Or 5-10 minutes to steal them. If you don't like the valet mission, restart your session until you get the croupier.

This is where I draw the line, because I outright refuse to hack keypads. I can hack them just fine using PrintScreen and Paint on my second screen, I just won't. I will make the host do it.

edit 1: If I hack keypads, the only thing those hosts learn, is that they can be lazy and someone else will hack them, and that they can get away with no keycards. They won't learn to hack keypads.

Their argument "you wanna be paid don't you?" is lost on me, as I don't join heists for money, but to collect failure stories.

edit 2: For the record, I never troll or fail a heist on purpose, I'm just there to watch other people do that.

I don't have a phone but the Xbox One has a recording function, why I forgot about that during the heist is a mystery.

I had plenty of knowledge to prepare my first Diamond Casino Heist as host so I knew the missions for level 2 keycards, I knew everything important.

My contact is a reliable person but I was very annoyed with him going all cheap while thinking it would give the most money.

He's wrong though. Hacking all the keypads means you forego the elite challenge because that hack is slow as f*ck (elite challenge doesn't apply with randoms but you say he's a contact) and even spending money on them would result in a higher payout.

I can complete a fingerprint in 5 seconds because I have done so many, I know exactly which 4 to pick on the left, without even looking at the complete picture on the right.

But the dots take forever to show up and for you to put them in.

I don't even think it crossed his mind, he pulled the same BS words for the Cayo Perico heist by refusing to check the loot around the waters of the main docks in the case of gold being non existent or lacking. Backed up by me adding the fact that I got elite solo sometimes.

Basically picking money in compound for easy escape/elite versus risking elite by looting docks (if it's better) .

I guess I'm a fool for taking his words exactly.

I assume by money in compound, you mean cash as loot? Sure, take it, especially with 2 players, and make your easy escape.

You should know beforehand if gold is lacking or non existent. All you have to do is check the cameras.

There is no excuse for not checking all the storage cameras or the airfield hangars, right where you spawn during the scope. (6 loot spots in total)

I don't really mind if the docks weren't scoped, as you have to go out of your way to scope those, and you risk getting caught.

But as a rule, when I join someone's Cayo heist, unless there is coke or gold already on the map from the scope, I'll take whatever loot I find first, preferably cash to rub it in.

I buy the passes xd I don't want to play another mission for that, I meant to use RL phone to hack if you really want to stay in a heist you joined but personally I just say to the host he must buy Security Passes and suscribe to GhillieMaster for the lolz and GTFO from there because 70k changes nothing to the economic outcome of the heist. Eventually the heist has more chance to completly fail because ppl ragequiting with the hack part.

10 min is long for me when doing setups, there are so many missions yet where you have to travel back and forth to grab two bags.

PB with randoms(all low levels ranging from 20 to 30):

-Host listened, went as prisoner, picked the minigun, did well

-I told Demo to fly around and leave the Lazer alone, I can completly control it now, even to make it crash like when playing IE with my Cargobob and crash the NPC choppers against pylons or towers, its fun!

-Officer died but ok, it was on normal.

-we almost made it, landed and picked the team at the satellite dishes, safer.

-Demo crashed while we were parachuting, because why not after all "The Buzzard was Destroyed" fail message popped. I ragequited.

Had a PB finale myself:

First try: Pilot was really SLOW, meaning I had to circle around the airfield for at least a minute. Finally he managed to land, I get out of the armored van... a NOOSE jeep gets summoned right next to the van, crashes me into it while I am getting out and the NPCs do obliterate me in a blink of an eye.

Second try: Officer is driving the bus. Game says: Officer alerted the guards. I was friggin there - he did nothing different than any other time I've drove that same bus as an Officer. So this is how this works, OK.

Third try: Pilot keeps being SLOW AF, but this time I''m extra careful. Again we get surrounded really fast on the airfield, but we managed to pull it off.

All in all was a competent crew as Demo was bombing and helping us in the prison, but f*ck this Pilot, dude. Don't be so SLOW as one when you have to pick the guys from prison. The NPC spawns are INSANE.

This was with randoms. It was on Normal and we suffered one death.

The run did not fail even once, but we got Noose called, and everyone fought the cops in the alley.

So, we managed to lose 39.6% of the take, from beginning to end, in a single run.

Host left at the end too, to do the restart glitch.

That's a raises a very good point.

Even though you COULD start Duggan Shipments and not destroy a single vehicle, I wonder if R* could go back and add a Mandatory flag to that Prep Mission on just the Aggressive Approach, (even though it would ruin the neat seperation of Mandatories & Optionals that the UI department would've worked hard on finalizing), because why would anyone (who doesn't breathe through their mouth whilst having their lips wrapped around their tounge (emulate at your own risk)) not do such a mission under the circumstance they're gonna go in guns blazing and take the security head-on?

Because laziness and not thinking enough, the latter is true for every heist.

