent is better. Its jet proof, a tank killer, all-terrian, and you can throw bombs out of it. Bullet resistant rear for reverse AP kills. Flatten other players with ease while ducking. During chases in the city most players crash thier cars allowing you to ram and bomb them.

I hate the look of the armored Kuruma. Yesterday I spawned into a session and right by Weazel Plaza there was a chromed primary/lime green secondary armored Kuruma. The owner had not locked it (He was in his apartment). Cake!!!!! So I took it, smashed it into so many walls you wouldn't believe. It was a wreck by the time I finished. I drove fast up the stairs to Weazel and it landed upside down on, balancing on two hand rails. Then I put proximity mines around it. When the owner finally came out, I called Lester and went off the radar. The owner stood still, looking like he was thinking what had happened. He went over to it and BOOOOOOM. 5 proximity mines at once. He and his f*cking car got it good. If I see one more kid chroming ANYTHING, they're eligible for the same treatment.

Oh frig, a real life internet badass !!!! Dude, you gotta put out some YouTube videos. You spent 20 minutes, the cost of 5 proximity mines, the cost of going off the radar, and then the cost of his insurance... he made one phone call and got his car back all shiny....

.... boy you really taught him. You're gonna end up being one broke wannabe troll, good luck.

Not about the money, its about the fun memorable kill. I do the same thing. I have plenty of money, Money is for having fun.

Heists Are The Future

Kuruma is way better. They're high speed bullet proof window cars. Insurgents are a dissapointment, the windows aren't bullet proof and you can get easily shot, it takes 3 or 4 homing laucnhers or grenades to destory it but enemies and users are most likely going to use a gun. Kurumas have bullet proof windows and are useful in missions and setups. Insurgents are practically an SUV with 6 seats.

Insurgent, but I really wish that it had more customization. Stuff along the lines of it being the Pick-Up version (without bullbars/external rollbars) and you could add things like:

Chassis: External roll bars | Bed cap (Makes it look like the SUV variant) | Bed cap w/ ext. roll bars (2 people can sit in the back even with the bed cap on, can shoot out the back door)

Bull bar

Armor plating on windows: Can't shot out of
Snorkel: Could possibly let you drive through deep water for longer before the engine dies
Use of the roof hatch: Personal weapons with weak/no aim lock on the weapons

Thinking about it the Armored Karuma could also use the bullbar, external roll bars and snorkel customization options as well

It's easier for ppl to shoot through the front window of the Insurgent, but wearing a bulletproof helmet and ducking solves that problem. I like my armored Kuruma, but I love my insurgent! My favorite vehicle.

Does bulletproof helmet protect anything?

I doubt so...

Yes, it does.

In fact it makes head shots do body shot damage. It's the only sense I can make out of it anyway
