I sighed loudly as I was like the Demo like ALWAYS. Hate that long ass drive on failures -_-

 

I texted him "USE COVER AND SNACKS/AMMO"

He replied "Guard shot me for no reason" ...................................

Restart, as soon as I get past the Prison again...... Prisoner has died *quits*

I wonder who he thought the enemies would have been in the prison.

Humane labs first setup:

The player rides his bicycle, making us wait.

I didn't plan on helping after that. Just watched him die and left the heist.

No way was I going to wait for his bicycle trip each setup.

It's much further to the other setups.

Humane Labs Valkyrie, I fly the heli (because everyone else gets us shot down). I'm at destination, just about to touch down on the marker but the angle is not completely right and I'm afraid I could hit the house so I go back up a few meters to rotate the bird.

 

That's when the game completely locks out the controls so I cannot do anything, the heli blows up and everyone dies.

 

But then, green screen: Setup passed and we see the cinematic of the heli touching down

Just remembered one non-almost-failure.

Reminds me of a similar scenario I was in. The pilot was absolute rubbish and was hit by most of the rockets sent his way. We ended up having the plane failing and we were really close to the drop off.

 

The pilot jumped off the plane immediately after noticing plane was going down. I, being im the co pilot seat, attempt to land the bird as it's propeller began moving slowly and decreased in altitude. But with plenty of effort and experience, I managed to land it safely and pass the heist.

 

I later find out (from a friend who actually bought the heli) that anyone can really man the plane from all the seats. We used it for a massive 5 star shoot out. The two who I played with where im the front and I was in the back. They bailed after the helicopter took enough shots to waste the engine. They bailed not even alerting me, practically leaving me for dead. But I then hopped into the pilot seat and to my surprise landed it even with the engines failing. I was the only surviver of the 5 star wanted level.

So many fails in PSJ.

 

-guy dies on blue barricade leaving the bike storage as he stacked it on them and got collected by another bike leaving the area

 

-4 of us get in a cop car and make it to the jump. All jump up but car accelerates killing 2 of us. Cause of death - playerX flattened us

 

-4 of us make it to the jump on each bike. 3/4 in dinghy. 4th guy suicides and is stuck on mountainside with no time left to get down to the boat

 

-again, 4 of us make it to the jump in each bike. We all jump, my guy free falls than glides, deploy parachute, clip a cliff slide, slowly slither off the side of the cliff and die

 

-2 of us get in riot van and head straight to boat and wait. Other 2 refuse and persist with the jump. Sitting, waiting, playerX has committed suicide

 

That was all with the same group of 4 and we all decided enough was enough and went our seperate ways.

Quarry a little uneven I'm having trouble getting out and dude is in the passenger seat just chillin

Doing nothing,..never gets on the gun, just sitting there...

 

I thought these was regular LSPD helicopters, but crap man! they lighting us up with mini guns.

I got my mic off but I'm yellin at the tv "yo man do something"!?...

 

What happen next was right from the movie Harlem nights...helicopter blam blam blam, merryweather blam blam blam..Dude had a regular pistol..I sh*te you not!...and going pap....pap

 

It's raining bullets, I'm weaving roadblocks, gargling m&ms and powerbars, my health staying red....

You explain it like a kid, quite the chuckle tbh, but I also experienced something very similar actually. Just like yours, guy gets in and I drive, however he doesn't shoot...ever...just afk while I drive, meanwhile im having to drive off road, through hills and sh*t, merryweather all over the place finally got to the end though, got out and just blew everything up.

Perhaps two of the stupidest things I've seen from the game itself are the fact that you take damage from ever-so-slowly rolling down a hill, and the fact that while you can be rolling extremely slow, your character for whatever reason, absoulutely cannot stop themselves and even attempt to get up.

