My Heists DLC experience so far

A lot of players experiences so far with the heist update has been like this.

I have to admit, once you get a group of players going they are fun. The other issues are f*cking sh*t up.

 

TO ALL RANDOMS: You are not invincible, or rambo, or some other super hero. keep calm, take cover, snacks, armor and f*cking use your brain.

 

LOL at all the free roam warriors that talk sh*t, but can't complete a basic mission. #its a simple maze

Was able to complete the first one, took about 24 hours with the server issues, did all the steps with randoms, and it went smoothly, now, I am not sure I want to try the rest of them with randoms though

Man, I can't even complete 1 set up mission for the 2nd heist, takes ages to find people who will join, and when IF I can get 4 players 1 always leaves being a loner sux. Good loading screen simulator though.

 

That said, for what I have been able to do it was a blast

In general, my experience has been Worse than any Update so far. Completed the first Heist fine, trying to be Heists Leader in 2nd Heist (Prison Break).

 

- 2 Different Team Members die a total of 3 times doing the Plane Set-Up Mission (I lose around 30 mins of time for nothing)

 

Then giving up on being the Leader:

 

- Join Multiple different Invites (as a Crew Member) and then the Session is Full, spend 2 mins loading back into another Public Session (did this say 5 times).

- Actually complete a Set-Up Mission, everyone gets kicked back to Freeroam and in this case we were split up.

- General Connection Issues.

 

In a 90 min period Yesterday, I would have played for about 40 mins and only 10 mins of that went to a Set-Up Mission that got completed since the other 30 mins involved Restarting (and ultimately someone leaving so we had to all leave) as the Missions/Heists Instantly Fail if someone leaves or dies...

 

Awesome content, usual poor R* execution.

All I've got from this dlc update so far is wasted time and a few cutscenes with Lester in them. Great!

how do you time out when leaving a session

So far, my experience has been great, aside from the initial difficulty just getting on, and the occasional Save Failed. Of course, I'm not a loner, and have a group of guys dedicated to doing this stuff with (we're just taking our time). Between my two characters, I've got 19 saved outfits already (with so many more I could assemble!). After one of our guys got disconnected (unrelated to the game -- it's an ISP/router issue of his that happens every night at the same time), the rest of us tried some of those Siege Mentalities, which we enjoyed (and we're not exactly PvP people either). We also did the Business Class air race last night (I think that's the one anyway), and set to jets, we had fun testing out the Hydras some, since we aren't that far along in the heists yet. We had some fun trying to figure out some of the Daily Objectives we had received, and what does/doesn't work.

 

No, minor bugs aside, experience so far for me has been great!

Well I just got kicked from my own heist, I am loving the state of GTAO atm

Ive done about 5 set up missions before getting sent to freeroam or it just non stop loads and everyone bailed. Have not got to the actual heists yet.

Been trying to download the update since two minutes after it was available.

 

Drop outs, network errors, freezing, re-starting, had a black out & lost power.

 

Then I find out the MC vest was a fallacy, as is the Slamvan2... the only two decent things I wanted out of a sh!t update (content wise).

 

Might be wise to stay away once I get in a free roam session... (LOL)

 

So how has my experience of Heists been...? Error - Please go back and start the fck over...!