Definitely, the payouts are ridiculous, also:

-Make setups 2-4 players, just like Doomsday setups

-Above 2 players if someone quits it doesn't fail the mission

Had a good run with 3 argentinean low levels(30-50) who were doing their first pacstand, we made it with LSPD car, ended with 1.190 000 (lost money in alley, but no suicide at bikes), later I invited them to my horrible Casino agressive and they made it, zero death, Sentinel getaway through Madrazo ranch area once again, they understood this route was very good to play super safe(but no sewer too boring, I wanted to graze the failure point to test their listening capacity xd).

As such, it proves, when you get inexperienced guys who listen its easy, like a script.

Heli didn't spawn, the other ones were Russians, doing this for the first time. Failed to get Avi to the safe house in time cause "boat is too slow", while they had to circle through Mount Gordo to get there. Told them to leave me drive the boat. No. they have to drive it. "Go right!" meant "Go left!" and when I threw the f*cker off the wheel he quit the game.

Now I am sitting waist deep in the water near Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness near Paleto Cove, fishing.

5 stars experience.

Just got an utter HL fail...

-Met that host at Valkyrie setup, everything's fine, we get in kuruma and play the setup only both of us while the two others are braindeading around Compton.

-Deliver EMP was crazy good

Then final came one day later:

This lvl 100 host despite I explained him he had to go as Ground Team during Valkyrie setup, picked pilot role for himself(despite me telling him again I wanted to be pilot), lvl 58 went as gunner and I finally accepted to go as Ground with some russian tryhard because I already wasted my time playing setups. Ground is easy in a casual run, just wear Heavy Vest, spam RPG, assault shotgun. The host could have done it if he hadn't been versatile and stubborn and accepted to go as Ground.

Here the result, poor attack chopper destroyed when landed , blocked this guy so I won't spawn in one of his heists xd

Not a fail cause it was a success at the end, but the road toward it was exhausting for me:

it all starts in the bank when someone killed a hostage the moment they entered the bank. I'm like "OK, this can go really sideways or the guy knows about the NOOSE van". Cash is collected and off to the doors we are. Here I have to point that host had heard from somewhere and had set for Player Saved Outfits and gave everybody 25%, so I felt obliged to do everything I can to make this happen. I gave them 2 tries to try get to somewhere farther than the alley. Then I wrote in chat "Guys, please go out the bank and get back in so I can get the safepoint". All but one listened. He got obliterated at the alley in no time again. He stayed in the bank next time. I was somehow impressed - safepoint secured!

Now here is where it became kinda weird. Because they listened, I decide to give them short instructions: "Down the road - big armored truck. Inside - safe, outside - DEATH". Everybody stopped for the truck. I was in shock. Unfortunately, the game spawned like 10 cop cars around the truck and everybody was trying to get inside first and shoot the cops later. They didn't make it. Second try - the game had decided that once we stop near the truck heaven will fall on top of our heads in the form of police officers, I was fine with the Vest, but the rest of the guys, well... I had to wrote in chat "Stay where you are, I'll bring the truck". Brought it with apparently 20 police cruisers - crew obliterated again. Here I started sweating cause - WTF, I've never witnessed such an intense cops spawn in this heist? Took us two more tries till they've managed to get in said truck... who got one of its back doors ripped in the process, but happily it did not turned to be fatal as we managed to scoop 1.1 mil in total.

The hardest earned 25% in my career. Kudos to the rest of the crew that was listening to me, but gosh, did it get embarrassing when they could not get in this truck. And I mean embarrassing for me, cause it was like I was lying to them with this INSANE police spawn. Jesus wept. Had to take a shower after.

Successful Prison Break after several failures and changing one random.

0% sweat in the prison on every attempt (I was guard once again too) , the Velum pilot had the most failures of both players outside.

The host (as prisonner) died at the end on one attempt, killed by hitting the ground too hard or bladed by the Buzzard pilot who slammed the ground in shallow water near the host, he went down pretty fast so maybe the host couldn't avoid it, I couldn't tell from my angle what happened exactly.

Prison break. Host and his friend ground team, me (random) pilot, another lowbie random on demolition.

When random joins, first thing he asks is if we're cheaters, because we're all over level 200, and he is only rank 20. He also had to watch the tutorial for the finale screen.

So, I ask him if he can fly a helicopter, to which he replies "I god", I assume he meant good, not God.

I picked up the plane quickly and took a quick pitstop. When I got back, the heist had restarted, apparently demolition had failed because he said sorry in the chat.

Next round, I found out he was neither good nor God, because while I was waiting in my plane for my timer to run out, on the dirt trail between Madrazo's ranch and the farmhouse bunker, he landed the buzzard next to me, got out, walked into my propeller and died.

edit: his replacement just blew up the Buzzard while throwing a sticky bomb at the guards next to it.

Today I was doing Cayo Perico Alkonost approach. I managed to clear everyone in the compound entrance and got the keycode. My teammate hardly done anything, so we entered and I killed the gate key guard and did the hack as normal. After the hack, the host didn't do the cutting torch prep so I had to use the detonator for the main loot which was Ruby Necklace which alerted the guards unfortunately and he rage quits when we could've restarted inside the compound and get all the loot that can be carried but no he decides to throw a tantrum and rage quit. Wow that noob managed to waste my time and expertise on a good run all because he was too lazy to the the cutting torch prep and he refuses to do a simple quick restart which I would've gotten the secondary loots first. Mind you he's R279.