Pac Stan finale yesterday. As always, I join a random team, but somehow I manage to join the MOST INCOMPETENT CREW EVER! Check this out:

-First attempt, guy riding his motorbike manages to die BEFORE we get to the bank, restart;

-Second attempt, level 47 blasts the security guard with auto shotty, kills a civilian as collateral, I think with myself "this is not gonna end up well" then the NOOSE gets alerted, I destroy the destroy the doors and the hacker open the main door quite quickly, we're getting the cash then BANG, contention gets killed by one of the guards. Restart;

-Third attempt, we have to do everything again, contention kills another civilian and alerts the noose, I go to collect the cash but before sending him a passive agressive text message saying how much he sucks, we proceed to the door, the cutscene ends and somebody melee attacks me before I can do anything, I die. Restart;

-Fourth attempt, me and the hacker manage to clear the street just fine, while the contention crew stands back(I know, I was carrying the cash but at that point I knew they wouldn't be able to handle theirselves against the cops), we get to the alleyway, I take the shortcut to the right to jump through the yards, NOBODY follows me, hacker dies, but not before loosing about 300k of the take. Restart;

-Fifth attempt, same sh*t, contetion dies, take gets reduced to 700k, restart;

-Sixth attempt, I pull my minigun and go crazy on the cops to make sure none dies, we get to the bike and split up, I follow the GPS route until the bridge after Stab city, soon as I get to the trials leading to the boat, hacker dies. Restart;

-Seventh attempt, same sh*t, I check my radar and see that contention member stopped moving and his arrow was spinning so I figured out he crashed, I got that right, he was uphill and his bike rolled down the hill, I pick him up, but not before he takes atleast a full minute before deciding whether or not he should go with me, he gets in the bike, hacker dies.

-eighth(?) attempt, the take gets reduced to 590k, I get to the boat and fend off the cops until the crew gets there, one of them tries to jump off the cliff, falls and dies. that was when I was done and quit them;

After that I sent multiple texts messages to EVERYONE on the crew saying how much they suck on the game and I hope to never see them in the game again. ...thank god I didn't had a mic.

We're doing 'The Prison Break' on hard. I land the Velum ready to pick up the team and the prison guard runs straight to the plane's propeller. I expected better from the host.

Pacific Standard Signal, I'm the host with a bunch of low levels. A level 14, 28 and 46. Because of this I put it on easy...these guys were awful. The worst however was the 28 some little kid with a mic. Now I'm not against kids playing gta but if you're going to talk the talk then you better have the skills too back it up. Any case we get to the island and the 46 and 28 get killed instantly. Luckily I was able to clear out all the enemies and get to the hut first. Cutscene ends and I hop out of the boat to take out the chopper...The 28 hops into the boat and drives off with the 46 and the 14 follows them on a jet ski. Not 1 second after I take out the helicopter the 28 dies...restart. Once again I get to the hut first and this time avi gets out of the boat with me...and again the 28 takes the boat. This time though I take out the heli and use the remaining jet ski to get to the destination. This has happened to me in other lobbies but low levels in this set up are so insistant of going the long way around all the way to paleto bay instead of cutting through the canyon. Anyway since it was just me and Avi I decided to try out this tactic of taking a car that's on the shore of the canyon and driving to grapeseed. This works and I arrive with no cops while the 28 is screaming at the 46 to get the cops off him...the 14 made it to grapeseed aswell which I thought was impressive.

 

Other story. It was the Hydra mission and we get this guy (I think he was like level 60) and he will not shut up about how he has completed the mission tons of times. Since the lobby was full of mainly high levels I set it to normal. Sure enough we get to the boat and the 60 charges into the room and gets killed instantly. We clear out the lower area and are making our way up when he decides to run up ahead only to get killed again. So as a joke I get on my mic and say "I thought you said you've done this tons of times" he responds with "I've only done it twice and usually everyone isn't so useless"...He had killed two people and used up both of the lives. So I say "You got two kills and died twice". Anyway he quits immediately after the mission restarts.

The Pacific Standard finale with two fairly low level randoms and an Xbox Live friend, who among all their screw ups had time to talk sh*t about my character, who was f-up free for this heist finale.

 

They first hit me with a car on purpose outside the bank, heist leader and hacker had never done this heist yet...and took too long finding the vault for only one of us to have time to grab all the money. They kept dieing to the point we lost too much money and just started over again. Best part was the two of them went right to the Dinghy while two of us took bikes to the cliff jump. While we were closing in on the bridge we kept seeing the amount of money go down, and the hacker/heist leader died.

