gta online heists really needs a patch to fix this dlc

Recommended Posts

i know i'm not the only one thinks this but gta online heists really needs a patch to fix this dlc.

i'm tired of random server failers and the dlc keeps telling me my gamertag isn't linked with social club or i'm not in a crew, because i am in a crew and before dlc cameout my gamertag was linked with social club.

and when i check social club i'm linked with xbox 360 same as before.

The UPDATE has only been out for a day.

It does have some serious issues though. One of the more annoying, at least IMO is the heist coming to an end if someone leaves or dies...nothing is more infuriating than waiting 20 minutes to get a couple other players only for some troll to back out just as you get to the objective...

Well, you can't really do anything about that. Everyone has a role, except for some setup missions. I know it's pain in the ass, but still, it will def stay the same, as there is nothing really to be patched here.

think about what you are saying here please, you mention the fact of servers dropping connection then say that the people who leave are trolls. so if i start a heist and you join, but then get disconnected, then by what you're saying you are a troll? lmfao

People dropping is fine...I'm specifically talking about the ones who crash into and blow up your car...the ones who make it as hard as possible, the ones you know for a fact are just leaving to be dicks :p

The solution is simply for Rockstar to put out the necessary series of patches before releasing the DLC.

Then as soon as the DLC is released, it will instantly be patched and everyone will play happily. :p

I don't know why Rockstar has not thought of this. I'm not a 6-figure elite game designer, but this fix is obvious even to me.

Its ridiculous that it was released with so many bugs. They had plenty of time to test it out. From glitchy clothes, to the fact that escaping the cops in the prison breakout heist is impossible. This is something you see from cheap game companies, not one like rockstar... or atleast I would hope.

The thing is no one knows what's going to happen when the update is released. Rockstar can only do so much with a small amount of people testing the update before it's released. When updates drop that's millions of people trying to play.

Why can't be comprehend this? You don't need 6 figures to think logically.

So rockstar knew about all these bugs and still released the update? Think people think.

I'm sorry, I forgot to use [sarcasm] [/sarcasm] tags :p

Uh you seem to be confused, the dlc does not need a patch, it is perfectly fine. The problem is so many people on the severs, the heist themselves are completely fine though. So fail thread.

yes it does need a patch to fix the problems in the dlc.

Rockstar wouldnt test their product before releasing it to the public? I would fully expect them too. Were talking a multi billion dollar company here, not some schmuck out of his garage. I know you said you dont need 6 figures to think logically, and i agree, but they could afford to hire thousands (way more than needed, just stating) of testers to test their product before it gets released. You know, quality control. Ever heard of it?

Logic tells us, it takes more then a few thousands of people to test something. Millions play, you can't test that scenario with thousands. And they won't beta test it because logically and financially it doesn't make sense. People need to learn patience and let rockstar fix the problems.
