Are R* servers finally fixed?

I have been playing all morning and didnt get kicked once! By now i've unlocked the Hydra, Valkerie and the insurgant trucks man i love the turretgun in the back!

Yes it would, I did a Google search simply saying "GTA Online Server Status". First link provides enough detail to tell me that servers are up and running. https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200426246

 

Only problem is that wasn't reliable last night & usually never is when it's this kind of incident.

 

They show "up" most of the night, but the real story is most people can't connect for longer than 30 minutes, if at all.

 

Things have probably calmed down now, but the real test will be tonight when all of EU/US is off work again...

It's probably fine right now, I think most people that are online have been on all morning without issue.

The servers were fine yesterday morning as well. It's peak time in the evening that the servers can't handle. Also, the page showing if the servers are up or down is useless. It said they were up last night, even when nobody could get on.

 

I would expect issues again later, so play now, if you can.

I was waiting for this reply. If people actually looked, there was a small warning triangle in the corner of the "UP" boxes that clearly said about the problems with GTA Online

Actually that was afterwards, also after the triangle was when it was updated to Limited.

 

I'm talking about the hours before they even posted any issues, when there were clearly issues ongoing, So yeah.

From around half 4 (when I first heard of the issues) I checked the website, and the warnings were there. And this was long before it updated to Limited.

Checked at 6 when I was getting on and it was Up with no warnings, checked again later around 7 and it had warnings, and about 10 new pages of complaints in support page. Later on it went Limited.

 

But it's moot anyway, the point was merely that people cannot fully rely on that one link, because as has been the case before & with yesterday, it never gives the full story.

Yeah I expect some minor issues tonight as well; I was playing at 11 PM EST and didn't have issues at all.

I wonder if anyone has got that yet, I was gonna make sure I was first to get it but the release fell on Tuesday and not friday so that screwed that idea up.