 

Second attempt at this heist! CC killed two hostages and had NOOSE called on us. We decided to start over a third time. What was almost a fail for me, was rushing out of the bank and fighting NOOSE and LSPD with just my default pistol, as we were going to start over anyway. With the other three team members helping me, I managed to get well down the first alley we're told to run into before being killed. (Editing in a video later).

 

Third attempt. After a warning between the two crown controls not to shoot the chandelier again, which was probably how the second hostage died in attempt #2, everyone almost had their sh*t together on this heist, and we made it to the bikes on the first attempt. I waited in the bank, but lost a bit of money because they killed all the Police in front of them, and ran for the alley. So I had to run from the bank and had a shoot out with three Police Officers they weren't arsed to take out. We got to the bikes with 181 million and change, and my XBL friend kept suiciding while trying to take out Police helicopters, so he could get us all into his apartment and take his armored Kuruma. Finally he managed to kill the helicopters and not him self, we all got into his apartment eventually, and rolled to the cliff jump in his Kuruma. He just drove it and us off the cliff, down into the river, and we swam to the boat. On this jump he made a rough landing and the money fell to 1,750,000 and change. Yay for realism, in which case the money my character dropped would've stayed inside the car and could've been picked up again. But oh well, three of us still made two hundred thousand and change, the heist leader got his forty percent cut and the first time bonus.

If you people think that you met an incompetent crew,think again. I just met the worst crew of Pacific Standard Job. At first the host sets it on easy. I'm alright with it since there is a level 10 in the lobby. Everything goes OK until we reach the bank,where everything went to sh*t.

 

The bikes aren't even involved.Because we can't even get out of the bank. We walked in,the crowd control handled OK. The demo took a full minute to figure out what to do. The hacker is absolute sh*t.He went to the vault and practically quit trying to hack it. At this time the crowd control shot enough people to trigger the alarm.The hacker came up and killed a few more of them,and never went back down. At that time I had enough and started throwing grenades here and there and let the heist reaches its timer.

 

On the restart screen I just quit. If the hacker cannot get his sh*t done.How could he get it the second time?

Recently, mine was the Prison Break, and the leader just had to put me as a Prisoner/Prison Officer, instead of Pilot/Demolition. And no, its not that being as Prisoner or Prison Officer is hard; its just too damn easy for me. I could've done a better job as a pilot or demolition, but nope, a low-ranked player was desperate to fly and miserably fail at doing even the most easiest tasks in a Heist that had resulted in me quitting. The leader should feel embarrassed for putting me in a wrong assignment...

Couple of stories here.

 

Prison break heist. All goes well (I am demolition). I don't land until the parachuter's land to avoid death by heli blade. I then land as I see everyone is down. One has landed on the freeway. We are all waiting for him to get to the chopper and then we see a Sultan on the cliff. He drives off nose first, hits the ground and the car blows up. Cue slight rage and quit by me.

 

Valkyrie set up for Humane labs. First some guy runs me over when I stop to snipe the 2 guards at the front gate, team life gone. I then sneak around the side taking a few guards out while the others go in front gate. We all get to the Valkyrie. Guy pilots it, I get the co-pilot gun. It says to DESTROY the pursuing helicopters. This pilot just runs away meaning I can't aim the OP gun at the helis. We get shot down. We restart, I am the pilot, I head towards the helis instead of away and then all the helis are down in about 2 minutes. I then drop off the heli mission passed.

Oh god I got a few good ones (although I don't think they're anything you've not heard before!) Inb4 wall of text!

 

Prison Heist:

In TWO DIFFERENT attempts (with admittedly useless randoms), both pilots couldn't understand that the yellow marker was ABOVE them... Lmfao the first guy I tried to ask to make me pilot, found out he only spoke Chinese after he snubbed me, so then I attempted to make contact with him through good ol' Google Translate... Nah, he still wasn't having any of it. So he eventually quit out after 20 minutes of flying around (I was prison officer in this one, chilaxing in the back seat) Why did I stick around for so long you may ask? Well, I was kinda curious to see what this dude was gonna do, and I guess it was kinda dumb funny |D

 

Second guy, American this time. Heist leader again snubbed me as pilot in favor of his friend (even after I told him I had done this heist a bazillion times before as every role) put me on demo. Must've been the dude's first attempt at this or something. Probably first attempt at flying too. And life. Who knows! Anyway, after flying around for an absolute AGE, finally lost the cops, he plugs in his mic. "Hey guys." His shy voice comes over the speakers. "I can't figure out where to go."

