ALL PLAYED MISSIONS/JOBS NOW GONE OR INCOMPLETE

Hey All,

 

I just thought I give a heads up to everyone that this is a issue currently happening to a lot of players after toady's server issues and to make R* aware as its a bad one if you want to start missions that you have completed before today's update.

 

Basically all jobs whether there contact missions, vs missions, deathmatchs, races that you have completed are now either not showing or coming up as incomplete. I noticed this when i got a invite to cleaning the cat house mission from Martin and it said NEW next to it, i already done it so i was like what;s going on here?

having the same issue it shows that i have not unlocked any missions whatsoever.

The same happened to me. All my missions are gone and the rest of the jobs are marked like I didn't complete them.

Yep. Same here. I did the Flecca heist this morning and flood in the LS river with 0 problems. I remembering thinking... Wow R* servers sure are on their A game today. *chuckles*

 

Calling and requesting a job still works and I noticed they changed Flood the LS river. The 4 SUVs now come when you hit street level. I wonder what else they changed.

Thanks guys more and more seem to be having this issue im wondering what R* response will be because i doubt they will be able to do anything. Server issues seem to have reset some of our stats. Ill be making R* aware of this thread in my recent support ticket.

An update this big, on a game that is already huge, is bound to have glitches and bugs. Compound that with the fact that there are thousands of players and that R* can't really put out a beta to test the update first, you got launch problems.

 

If someone from rockstar does see this post here are some of the bugs I've seen so far(besides the servers, that goes without saying):

 

1) Changed character apperence

2) Missing missions in the job list

3) Can not cycle through "glasses" in interaction menu

4) Pictures in my gallery is gone (I'm thinking this is temporary as the servers are overloaded)

5) Some of my weapon customizations have been changed(just the tint on my homing missle launcher, but in case others have had this problem too)

All of the things you mentioned were working @ 8:30am CST, at least for me. Im not surprised though. Like you said this game is already massive and it got a heavy dose of new content. This has happened at least once before on last gen, regarding the missions not showing up. They fixed it in about a day last time... Honestly Im just glad my leggings are back in my wardrobe.

You didn't happen to do any of the missions marked as 'NEW' even though you already did them before?

 

I was wondering because during this phase while all of the completed missions you've done are missing and you happen to do at least one mission during this time, will it automatically reset all of your completed missions as if you've never done them or just bring back all of your completed missions in a day or so?

 

I'm paranoid because I would like to do at least one contact mission I've already done that was marked as if I never done it, and not make the servers act as if that will be my only completed mission once everything corrects itself, and all of my completed missions won't come back.

Yeh, the scary part of this is that you don't want to touch anything in case what you did affects R* being able to correct things again. Kind of like during launch when if you pressed "try again" during an error message you would accidently delete your character. Hopefully these bugs can correct without users doing something that prevents corrections.

Same problem here. It says I have not unlocked any missions.

The problem at launch was people were playing while the cloud was unavailable, and lost their characters because the data couldn't be saved, myself included. This is different all together and I doubt it will carry any punishing consequences but I don't work for R* so who knows. The last time this happened missions CCII, CCIII and some others were removed from the job list but that was across the board for everyone and not specific to certain players.

Same here, all my contact missions are gone, this happened once before the update but going offine and back in fixed it, not today unfortunately.

 

Tried from 16:30 to 00:30 GMT to get online yesterday, the new extended loading time didn't help either, gave up in the end.

 

Tried again this morning 05:00, took 6 attempts but finally got online, had a look at the additions and started up the job list and the Rockstar contact missions have all gone, I like to do the contacts solo for the challenge, no longer able to.

 

Just hope Rockstar fix this pronto

I only started playing end of Dec 2014, I have worked hard to build up that mission list, the public servers are mostly full of minors and that mission contact list has helped me both learn the game and get to 104 on the level list, so yeah, kind of a big deal when no one is about to play with.

Yeah same here. I mentioned it in the Support/bugs thread on this forum. I still have to open a ticket with R* (couldn't earlier because their support site was lagging to death...)

 

New info tho: Along with missing contact missions, I could not Invite a friend who was *not* bugged. It said that I had to complete the Tutorial first. That's a bug I remember seeing others get in previous patches. So probably something related there.

 

I *could* invite a friend who had the same bug as I did. We both have empty Contact missions. Curiously, after he and I did the first training Heist I was able to invite my first friend to our session. He still has all his Contact missions, I'm still missing mine. Except....

 

If I call up a Contact and do one of their missions it adds that mission to my list of Contact Missions in the Play Job screen. So hopefully I haven't bugged myself by doing that. I'm going to try opening that ticket with R*.

Last night when I got on everything was fine - I always check my stats. This morning I completed the Fleeca heist and got an invite to a job when I was back in free roam - It said NEW. Checked my stats, everything set to 0, checked the jobs themselves, all the checkmarks have been removed from the coronas.

 

I've taken great pride in completing everything available in this game from when it was launched in 2013. Resetting my progress like this will cause me to blow a fuse.

 

This has also affected the platinum awards related to jobs - like the capture and lts awards - yesterday they had some progress on, today they are zero.

 

I've sent in a ticket to R* support about an hour ago.

The flag on my Dukes changed from Australia to Argentina.

 

So I guess there were some bugs in the patch this huge.

All my contact missions are gone also. Looks like it happened after I played a Heist. Before I played Heists all my missions were available. The mission Chopper Tail is back.

I've only done them as Crew Member, but a friend of mine who played as leader has them removed as well.

 

Yeah came here wondering about this my self, a few friends and I realized this when we were gonna play Los Santos Connection to pass the time before lester called with the next Heist, but that didn't happen.

 

I wonder if we're gonna have to go though them all again and try calling them in and waiting for invites etc. or if Rockstar will fix it.

All the missions say they are new to me as well, so that means more money for completing them again, right? Wtf is the problem?

I think R*'s ZX81 based servers are suffering wobbly ram pack issues.

All missions gone here too, I also noticed that all the gang attacks are also reset as if I hadn't done them yet. I am going to hope that this is fixable, too much work just got flushed.

 

Unrelated, why can we still not buy the dang cargobob?
