grinding missing > heists

I haven't done all the math on what pays more. I have a general idea though. Heists has breathed new life into the game for me personally. The missions were getting to be quite a bore so having something new has really added value for me.

I think for the time being that grinding missions, if you have it down to a military precision (16x Coveted, 8x Potshot, REALLY?) will pay about the same, if not more. Once heists has been out for awhile and people get to know them as well as contact missions, I think those numbers will tilt heavily in favor of heists. I'm already seeing some players/crews that are nailing them in half the time and walking away with a ton of dough. Flash forward a month or so from now and RR/Extradition/Docks To Stocks will seem pretty damn quaint in comparison. Also, like Furry said above, if you can drop in on a heist for the finale, you can make, in one heist, what you'd make playing Potshot for two hours.

tbh, these heists are becoming much more of a misery than any fun unless you constantly have RL friends to play with

people waiting 20 minutes to get 4 players, only for one person to mess up and then leave straight away

waiting can be a pain, we all know this.....BUT if the host will communicate to randoms, what is going on, that helps a bunch if its the first time they have played it..........and let people know its ok to screw up.......people leave when honest mistakes are made and they fail .........when randoms know they are with a GOOD group of people they normally hang with them...........were all here to play a game, not hear some kids or young adults bitching about crap that happens..........learn to laugh have a good time even when screw ups happen .........and remember you can play the bad ass on here........but real life is different......

Ahahahah ahahahah

You people are so damn hilarious.

Your only argument is that they are fun and not a grind and you get unlocks...

What are you gonna do once you've done them all?? Which is pretty damn easy. Then they are a grind just like the contact missions... Bahaha your arguments against this are stupid and thoughtless.

You're pretty hilarious yourself. 'Kay, lemme asplain you a few things:

- Nothing becomes a grind unless you play it over and over and over. If you mix in heists with contact mission, along with all the other jobs and some free-roam action then everything stays equally as fresh and nothing becomes a grind, until the game itself starts to get stale and boring.

- They're fun right now cuz they're new, interesting, and more complicated than the contact missions we've had for 1.5 years. Eventually they'll get boring, but by then everyone will have played them so much that they'll be a lot better at them, reducing the number of fails and increasing the amount of $$ you can make from them.

- Calling someone else's argument "hilarious", "stupid", and "thoughtless" doesn't make you or your argument look any smarter.

Yea but you called his argument hilarious as well, so you're not smarter.

Not technically true. I called him hilarious, not his argument. I also didn't call him stupid or thoughtless.

<squeaker whine> Besides, he started it!! </squeaker whine>

Heists are tucking FUN when played with a competent crew that communicates.

I was lucky enough to be picked up by a crew who needed a 4th when I used "Quick Heist" in my phone. We did the Humane Raid, and it was the most fun I've had in this game to date.

Teaming up with an insurgent and a Valkyrie to wage war on the free roam lobby was a blast too. Should have some video of that coming soon.

you forgot about fun

contact missions are actually a lot more fun now because of the new system in place. You can select another range of contact missions now instead of random jobs. Also the one you just played might come up again after your next selection. So if you like it and it pays well, then you're actually having more fun than wasting time waiting and losing at heists for 25k an hour. I'll trade that for 12k ++ every 10min Give or take.

i decided to try that out yesterday and afther the mission was completed i saw a lot of new unplayed jobs in the voting screen. before i only got missions that i allready played before. i've found a lot new missions and having a lot of fun doing them. especially with the new heist vehicles and equipment.

thanks for the tip :)

I SEE NO REASON TO DO HEISTS. Completed heist with 25% payout, not being the leader, and you gross $80-180k for 2 hours work. Grind any other high paying mission and get $240k-$400k

pretty much

like i said, heists is overrated

you do get nice vehicles tho

Maybe it's more fun..?

And please show me the mission that gets me 200k/h, I'd totally grind that :)

Money wise, farming heists only works if you've got a solid crew.

Several times I've joined a finale with randoms hoping to get an easy $100K. But they always mess up, so it takes us 1.5-2 hours to complete it. I could have made more grinding Rooftop Rumble or Mixed Up With Coke in that time.

I find heists more fun.

If I just wanted money, there are... "easier" means of acquiring financial resources.

Like 150 000 for a heist that takes less then 2 houres with a good team

100 000 per hour grinding missions

not mentioning the end heist...yea grinding wins by a small margin...also...dont forget about fun

After i have helped some people with the criminal mastermind challenge im hoping to have some usefull psn friends to have both fun with heists while still making money

I get invites for prison break finale at least once every 5 minutes. Providing on the competency of the players you can easily achieve more money per hour than regular missions. I made a million in a day recently (granted one of those wins was the Pacific standard 250k each)
