Prison Break Finale Glitch?

Hey guys, so I'm upto the Prison Break finale and I've tried numerous times but I can't seem to complete it. I've probably tried 6-8 times but whenever we're in the Velum we can't seem to lose the cops. I've switched roles between characters, tried it with different people, tried flying out to sea, tried flying low to the ground, I've pretty much tried it all but can't seem to get rid of the wanted level. This has happened in a few situations in the past but none have been as frustrating as this, usually I just hide and get out the car or whatever for a couple of mins and the problems solved but you can't even get out of the damn plane to try and lose them that way

 

 

..so I was wondering if you folks have any idea's?

If you are the pilot, once the others reached the plane you need to get very high up, at least to the level of the yellow marker. Have one guy assist you with buzzard if the cop helis don't let go then just fly and try to avoid their perimeter until the wanted level clears.

I haven't finished the heist yet but I have done the part your talking about. The Pilot (Dude flyin teh Velum) has to evade the jets (Well basically not get shot by the jets) while the Buzzard guy shoots down the jets

Thanks for the responses guys but I'm thinking it has to be a glitch or some shiz. Before I posted this thread me the crew were flying around for 30mins or more without a cop in sight and yet we failed to lose the wanted level. I read on another forum that lag might be to blame, so changing the character roles around was supposed to help.. but obviously to no avail.

 

I guess I'll have to keep trying and hope I get lucky at some point.

M8 ive just completed heist and when i go back to flat lester says i aint done it wtf got to do finale again
