Wear Hoodie without mask Glitch

I donno if anyone has found this out.

 

But I saw a few people asking about this in the forums yesterday, so here.

 

I was wearing the heist hoodie with the stealth mask (from the third heist).

 

Got into a heist mission and once I was done with it I was wearing the hoodie with no mask.

 

EDIT WITH BETTER EXPLANATION: Pretty much be wearing the hoodie up with a mask on when you start up a heist mission. When the mission start up you'll have to choose a heist get up.

Once the mission ends and you spawn back in free roam you should have the hoodie still up no mask on.

ONLY STEALTH GEAR MASK WILL WORK

Sorry if I still have not explained properly I'm not very good at explaining such things.

LAST EDIT: ONLY STEALTH GEAR MASK WORKS, ALSO DOES NOT SAVE.

Altough someone else may find a way to get it to save in the future I can not.

Also it only works by doing heist missions, be it setups or finals. Tried it in a couple adversary modes to no avail.

This is awesome, i really hope a glitch is found, i really like this. It's so annoying how Rockstar limits it so much. Why bother putting the ability to finally put your hoodie up and then screw us over with only putting it up with a mask on.

Same with the new purple/green bandanas and fitted hats but thank god theres a glitch to wear each seperate.

I remember a portion during the Fleeca bank heist where you are prompted to put your mask on during the heist.

 

It might work if you are wearing one of these heists hoodies and your mask of choice is a ski mask.

 

 

Keep checking for those who can get in during the server outages and cloud data mess ups

I said how to do it. Sorry didn't say more. was in the middle of starting a mission when I posted this so had to go quick.

Literally just go the store or your closet and choose "no hat" in the hat section. The bandana will stay on. You can also do the same with the glasses.

When I do that it just reverts to wearing the hat and glasses again. It doesn't remove them when I click 'no hat' or 'no glasses'.

 

EDIT: I stand corrected, you have to wear the bandana and go to the STORE not wardrobe to remove the hat and glasses. My fault. Thanks Gummy.

Did you try saving it inside any clothing store instead of your personal home wardrobe?

No I have not. But since the setup is the same I'm guessing it'd do the same but maybe not.

 

Also I think the reason it works with the stealth mask and not other mask is because it's classified under GEAR and not MASK.

You mean the night vision mask/gear? Or is there a mask called stealth mask I'm not aware of?

 

He probably means the Night Vision mask, which is in fact in the Gear inventory section and not the mask section.

You can buy heist gear on the middle table with the small safety cases inside any Ammunation store.

To wear the hat only, simply put on the green or purple bandana/hat/glasses mask and get in a car and pop up your inventory and put glasses to "none" then get out, and you should be wearing just the hat :)

Absolutely positive!!! We both have one saved with hoodie up, no mask.

is it also possible to change the mask under the hoodie? i really want the hood up with a hockey mask.

Another way I was told to do it by Blujet95 is:

 

You need night vision goggles to do it. Equip the heist hooded jacket of any color, then put on a hat. Get into a car, open your interaction menu, go into your accessories and put on night vision while in the car. Get out and the hat, hoodie, and night vision will all be glitched together. Then go to a clothing store, hats, beanies, and select no hat. It'll take everything off but the hoodie. You can save it as an outfit.
