That's also due to server issues. Heavy traffic tends to lead to some accidents, no? I'm sure everything will be fine and back to normal in the next few days.

The ifruit app on PS Vita has been updated and will now allow you to have up to 30 custom plates. Each one costs $100,000 to buy (yes, you read that right), but every time you apply it afterwards it is shown as free in the app. However, you still get charged $100,000 when you process the order at LSC.

 

Pass... I'll stick with Fiddler for my plates I think...

can i ask in what device are you running ifruit?

 

im running ifruit Build 10.0 on my ipad, theres no update for it on the app store and sure hell i dont have the plates option.

 

 

If my memory serves me correctly, he has a PS Vita. It's exactly the same layout, either way...

I used fiddler to change mine on XB1 and it charged me 100k. it now shows I have 3 different plates in my app and in LS customs in the game

Yes you can have ANY plate you want even if it's already been used.

LC and VC plates, huh? I wonder if they're trying to tell us something.

 

Where's the Yankton plates on that plate list?

 

Those are specialty plates for contest winners and ect so.

 

 

 

Even with this i'll use Charles for my custom plates it only cost $200 and i can have NY Plates.

I hate how you need a smartphone to get custom plates. (Why can't it be done in Los Santos Customs ingame?) and the fact that if your plate is already taken you can't use it. (Realistic, yes, but who cares? It's not like the universe is going to end if two players have the same plates.)

I got the Android update but it wasn't able to start the ap last night so I've not been able to investigate.

 

What I mean is say I wanted to have the plate TAILS, TP2040, MILES, MPROWER etc which I suspect

someone else has used already will it say I can't use them or will it just show the new plates in the Ifruit ap

and I can then process order?

No custom designs, just text. & the Yankton plate wasn't for any contests...not that I'm aware of anyway. The contests were plates like HIPSTER and HIGHLIFE, for example. Custom text.

But now that we can have custom plates with text that may already be taken, it renders those won contests useless, since people can put whatever they want on.

No, Every update that has dropped with new vehicles ect has had a photo contest and the winners got a specialty license plate which was one of those hence why they are in the iFruit text.

 

When i was playing with the iFruit app and went to submit an order it only said $500 but i'm not sure if that's for the plate backround itself or not and if the $100k price tag will be billed when we applied the new plate

 

 

Yes, there were photo contests for vanity plates. But to be clear, there were no specialty license plates given to players, it was just the promotion TEXT. See the example below.

 

This is how R* advertised the business weekend event contest.

 

 

 

Also the Yankton plate has never been a vanity plate in any contest. It's just a special plate which has been available since online started. With the save editor, you could put it on a car and sp2mp it, don't know if that's still possible.

 

The winners only got the custom text, not the actual special yellow and blue plate.

How do I get to this ?

 

Open up your iFruit app and go to LSC icon and when it loads click the license plate at the top of app and it will take you to the license plate screen and you click the little box and it'll give you a blank plate and put in anything you want

You can use Bluestacks Android emulator for iFruit & With this update you can use any plates you want even if they were already used otherwise this would be pointless

I was just stating the fact that all of this was a year and a half in the making and it doesn't really seem like it, to me and some others anyway, not to speak for everyone. Personally, I could have gone my entire life without the Heists. I was excited for a little while because it seemed to be an enjoyable concept, but if I really wanted a heist experience, I can just load up Payday.

 

What really tickles my funny bone is that Rockstar have apparently learned nothing since the original launch of GTA Online and failed to anticipate the hype surrounding the release of the Heists--which was arguably more hyped than GTAO itself--and failed to properly prepare the servers. History repeated itself and myself and countless others called it ages ago.

spent $200k on plates getting the correct A-team plate and KNIGHT without the space in it for my ruiner. so glad i don't have to redo every custom plate lol. I probably could have done the A-team plate with charles proxy but i was lazy.

I own more than 8 cars, yet only 8 show up when cycling on the app through my vehicles? How am I suppose to order a plate on a custom vehicle I can't find?!

But the thing is is the 100k fee one time only across all the characters linked to my account? Or will I have to pay the 100k fee once again to have another plate in my second character?
