Heist failure stories

Got lucky my last few playthroughs. Pulled Diamonds twice in a row. Did Silent and Sneaky with a guy who carried me through and knew the helicopter escape. Then I did Aggressive with a guy and we got through on one try too.

Earlier though I just spent $150k getting Diamonds again as it kept giving me Cash. Now I'm starting the setup for Maintenance so I can finally unlock that gray hat. I'm sure there will be failures coming with it though.

Here's another one why you don't use Easy difficulty on heists: You get nothing for it, except useless extra lives.

The enemies won't be any less alert or accurate, and your teammates don't magically become better drivers/pilots.

So, I joined a Prison break on call. It was set on Easy difficulty, I asked for it to be set on Normal, but the host started before I finished typing, ok.

Host immediately gave everyone 25% so I stayed just to see what would happen. Everyone was fairly high level too, including the host.

I was pilot, messing around with the jets over the Alomo Sea, while Demolitions was shooting them down.

Demo had just shot down a jet as I hear a second explosion behind me: Buzzard destroyed. Not sure if jet shot him or he crashed. We restarted, then demo left.

Honestly if they want it over with, I don't blame them.

I hosted Pacific on Easy back in 2015 or whatever as I was f*cking sick of f*cktards dying. I didn't give a damn about the money anymore, I just wanted hosting duties done!

Anyone playing the stealth mission on easy though, I just laugh and leave. I'm not in it for the money but if THAT specific setup is on Easy, I'm leaving as it isn't worth my time for 8k

Gimmie a sec, still wiping away the tears...

Ok, so I don't really bother posting DCH fails because usually they're near-identical, but this one bears sharing for the sheer stupidity of it.

4-man Cash, S&S, Terrace entry. After the loooong drive from Paleto we get to the Cargobob at the power station. 3 of us get in, 4th guy can't work out that all he has to do is press Y and he'll teleport in, so he's kind of just running around the chopper.

He finally works it out, but at that exact moment one of the other guys jumps out. The chopper started to lift off when #4 got in, but comes down again when #3 jumps out - and lands right on top of #3, killing him. Sigh...

Look, I get that not everyone has done this 2 year old heist dozens of times, but why is it that when I join one I'm almost exclusively teamed up with clueless rookies?

Did Big Con - Maintenance today. Had a level 110 join and before I could start, a level 17 and a level 30 joined. I hate kicking people so I started it up. We got in and were all just using ceramic pistols. Getting in wasn't too bad and we got like $2.3m I think. But deaths started piling up on the run to the cars. At one point they abandoned me by taking the cars and I got surrounded by over half a dozen cops and NOOSE. Then finally we got an escape. 110 was driving me and the others were in another car. 110 knew to go in the sewers and was waiting but turned around. I had to text him to go the other way to not trigger the 5 star again by going too close to the Casino. 30 and 17 somehow made it all the way out to Paleto and lost the cops...and one of them died somehow. At that point 110 quit. Couldn't really blame him.

Restarted a little later with someone close to 200. Died once before getting in but got through on the next try with close to $2m. Did notice some stuff. First try the other player picked up the SMG in the trash bag. I didn't and the guards left us alone through the metal detector. On the next try I grabbed it too and we had to shoot our way in. Also we died once outside on the escape and respawned without the SMGs just ceramic pistols. Luckily the other player was a good shot too. We were on foot by the sewers and I was just gonna run through to lose the cops but they went back out. I followed, stole a Granger and picked them up. Went back through the sewer, lost the cops, hit the freeway and stopped at Pipeline Inn to steal a 9F Cabrio. So glad to get Mainentance over though for that gray hat.

The Classic.

Pac Standard Finale - Normal Difficulty - Level 83 Host & 80 on the Cash, Level 832 (me) & 1000+ on the the crowd. I'm sure the 80 had done previous preps, I can't remember the 1000+ was the same or brand new to this one like me. Outfits From Selection, Host readies up then starts endlessly fiddling around with the outfits and masks so, we can't actually make a decision. I'm the only one yet to ready while he's still flipping through the mask types, so I wait until he lands on Apparatus, so we at least lok like ever so slightly higher tech Resevoir Dogs.

