Questions from someone who can't play heists yet

I am really excited to finally play the online heists, but my PS3 died recently and I still haven't got the money for a PS4. Therefore, currently no heists for me, maybe next month if I'm lucky.

 

Either way, before I get my hands on GTA Online again, there are some things I'd like to know about the Heists update, and I would really appreciate if someone answered them.

• Of the new land vehicles, which ones are for Pegasus and which ones can be stored in garages? I assume the Guardian can be stored judging by all the pics of customized ones I saw, what about the others?
• Performance wise, how is the Casco? Does it finally tear the Z-Type a new one in races? Also, does it have any visual modifications?
• Are the new aircraft (Hydra, Savage and Valkyrie) any good? How does the Savage compare to the Buzzard and the Hydra to the Lazer?
• Can you pair with randoms for heists? Rockstar doesn't say so on the official articles, but then again, I might have heard some people saying otherwise.
• Approximately how much time did it take for you to complete the Flecca Job? If it's short enough I might be able to give it a go on my bud's PS4, at least just to get a taste.
• Overall, has the Heists experience been enjoyable?

idk about the first 3 but yes you can play with randoms, i did although there are alot of trolls so be aware of that

 

the flecca job (heist only) took me about 10 minutes it's really short and the pay out is pretty okay

 

and the heists update is the best gta update till date in my opinion everything about it is just so awesome only the servers are abit buggy now but that'll get fixed

the two kuramas and the armored insurgent are garage vehicles

 

the savage is absolutely insane, it has the lazer's cannons only twice as fast and the buzzards homing rockets only four times as fast

the valkyrie is also absolutely insane, not for the pilot though who cannot control any of the guns

 

the hydra is great- slower than the lazer but it's cannons have longer range which makes it a pretty even dogfight

 

 

 

i havent gotten a chance to try out the casco

Only the Hydra, Savage, Valkyrie, and Armed Insurgent are Pegasus vehicles. Casco, Guardian, Enduro, Lectro, and both Kurumas are personal vehicles.

 

Casco seems to have insane handling response - certainly way above what a classic car should have.

you can customize and paint the two kurumas, not the insurgent though

 

actually, not sure about paint on the armored kuruma but you can drive it into LSC for engine upgrades and etc

Hey man what happened to your ps3? most of the time it's just a bad hard drive which is cheap and easy to fix let me know I can probably help u fix it, unless u spiked water in or something

Thanks everyone, good to have my questions answered! Now all I need to know is the performance of the Casco, but I guess I'll discover that in the obligatory Broughty video.

Well, if you think you can help:

 

First it started with the PS3 simply crashing and shutting down out of nothing during games, briefly displaying the yellow light and then turning to red. That progressively started happening more often, getting to the point where I could rarely get past the loading screen of GTA V, and culminating in me barely being able to reach the XMB. If that wasn't bad enough, after multiple tries the PS3 went into automatic / unstoppable data restore whenever I booted it up, and when the data restore finished the screen would just go to black for a few minutes and suddenly the console would restart, asking once again for the data restore. I tried getting past it on the recovery menu, but independently from what option I selected on the recovery, it never got past the "Preparing... Please wait" screen.

 

I guess my HDD is dead?

Bumping for the very last time just to see if someone can give some more info on the performance of the Casco. It looked rather fast in the videos I saw, but I want to be sure.

 

Also, hoping someone might miraculously know a solution for the problem above, or at least besides "get a new HDD".

Casco is amazing, I don't have specifics on performance, but after driving it, I love it. It's fairly fast, and handles well.