This is a cautionary tale for all you low ranks out there:

joined a PacSt Finale with a 6, a 9 and a 34. On the cuts screen I've been given 10%. Unready immediately. After a short waiting I was asked to hit Enter. I replied that I ain't playing for less than 15%. "lol, you have hundreds of millions at your rank, why bother with 15k?" "Cause it's principle - you are paying for my service and experience". Kudos to Host - he gave me my 15% almost immediately, although he was mumbling all the time. We play. Going out of the bank, I'm pulling way ahead (as usual), watching the minimap... the entire crew is stuck in the alley is what I see - I blow the bikes up, kill myself "Checkpoint" I write in chat among the silence. We start at the bikes, chat blows up, "Oh, wow, this was genius!" I'm like... "duh, it's on the interwebz".

Unfortunately, when we got at the small bridge before the tunnel, cops spawn got INSANE (I think this happens when all of you are close together, as was the case with all of them following me, without me even asking them, kinda impressive, actually) and I could not manage to clean them up with the grenade launcher fast enough, so someone died. Second try - someone shot at the cops. Ded. Restart. "Don't shoot the copes cause x3 spawns". Third try - someone dies. Fourth try - same. Host is crying "Can we do full restart, we lost 300k?" I'm like "Whatever". Was mentally checked out. He bailed.

To my surprise, he did sent me an invite almost immediately, I was like... let's try this suffering one more time... I'm curious... and prone to suffering... he gave me... well, 15% again. Anyway. On the way to the bank, he asks if they can stay in the bank, while I go for the checkpoint. I was like "Thank God - common sense in Randos!" and wrote in chat that I have a better idea, and explained the Armored Truck scenario. All agree to do this. Well, I needed 4 tries to get to the checkpoint, cause they took "stay in the bank" way too literally and finally got why they should "Watch my right!" while we were cleaning the cops in front of the bank. Managed to get to the Checkpoint, they waited for me to bring the truck, were careful with the cops around it, were careful with the cops that spawned around the boat and we finished the heist losing 2k.

As a farewell I told Mr. Host "THAT is why you never give less than 15%. And next time be sure to switch Outfits to Player Saved, so you can make this easy for guys like me" and disconnected (because I didn't want to get any friend requests, cause I am an a--hole).

I bet the host never scoped the drainage tunnel or he would do the cutting torch instead of the explosives.

Even I am not that crazy. (coming from someone who gets his bunker raided on purpose just to experience that mission where you have to steal that Valkyrie undetected or blow it up)

Why didn't you didn't make him set player saved outfits for the second run? Did he launch before you could ask?

Also, I agree with the experience thing. You get what you pay for. For 10%, I don't care if we pass or not.

Here's my heist failure story.

I was doing a Casino heist Big Con approach with Bugstars disguise. Four players joined and we entered the Casino as normal and gotten through the basement. I try to solo kill the guards but for someone got detected by shooting his unsilenced pistol and the host didn't do the Duggan shipments which is good for me as it makes us stealth it again after restarting but the host quitted out.

He invited me back ASAP and it was only me and him. We entered the basement and all the guards are stationary which has happened to me a few times so the way to fix that is to do a continue and try again. But we didn't do that since I feel board playing and needed to go soon and plus there's no guarantees he'll invite me again (no I don't want to message him since I don't want another friend request having had too much friend requests already) so I try to pistol whip the guards but they were in the line of sight of the camera so no matter what I do, they will get detected by the camera so after a few tries, we try taking the alternate route but the host didn't do L2 security passes so we have to hack and my memory is bad, ok fair enough since it was his first try and probably doesn't know about the keycards. After several more tries I turned off my PS4 and called it a day. I couldn't shoot the cameras because the Pistol on Big con is not silent so we would've gotten detected.

The host was pretty decent but due to time constraints and burn out on my part, I had to go off.

A real decent host would have the L2 keycards, but seeing this was his first time (Bugstars team of 4) I hope you told him about the keycards? And maybe the security entrance?

My fail of the day: (at least 50% of the blame goes to me for not paying attention)

I was randomly cruising around and I accepted a heist invite which I thought was Humane Raid - EMP.

It was on easy mode, but I wasn't paying attention and I'm fine doing the Hydra mission on easy, because someone always dies.

We get 4 players, mission launches, and I discover it's Deliver EMP instead of the Hydra mission.

I decide not to be a dick and quit on the spot (in hindsight, I should have), but I stayed to find out why the host had put this mission on easy. Maybe he had bad randoms on a previous run. (he was Chinese)

We get to Humane labs in the Insurgent, I get out of the car to shoot some guards... and the host himself races the Insurgent right into Humane Labs (right past everyone), mission failed.

Having seen enough stupidity from one host in one mission, I thank him for wasting my time and quit.