Spoiler

We get to the bank and that goes without any flaws, other than both bags filled of course. So it's time to for the run to the bikes. I always try to run out first myself when I've done crowd control, because the shell capacity of an Mk2 Explosive Shotgun with an Explosive Sniper is the perfect number of shots to take out all the cop cars that greet you and the 2 that are by the alley when you go out those doors, so that's what I always do, then just mop up any stragglers with the Mk2 Combat Rifle or Special Carbine. The two 80's go for the Paleto Score Juggernaut approach, of slowly walking around and using auto-aim to shoot at police that are currently taking cover behind cars with their mission given Mk1 Special Carbines. Shot to hell, shot to hell but they survive, we get to the alley, I dip to the right and go over the fences, the 1000 is far more of a carrier and stays in the alley with the two 80's all the way, losing about 300-400k in the process, (not that I'm actually caring for my personal take at this point, having at the very least a couple million more than I had prior to Tuners release, I more just do these for the thrill of beating a Heist finale with other people, insert obvious retort here). Somehow, after I've made it to the bikes and dealing with who I have to meet along the way, and taking my bike around to the entrance of the apartment building, the other 3 are just now starting ot make their way out of the alley.

We take off, I do my usual when taking the GPS route of going right onto the grass when passing the Casino, through Martin's Ranch, across those wide empty fields, across Sandy Shores Airfield runway, follow the train tracks acros the small bridge and dip down onto the road and resume the GPS route to properly trigger the Lose Cops When Jump without spawning a fleet of grangers and cop cars at the end of the tunnel if I were to follow the tracks cross the Raton Canyon bridge then double back round the hill to trigger it. Naturally, the two 80's take the GPS route on the bikes and die. Then they try the genius idea of attempting to take the bikes left up the side of a mountain where I go left across the nice flat, wide empty fields, they die a second time and have whittled the take down to the 550k flatline. Third times a charm, they still don't do anything other than follow the route unquestionably. The level 1000 gets to the boat before me using the jump. I'm second, the third is Host who decides to take his Lectro off the jump that loses the cops but sees no problem ignoring Lesters instruction to bail and parachute to safety, opting to stay on it until he hits the canyon floor and dies in an explosion. Thanks to being on Normal he gets into the boat after spawning in. The other 80 somehow manages to completely take the wrong route out of the tunnel and gets into the boat by taking his bike around the long way and down to the lower dirt track. He gets in and we complete the mission.

Given that more recent updates like Cayo & Tuners are soloable, that run in particular has left me with a sense of I-don't-know-what that is definitely not fury at the incompetence & decision making nor was it joy at being able to acknowledge how far the game has come and that R* has allowed the big marketing pull of GTA V & Online that was Heists, to now be done solo. I'm trying to figure out if it's a bitter sense of completion than didn't end with a bang but a whimper. Anyway... I'm gonna try joining a few random Cayo's tonight & tomorrow out of curiousity. I've only really experienced randomly joining one of those once, shortly after the update was out. I actually hosted a 4-player one once, and forced myself to communicate

I can save you some pain - don't.

You'll spend hours getting kicked and the very few you actually get into will fail most of the time, usually because of sheer incompetence.

For example, the one I'm on right now the host didn't buy suppressors. Someone didn't fill their bag, so the gross take is sitting at $1.37M, and dropping because someone triggered the guards after we left the compound.

Aaaand f*ck me 8 ways from Sunday the host just tried the repeat glitch & f*cked it up, so now the take is only the Secondary Loot that I was carrying, all of which went to expenses. My payout? 100K from the Elite Challenge. I'm sitting here staring at the screen in slack-jawed amazement. I have never seen that before.

And this is the first Cayo I've completed in 5 hours of trying. $100K for 5 hours, or less money than I'd have made if I'd just stayed in session and just sold Sentinels every 48 mins.

The utter stupidity of this playerbase beggars the imagination... Christ, all I wanted to do is help some folks bag their Panther, make a few bucks and maybe meet some decent players. Failed on all three counts.

I'm still in f*cking shock.

Id just scoped out Cayo Perico and needed to head back to the plane. Quickest way would just be jump off and die or get spotted and end up at the start. Not this time. One more spot I wanted to check so parachuted down and headed in that direction. Started to get closer, just avoid this guard post, that tree and Im good. Was I f*ck. That raised area next to the beach party, surrounded with barbed wire. Yep, landed there. Cant clim over or down from that area can you. Ended up waiting it out for the heli to do a patrol around the island to spot me. It somehow missed me but I was caught after it returned from the airfield.

