Under "Additional GTA Online Content": Players can now buy and save up to 30 personalised licence plates for their stored GTA Online vehicles via the iFruit App.

 

Sounds like a crock of sh*t, since I'm in iFruit and there doesn't seem to be any way to do so.

Have you changed it to next gen in settings? it was showing the wrong cars for me til I did that.

it never could be done in game, always was through ifruit.

The iFruit app never works on any of my devices. I've got it for Android and iOS.

I believe the iFruit app will be getting an update at some point. Until that happens, the current version, that 30 plate option does not seem compatible.

 

Be patient people. I want the plates as bad as anyone.

it never could be done in game, always was through ifruit.yeah its set to next gen. First thing i checked. I can't figure it out.

I think I misread it. I thought they added NEW plates but the update is just custom text you get to put on the current plates. Damn I got my hopes up for something like this...

Yes you can have ANY plate you want even if it's already been used.

LC and VC plates, huh? I wonder if they're trying to tell us something.

Where's the Yankton plates on that plate list?

Those are specialty plates for contest winners and ect so.

 

Even with this i'll use Charles for my custom plates it only cost $200 and i can have NY Plates.

But now that we can have custom plates with text that may already be taken, it renders those won contests useless, since people can put whatever they want on.

No, Every update that has dropped with new vehicles ect has had a photo contest and the winners got a specialty license plate which was one of those hence why they are in the iFruit text.

 

When i was playing with the iFruit app and went to submit an order it only said $500 but i'm not sure if that's for the plate backround itself or not and if the $100k price tag will be billed when we applied the new plate

 

With servers being so screwy i can't get on to check it..

im running ifruit Build 10.0 on my ipad, theres no update for it on the app store and sure hell i dont have the plates option.
