DESCRIPTION:

So I'm working on this mod since December, 2014. The main point is to add the ability to harvest crops (wheat & corn version aswell) to the game.

But it also brings much more features like the following:

  • Lawnmowing
  • Ability to pour wheat from the combine chute
  • Improved Cropduster's pesticides particle effect
  • Farm vehicles spawned around the farmland
  • Dust particle from Combine while harvesting
  • Scripts for spawning farm vehicles like Combine, Tractor, Lawnmower & Cropduster
  • Farm animals (with sounds)
  • New map objects (eg. windmill, old well, scarecrow)
  • Survivalists at The Farm
  • Mini-mission at The Farm field (you need to be in Combine Harvester to start the mission)
  • The Farm's house interior +ability to save game and to play billard inside
  • Plants/flowers on the farm with watering ability
  • Snakes on Snake Farm in desert
  • Some country peds retexture
  • John Deere 6620-8820 series combine retexture
  • New fields textures
  • New wooden fences
  • Some vehicle edits (corn combine, tractor with roof/peak, baler trailer for tractor)
  • As an addition, some carwrecks placed in the Angel Pine Junkyard
  • Fireplace next to The Farm
  • Improved Blueberry Liquor Shop
  • Restored Blueberry Truck Terminal
  • Rooster crowing at 6AM
  • Bale press script
  • Real Combine Harvester sounds
  • Additional bumper trailer for tractor

The yellow fields are the ones that are gonna be "filled" with crops, the red ones are empty (will be haybales there in the future).

The fields marked with tick.png are the fields I already done.

For the moment you can see only one lawn, but I'm gonna make more.

 

Besides the animals kinds you see on the map, there are also rabbits and deers (I'll probably make a simple hunting script) but as static map objects.

I couldn't get any reply from Killer-GTA, he's inactive since 2011. But I think keeping his credits should be ok.

(OLA is necessary to run the mod, otherwise the game keeps crashing while harvesting/driving around most (not all) fields)

As someone who lives in the country, I approve. Great work, man. It's cool to see new content for the countryside in San Andreas.

Please make sure it works with modloader.

 

Also it would be great if you keep it modular. For instance, if I don't want to use textures or new objects, that I still can use everything else.

ModLoader - the replaced files, yeah you can use mod loader. But you have to add new files manually to IMG's.

 

The mod will be released in 2 versions; basic and extended:

Basic: Only crops placed on the fields +some minor scripts/fixes.

Extended: The same with all the rest (animals, objects, additional scripts, and all).

 

Mainly due to the fact that someone may already have another custom objects installed so it will crash the game while loading, cuz the max amount of new objects is 3 (but I think it's rather only 2, as when I try to add 3rd, the game crashes).

Anyways only windmill and well are added as new ones, the rest I replaced with the game's unused models.

 

If you choose the basic version, you could still use some features from extended version.

 

 

Definitely better than Farming Simulator.

Looks neat. Waiting to see more of the Survivalists, might get some inspiration for my mod :p keep up the nice work.

I broke f*cked up the survivalists script :p It often crashes the game when the player leaves house on CJ's farm or even after the game's been loaded.

Gonna rewrite the script some time, probably, maybe.

 

But those 2 rednecks work great (as they're separated scripts):