 

I message him "Just fly directly into the yellow marker :)" A few minutes later, he sheepishly responds with "Oh, Okay thanks." I thought, that was a simple enough command right?? WRONG! I watch in horror as he proceeds to plunge the Velum into the water directly below the marker. Omfg talk about facepalm.

 

The Pacific Standard Job:

I got into a game with what I deduced from their unintelligible ranting across the mic were another bunch of vaguely European guys; THREE times we attempted the heist. Why oh why can't people just follow the damn yellow path? Each attempt I reached the boat at least five minutes ahead of them, so I check the map screen to see where they are only to find that they're attempting to make a b-line straight across the map (over mountains mind you) to get to where I am. Anyway, it went like this: one dies the first time, (falling down a hill I guess) the second time someone falls off and gets shot by a cop literally seconds after we get the bikes out, third time is the kicker. They finally muster up enough gumption to merge their two brain cells together and make it up to the jump, so I'm thinking, awesome, f*cking finally. Then this frikken numbskull parachutes full pelt into the side of the boat dying instantly.

 

I quit out the second the game let me : ) My rule is to give people three strikes. Then nah, they're on their own... Yeah yeah, I know, never play with randoms

So I came back from school. I had a really busy week, a couple of tests and I just wanted to relax and get through that damn Prison Break heist.

Three people join in, I set up an equal amount of money for all of us. We do the mission all the way to the part where we have to meet up in the beach. The guy with the Buzard is coming and out of nowhere a teammate starts shooting at the buzzard until it gets broken.

We did the whole heist, but that bitch destroyed the helicopter when we were about to pass the mission. And it was quite difficult.

I just wanted to pass the freaking Prison Break heist and forget about my life problems and I can't catch a break.

Humane Labs: Deliver EMP with all randoms lvl 30's and below After 6 tries i finally get everybody to stay back while i went though and did the Humane Lab Deliver EMP by myself everything is fine i tell them to bring in the insurgent i hack the wall and they drive in i get in the Humane Labs Truck and we start to drive out and as we are driving out and the merryweather guards are driving pass.

 

All 3 of them open fire dispite being told not too...

 

I quit on restart and the leader sends me a message asking me why i quit i said really? you can't figure out why?

Just had it happen. As we're finishing humane labs. The helicopter landing. My brother, one of the other gunners (ground team) says on voice "i wonder what happens if we blow up his car"... "contact vehicle has been destroyed".... at least we just had to redo the takeoff from the beach and the helicopter chase. still was stupid.. everyone was like "wtf are you serious?"

I was just doing 'The Prison Break', I was the prisoner and the host was the pilot. The Velum was destroyed right before I got to Roshkovsky, but I don't blame him, I blame demolitions, for some reason he followed me and the prison guard to the bus on his car... 2nd time, we get Roshkovsky out the prison, the officer is driving and he takes us to the hwy. and the pilot texts me in Spanish "plane" and I reply (in Spanish) "I'm not driving". The officer is halfway north and gets the hang of it and finally drives back to the Velum. We get to the Velum and it's on fire with black smoke coming out the engine, I'm like "Oh sh*t, that's about to blow up". We get in the Velum that's on fire and surprisingly, it doesn't blow up. We lose the cops, now time to go to the "yellow circle", the pilot is flying a few feet above the water, I text him "Go up" and he's flying around for another 5 minutes, the engine stops, we fall into the water and fail. idk if it was because it was on fire or he just gave up, turned off my console and came to bed, didn't even wait for the continue, restart, etc. screen.

 

Why don't hosts check stats before assigning a role? I was going to be the pilot, then he assigned himself as the pilot and assigned me as the prisoner. Demolitions was level 79 and couldn't handle the Buzzard. C'mon team...