PacSt Vans.

Picked my Hakouchu as a vehicle, since I was a Navigator. I had to photo 3 of the vans cause the other Navigator was driving like a headless chicken around the city. I took the third shot and went on driving, cause let the other ones do some work as well, right? I had to go pee instead of driving, cause after 2 minutes of wheelies (wtf was taking those guys so long???), an NPC made a turn in front of me and killed me instantly. Someone cursed at me in Spanish in the chat. After all I did to get them through this mission this is what I got.

So I just left.

Prison Break Station

Playing with noobers. Clean the ship, took the car, collected my partner, flew by the first blockade... and an NPC crashed into me and threw my car over the bridge and into the river.

Ended up with 4 players, none over 50 on Gruppe Sechs - Art. Complete sh*t show. I was running around hacking but one guy blocked the one door and took forever. He finally got it so I ran and grabbed the last piece of art but the gas was triggered. Then on the way out a guy died so I guarded him...while the other two got in the elevator. Then one died. Restart and same story with two running ahead and taking the elevator only I died second time as I ended up ahead of two of them and went into the control room and nobody followed.

Restarted with the highest ranked guy and we were having a good run. Well outside of me somehow getting stuck behind the metal doors at the tunnel. By the time I got to the elevator he was inside and alerted the five star. Gunned a few guards and got int he elevator to follow, he died once but we escaped outside with no more losses. Got to the getaway car and I was driving us out. Then it said he quit when I was on the last half a mile up the beach.

Guess I try tomorrow.

Casino heist silent&sneaky. I hosted, got one good random, we took the vault no problem. I set off the EMP after the vault, we got upstairs no problem, until leaving the staff lobby.

Just as we both reach the exit, someone finds a body and the alarm goes off. Timing on that couldn't have been worse.

I try to walk back for a restart but it's too late, and we get stuck outside with the alarm going off and the cops attacking us.

And yes, of course I died, because I suck at actual fighting on stealth missions. Maybe I should retire from GTA and play Watch Dogs and Metal Gear instead.

Oh, man. I have tears in my eyes.

Joined a rando S&S. We load at Paleto. I got into the jeep and wrote: "Sure I hope you did the keycodes prep". Host wrote: "Oh my" and left the heist.

I died.

So I decided to take a break from grinding Sec Contracts/Assassinations and queue up for some random heists as it had been a while since I'd done one.

To my surprise, I got into about 5 over the space of about an hour.

2 Cayos - first one got the "CEO quit" bug, second one was a Velum entry with no Weapon Stash. Didn't make it out of the airstrip.

3 Casinos - Aggressive, SMGs, no Armor, no Duggan. Aggressive, SMGs, no Armor, no Duggan. Aggressive, SMGs, had Armor but the host switched out to no Armor, No Duggan. Only one of them made it to the basement, but that was because we used Sewer entry, and some yahoo went running up to the elevator & got killed, the other two got killed by charging the keypads & trying to open them without shooting a single guard.

Good to see nothing's changed in the world of heists with randoms. Still a bunch of f*cking morons.

Now to get back to playing this multiplayer game by myself...

Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha 😂😂😂

Was going to do an edit, but screw it, this deserves its own post. So, while I was typing that last one I queued up for an OG Heist to try to succeed at something, anything before going back to Solotown. It's not a failure story, more of an "OMG I'm so out of their league" story.

I got HL - EMP. Cool, I like jets.

As usual, I'm the only one who picks the Heavy Vest. Pretty standard.

I also don't much care for driving the boat, so I chose Dave's Free Weevil as my ride so I'd get there last. No dice, I still beat their supers because I can drive & navigate and, clearly, they could not. Sigh. I still didn't drive the boat, but now I look like one of those dicks who refuses to drive the boat.

We get to the carrier. They're doing the "rush forward, nearly die, desperately hide" rookie thing while I skip merrily thru hails of bullets, humming a jaunty tune and removing heads as I go.

I get upstairs and head for the Hydra, since I got up there first. I'm about halfway there when one of the randos sprints up behind and past me, because of course we must all race to be the one to fly the Hydra. Not that it mattered, for in his mad rush to be King Dick he completely ignored the soldiers, who took advantage of Junior's tunnel vision & lack of armor and relieved him of his life. So that puts me in the Hydra.

