Heists = Waiting, Loading, Quitting, Failing, Freezing and Waiting som

Could everyone please log the amount of time you AREN'T playing an actual Heist or Setup? I bet my ratio today is 1 minute for every 20 - loading, inviting, waiting, failing, quitting, waiting, loading, freezing, waiting, inviting.

 

Useless Animations everywhere... They could have made Setups flow more seamlessly - without kicking everyone to a lobby after each one!

you can skip animation/trip when all 4 player have competed the mission.

I'm not playing with anyone except friends at this point - too many quit or are just terrible.

Saddest thing about heists. Brilliant and monumentally dumb new update, that's what this is. You spend maybe an hour doing a heist instead of maybe doing 3 survivals back to back and making more money that way.

 

Honestly if they don't fix this thing in the next update, I'm kinda going to have to give up on it. I can't stand starting a heist watching 50 cut scenes, then some retard decides to disconnect from the lobby and ruin everything.

Its best advised to roll with people you really know....even if its just 3 crew members, finding a fourth one randomly means waiting, more waiting quitting and so on.

I'm glad there are breaks after each Setup. Since you can play with random and friends, this justifies the game for those who play with randoms - especially when there's a horrible player which you want to get rid of him as soon as the setup done.

 

Besides, when you're taking a 'break', the Heist commandant are 'doing their work' before they're ready to call you back.

I always do a mic check in the lobby. If someone doesn't have a mic, kick them. You're better off spending a little extra time in the lobby finding good players rather than finding out the player has NFI in the middle of the mission....

I know where you're coming from, OP. The freezing and dropping is incredibly frustrating. But, THAT FEELING when everything comes together perfectly makes things more bearable.

 

I like the short breaks between phases as it allows me to restock on snacks and armor.

This is the wost thing about it. You go through the heist step by simple step, make it all the way to the finish line, then trip over a rock basically and never finish first. This is absolutely terrible terrible terrible game design. If a dude bales on the heist, freeze everything and simply bring a new guy in on the fly, that's how other games do it, right? Why can't GTA?

 

I don't recall what game it was, but I remember some other game just basically stopped the game until enough people joined to continue the match. This game is the first I've seen that allows the game to end after so much of it has been completed. Makes me not want to bother playing anymore until they patch it and make it so some 10 year old isn't just bashing buttons all day in our faces and wasting our time.

Does anyone know how to re-play the first Fleeca setup mission ? Completed it, but then the servers spazzed out and now all I can see is the actual Heist mission (there's a 2nd setup mission ?)

 

So, when I try to launch the Heist, it wont let me due to not having done the 2nd setup...

Hey guys ive found that everyone starting out in the same invite only session before heists start, negates alot of the issues. At least it did for us (ps4)

Some of these issues could be related to the high server load...but there is no way to be sure yet. But some are definitely design issues, I think the most pressing ones R* needs to fix are going to lobby between missions, and how to handle people leaving during a mission. The others I could live with for a while if those 2 were fixed.
