Forced into character creator first time after update

Has anyone else been forced into character creator after the update (PS4)? It says "transferred" on the board I'm holding and my character looks exactly right at that point. Then when I select my character the face is reset. I have tried rebooting the PS4, joining from single player or joining straight to MP from the loading screen. I'm always brought to the character creator. I'm afraid to continue as this might just be an issue RS is working on and I might mess up my character. I had her perfect and now I'd be guessing trying to re-create her :-(