I notice that all three randos are not too far from me - every bloody one of them, including the one who died, are all running for the Hydra. That I'm already in. These f*cking guys...

I can't help myself. I feel the need to demonstrate how useless they are. I use my cannon to destroy every Lazer on the deck. Never done that to anyone before, but these guys just scream 'mid-air collision'.

I'd love to tell you that I effortlessly dealt with the AI Lazers & brought the Hydra home. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite that simple.

During the dogfight, a missle that I thought I'd dodged managed to get me right in the hubris, blowing off one of my tail rudders and setting my engines a-smoking and a-spluttering. As you can imagine, this made flying straight impossible, and turning left was off the table as well. I'm basically stuck permanently yawing right. And I've still got 4 Lazers in the air with me.

Now, obviously I must not fail after my dick move on the carrier or I win F*ckwit of the Year. I have no choice but to dig deep & channel my inner Maverick. What followed was possibly some of the mightiest combat flying GTA has ever seen.

Rolling & looping like a maniac, mostly while inverted, diving, or inverted diving, spamming missles at anything I got tone on, I bring down the remaining Lazers. Not gonna lie, it was... challenging. But now I have to get this wreck of a plane to Sandy Shores.

I've completely lost my bearings, but thank Odin it was nighttime and I could see the lights of the city wheeling across my screen. Eventually, I get onto a vaguely northern heading, still rolling & inverting to stay on course. I'm like a sailboat tacking against a hurricane, my engine is stalling and my altitude is just ridiculous.

Now, due to the utter lack of fine control, I already know that a conventional landing is simply not happening. I'm going to have to bring it in VTOL, but close enough to the Airfield that the fact that I've got no bloody rudders won't paralyze me in the air. Essentially, I'm going to have to line up with the hangar while inverted, flip the plane about 200m from the door, engage VTOL & drop altitude fast enough to use my momentum to get me through the door without a) stalling & belly-flopping, and b) eating sh*t on the hangar doors or walls since I can't turn.

And that, brothers and sisters, is precisely what I did. It was absolutely magical and truly I am the Heistmaster General. I would hazard a guess that it would've been beyond 99% of the oozing protoplasm that makes up this playerbase. My only regret is that my teammates didn't get to witness my awesome as they were stranded back on the carrier, possibly wondering why my map icon appeared to be doing epileptic cartwheels.

Of course, it could be argued that had I let even one of them into the air with me I might not have got hit at all. Still, I have to admit it was pretty exhilarating and I kind of loved every second of it. I don't think I've ever had that much fun on that mission. Amazing what you can pull off when utter humiliation is at stake 😎

I get to see the gunner on my insurgent pick-up custom steamroll legions of Vagos multiple times on the airfield (the very first Prison Break prep) because an invisible hangar door was blocking the way to the velum player's final objective (plus usual failures at first) .

No attempt ever removed that invisible door if I have to guess, I only managed to discover the problem on the last attempt before someone gave up.

Ah, yes. That "special" kind of host that clearly doesn't want me in his heist.

Those heists always fail in the few seconds it takes me to explain he should have taken the armor he spent time or money sourcing, and me finding a new session.

Some hosts even make it worse by claiming they know what they are doing and they don't need the heavy armor.

Like, wtf if you don't need it, then why get it? That sounds more than a little suspicious to me. I know about a few mod menus that give you all the casino heist preps, don't ask how I know.

You mean Devin Weston's hangar? I noticed they closed the doors for one of those new Dr. Dre missions, and now you're telling us it's also closed in freemode and in the heists?

Yeah, and there's never enough time during outfit selection to tell them. Not that randoms will be told anything. Never mind that it's coming from someone over 600 ranks higher than them. I just toddle along and wait for them to get slaughtered. Usually happens within a few seconds.

Weston's hangar seems fine in free mode to me. Flew a Luxor out of there a few hours ago. And pretty sure I've done a PB - Plane since the update, so I'm thinking OP had a one-off bug or at the very least it's not an Xbone thing.

I don't know if it's a permanent thing, I left the game shortly after I waited for the host to possibly invite again.

It was on Xbox One and I never seen that.

I say go back and check. I imagine you'll see that it's gone, but it would interesting if it wasn't.

