Cell phone glitch - tilted to the left/froze

Anyone else have a glitch after the 1.21 update where if you check your email on the phone, the phone tilts to the left and freezes that way? I cannot find a way to get around this, I'm usually stuck with just being able to walk/run around and get in vehicles and drive. Any ideas?

As of right now there's no way to get around that bug.. R* is most likely aware of it by now. For now the only way to put down your phone is by diving out of a vehicle while driving which will result in you taking damage, hence putting your phone away automatically.

I get this too, but thanks for the suggestion of diving out of a vehicle, it saves reloading the whole damn thing.

 

Amazed they didn't pick something so utterly reproducible like this up in the testing process..

The only solution I know of so far is to reinstall the game data/uninstall the update, and cancel the update when you play so you're not playing with an updated version.

 

Otherwise, it may be best to not check your e-mail and wait for Rockstar to fix it.

Same here. I'll probably for now delete new DLC, because i need to finish story.

This just happened to me and I walked into a moving train and took a little injury. When I stood up the phone was holstered again.

Well there is a way for the cellphone glitch.

First you must drive a car,plane or heli. And if u use the phone there and it freezes, there is no other way than to exit the vehicle while its driving so he falls out of vehicle and cellphone glitch will dissapear.

If on foot then get hit by a car or go into water and cellphone will gone.

Its a bit difficult cuz it depends where you are