Series A Funding - Trashmaster setup

 

Had one idiot driving the garbage truck who refused to listen to directions and back up right to the garbage. On the rare occasion he did, he'd leave the cab of the truck sticking out and get blown away sitting there in the driver's seat. When we tried to have someone else drive the truck, the failure driver from before would attempt stupid sh*t like getting a bus to use as cover, leaving is collectors unprotected. When we tried switching roles, one of the other collectors made a habit of sitting there with a machine gun waiting to kill the gang members instead of just getting the damn bags so we could move on.

 

Spent 2 hours on it and never passed. No excuse for that. Seriously, quickly collecting garbage bags in an efficient manner should not be that difficult.

 

It is actually far easier if you take your time and clear out the vagos at each location. You end up driving away without people shooting at you.

Final Humane Labs set up

 

Doing it with randoms with no mic was not easy, as much of the mission relied on timing and stealth. Took us about 3 times to make it in, another 4/5 goes to get to the end.

We finally finish, killing all the guards and completing the mission, but we still have to make it out. We are on foot and we know Merrywether are heading for us (although they shouldn't be suspicious), we run through the hills. For some f*cking reason R* decided that the security cameras can see ridiculously far into the distance and so we had to sprint non stop for the remaining 1.5 minutes to get out.

 

One guy didn't make it.

(sigh).

That's why you're supposed to hop in that humane labs truck RIGHT next to the garage where you deliver the emp and drive out nice and calm.

The Prison Break seems to be a ride hard bastard doesn't it...

 

I was piloting the Velum like a boss, dodging missiles all day, got the word that the ground team were out of the prison and on the way so I made my way back to the ground. The plane was pointed in the right direction with the doors open and ready to go, the armoured van was rolling down the runway towards me and then bits of police helicopter kicked my arse...

 

Take two.

 

I stayed in the hanger a little longer this time (less jets to worry about that way) and we had no trouble whatsoever until the the ground team arrived on the runway. No heli debris to worry about this time, but as I powered up and lifted up the nose, a NOOSE SUV came out of nowhere and rammed straight into the wing

 

Humane Labs is so much easier....

You shouldn't be dodging jets at all. The pilot can just follow a single jet around and it can never get lock, stay behind it instead of infront of it.

as all of our stories are basically the same i'll just offer some bullet point examples and ask a question of you good people.

 

* Fleeca - i'm in the vault. Heist Failed - other guy shot the customers

* Prison - i'm the pilot, at LSIA waiting for the timer to run down to 2mins. Heist Failed - prison bus arrived at Bollingbrooke. Demo didn't bother jacking the bus.

* Humane - i'm on ground team. Heist Failed - Pilot tried to land IN Humane Labs rather than the marker above.

* Series - i'm in the second truck. Heist Failed - first truck destroyed because the guy driving the Rebel goes tearing off on his own seemingly unaware he's supposed to protect us.

* PacStan - Heist Failed what felt like thousand times during the getaway as team members refuse to accept they're sh*t at riding a motorbike and instead should just get a car and drive to the boat.

 

Question. why do you think so many randoms refuse to read or listen to the instructions the game offers? they demonstrate on a daily basis they haven't a f*cking clue what they're doing (or indeed have the common sense God gave a goat), so why?

Was doing the last heist earlier and the host was on a mic. He was trying to tell us all what to do. I muted him. The heist started and he raged quit a minute into it. Fail.

Like I want some asshole on mic telling me how to play.LOL

For all you mic users that think you know-it-all, "Please STFU."

 

Or you could try just doing what the host wants you to do. He is after all, the host. Even if you like to do it differently or know a better way to do it. Offer suggestions or information, rather than being that asshole that joins people's game and does just whatever he damn well wants to. Or you could try just doing what the host wants you to do. He is after all, the host. Even if you like to do it differently or know a better way to do it. Offer suggestions or information, rather than being that asshole that joins people's game and does just whatever he damn well wants to. People like me are the ones that are invited back and sent friend requests almost every heist/setup I join.

Why is that? Hmm, maybe because I'm a good player.

Almost $50mil from heists and setups since the beginning.

I don't need wanna be know-it-alls telling me how to play heists or anything else in GTAO. Most of the players suck.