On another note - oh god, it's snowing. Humane Labs-EMP is gonna be hilarious.

Edit: boom, just got the bug. As Pilot on Prison Break. Whole hanger is blocked by an invisible wall. I can smack into it and leave little scrapes & dents floating in the air. Argh.

A few days ago, I started playing GTA Online again.

When I took my usual route in the compound that involves meleeing the minigun guy it would not start the kill animation but run into him, leading to a fail.

I could not believe it and tried it again after restarting, same result, seems they have patched the possibility to kill this guy by using a melee attack, can anyone confirm this?

I think it was the Tuners update that did this. You can still blow him up with one sticky bomb, or quickly give him a couple headshots up close with a rifle.

Personally I wouldn't bother doing that, I just avoid him.

This happened back in late March 2021.

My friend organized a Doomsday Criminal Mastermind two with a guy named TheGame and we were planning to run CM3 and CM4 in the future oh boy it was one of the worst type of player not in terms of ability but in terms in commitment.

After they completed Act 1 Setup 2 the Signal Intercepts setup, the guy who needed the CM2 badge said he needed to "step away from a few". Well ok fair enough, but as time went on my friend messaged him on Discord DM and no response. After a bit he was playing Forza Horizon 2 on his Xbox and then later Mortal Kombat 11 on his PS5. Four hours later after not responding during that time he responded saying "Weekends would work better" but the run was on a Saturday night.

Note: My friend is an expert at helping other players get their Doomsday Criminal Mastermind badges and we relatively have a 100% success rate per Criminal Mastermind run attempts so wasting him time is a huge no no hence why I decided to post it here after not being sure if I should post it for nearly six months.

I have the DMs and my friend said he wouldn't mind that I share them.

Late March 2021. Note the DMs are from my friend and not me.

Four months later..... After the guy thought my friend would forget about this whole ordeal.

You don't just leave in a middle of a Criminal Mastermind run without letting your teammates know and putting them in the dark. If something urgent came up then make sure to let your teammates know and they'll be ok as they prioritize real life stuff first, this guy certainly didn't make the effort to let my friend know about his status and only got "Step away for a few" only to be playing other games in a middle of a Criminal Mastermind run that my friend organized and is spending his time and expertise on helping him get the Masterminds trophy.

The dude seems desperate that he couldn't find someone who will help for him to get a CM2 so he went back to my friend thinking he would forget but unfortunately for him, such events of ditching the run in progress pretty much hasn't happened to me or my friend so something like this would be hard to forget.

Moral of the story? Never Fu*k off your teammates midway in a Criminal Mastermind run unless it's urgent.

LMAO.

I think it was the Tuners update that did this. You can still blow him up with one sticky bomb, or quickly give him a couple headshots up close with a rifle.

Personally I wouldn't bother doing that, I just avoid him.

Yeah well, I figured out to avoid him, but back then when he could be taken out by melee I preferred to do so just to have him out of the equation, did mit cost 5 seconds only anyway. Thanks anyway for the conformation of it.

I've noticed that people tend to put the most inexperienced player as a pilot and that's a total mistake. Most of my failures I can sum up as "The Velum has been destroyed", "The Valkyrie has been destroyed" because the leader decided it was a good idea to put in someone who has practically never played GTA as it would be "less annoying". It's best to put him with a more experienced player and recommend that he stay back supporting the team from afar, but never, ever leave him at the controls of anything.

Super Grunt 281

Randoms will still find a way to fail the mission, like those super spies in fiction sneaking where they wish even if it's 'the most secure place in the world' or under someone's hat, except it's negative.

I still can't be annoyed too much by Valkyrie pilots taking missiles in the back, my way of rushing one helicopter before they gather was too straight one day and both blew up, mission fail.

Sigh, today I learned you just can't fix stupid.

So I'm dicking around during cooldowns and an invite for the Casino Heist pops up. S&S,so I figure why not?

It's a clusterf*ck. Paleto Arcade, 15%, 4 man Cash. The randoms scour the earth to find ways to alert the guards. No Duggan, either, so it was fun to watch noobs open up & get instantly slaughtered.

After being forced through 3 stupid restarts I'm more than ready to bail; however, I notice that the host has done all the preps bar Duggan. And it's Christmas, so I decide to be generous.

