Savage vs Valkyrie

Which is the better purchase? Im surprised that the Valkyrie almost costs 1 million more, while there are 4 people in it, firing those cannons and 2 miniguns its quite a wrecking machine.

 

But then again the Savage does have explosive rounds like the Hydra and Lazer and also rockets that can lock on...

 

Which is better and which do you prefer?

If you are going solo, savage, if you have a full squad take the valkyrie. the valkyrie can lay down some punishing firepower and it is fun for the whole group.

get both. They can be very useful in some situation. IMO Imnt going to buy the hydra because for 5g or free i can grab the lazer

Valkyrie has explosive rounds in the nose mounted minigun and the side mounted miniguns are devastating!

But if you're going solo buy savage otherwise buy valkyrie

The savage is very heavy and max velocity is 155.

( Savage mass is 140000 kg !! )

The valkyrie isn't very heavy and max velocity is 165.

Mass - 6500 kg

But this doesn't matters.

Savage = Solo

Valkyrie = Friends..etc

I'd go Savage all the way honestly. Unless you have a pretty good pilot that understands that the helicopter has to be at the same level or higher than the target, the Valkyrie is a pain as the gunner. I played the Vakyrie setup mission as a gunner on the left side. The pilot was way lower than the enemy helicopter that I couldn't shoot it (the gun doesn't go all the way up and stops at a certain angle, so it prevents the gunner from hitting targets that are too high. I ended up dying because the pilot just sat there and expected me to kill it when he was way too low for me to actually hit it.

 

The Savage has rapid firing rockets and has explosive rounds that make it like a Hydra, but without the speed and every other jet feature. Considering the fact that it's also $1 million cheaper than the Valkyrie makes it even harder to resist.

But I do agree to some extent with your opinion, the Valkyrie can only be good if all 4 players in there are good, otherwise you'll struggle with a sh*tty pilot and sh*tty gunners