I tell the host that we can do this with the two of us and I'll show him how to get in, out and away undetected. I ask for 30%, on the grounds that 70% of something is better than 55% of nothing. He agrees.

I tell him to stay 5 feet behind me, I'll do everything and he just grabs open tables in the vault - no hacking, no drilling. Just grab cash. I'll take care of everything else. He agrees.

A dream come true for a lowly rank 37 hosting his first DCH, right? Just follow along, learn how to do the heist properly & collect a free million bucks to boot. You'd think it would incentivise him to do his best and do what I ask. You'd f*cking think...

The first fail was in the basement. You know the camera in the elevator section? I zapped it, ran around to take out the walking guard, looped back & into the foyer. Host is dithering around trying to keep up. Camera comes back on & he walks out and stops right in front of it. Alarms, death.

The second fail was the most painful. We got to the vault, I reiterated via message "Just open tables. No hacking, no drilling". I hack one door, we pull about $1.5M. Not bad for two man Cash. But I'm on the last open table with 50-odd seconds to go. Captain ADHD has nothing left to do, but instead of heading out he decides he's going crowd me (which he's been doing the whole time, despite me asking him politely to not do that). At 30 seconds, he sees a prompt on his screen and hits it; yep, he's just been sucked into a hack. The animations alone are 20 seconds. He might even have made it out if he'd jump-run. But he didn't. Alarm. I'm not fighting my way out thru fully armed & armoured guards, so I suck down a lungful of gas. Twice.

Third attempt. We get to the security room on the first floor. Elevator guard is patrolling back, host just... stands in the doorway, watching the guard walk right at him. Alarm. Death.

I was done at that point. I gave the guy one job. I was prepared to carry him thru the whole thing and he just couldn't follow that one simple instruction - stay behind me. Crowding me, rushing ahead, being impatient.

The stupid is just so, so real in this game. You can't even drag fools kicking and screaming into piles of cash. And it still blows my mind that almost every last random I do DCH with has absolutely zero clue what to do. Like, none. I did a Bugstars earlier, and 3 players got lost. Just kept running up the stairs & into the hotel, then couldn't figure out how to get back down. How are there so many players this f*cking terrible? You'd think they'd get disheartened at their own suckage and quit...

God-eater

I'll keep this one short because a) it's DCH and b) I'm hungover as f*ck (Happy New Year from Down Under).

So, I'm to ruined to do anything but play GTA, and grinding out Sec Contracts is doing my head in, so I decide to break it up & queue up for a DCH.

I get into a 4-man Gold, Gruppe Sechs entry. 15% cut but whatever. Everyone is triple digits. Host does the setup fluidly enough to not give me any concerns. On paper, it looks like a goer.

We get in, all preps are done (guards have no helmets, L2 sec passes in play, Patrol Routes & even Sec Intel is done).

Hit the vault. Host runs to a door & starts hacking (I know, right? Imagine that). One of the others hits the other door so I go on gold scooping duty.

Second door hacker f*cks it up & triggers the alarm, but we have AR's so I'm confident we can fight our way out. Kind of expected someone to huff some nerve gas, but no.

I do my usual beast mode and three of us are standing at the staff door in short order. Host is farting around in the laundry room for some reason and gets killed. Restart. Again, three of us are standing at the staff door while the host is lagging way behind. Host gets killed. Ragequits.

Motherf*cker. Thanks for the huge waste of time, asshole. Whatever happened to the old etiquette of "if you cause the fail, you must hit restart"? I'd have been totally fine with me or one of the other two quitting, because DCH has a history of failspirals, but the Host? He's looking at roughly $1.1 million in his pocket, is clearly being carried thru by a decent team, but decides to ragequit because he can't keep up and/or did something stupid? I mutter at thee, sir.

Ok, longer than I intended. I think I'll go puke & take a small nap now. Felt good to vent, tho. 😫

Already mentionned it, its depressing to play entire mission and low level fails to land in average conditions(no CMM, no Elite). Velum and Valk pilots are my fav roles.

As I already said, its best to put the most experienced player as pilot with the weakest player as Valk gunner, it works well. Unless he jumps out from Valk nothing can happen, as Pilot you're the one who decide what he has to destroy+ you're the one dogding missles.

And ground team(outside Elite with no armor) is pretty easy with Utility Vest: shoot RPG, switch to assault shotgun, switch back to RPG...
